Time Gives You Perspective and Confidence

In watching a documentary about the career of soccer phenom Hope Solo, I was inspired by the idea that time affords us perspective we may not have had in the moment. 

Time gives us the space to take a broader viewpoint on decisions, choices, and actions we made in the past so that we can hopefully make better ones in the future.

This must come with a level of trust, a surrender to never knowing with certainty how things will turn out. With the perspective that time affords us, we can move forward confidently even in the face of high uncertainty.
