Setting Healthy Boundaries

There’s lots of talk in our space around setting boundaries. Usually it’s in regards to keeping specific people out of your life.
But I say having TRUE BOUNDARIES goes beyond looking at how other people are behaving.
Setting true and healthy boundaries has more to do with our inner world than our outer one. It has more to do with the stories and judgements we have of other people than their actual behaviors.
I worry that the current conversations around boundaries will make you adversarial and guarded towards the world and people around you. That’s no way to be.
To live is to struggle. And we can get through struggles better when we lean on one another for help.
