Episode description

There’s a natural tendency with content creation and publishing to want to put your best foot forward, to show up as the authority and expert on your chosen niche.

As well we should.  Informational content is important and delivers a level of value to your audience.

However, we have to also remember that people connect to stories and that part of what makes stories compelling is the struggle.

To share your journey, including all the messiness and hardships and challenges you’re facing, is to bring a level of humanity to your content that makes it more real and accessible.

We don’t share our struggles because of fear of judgement and fear of being vulnerable and appearing weak.  But understand, the struggles are  what connect us as human.

So share your struggle.  Be vulnerable and authentic to the story.
