In a world that feels so ready and willing to invalidate our every thought and deed, it’s natural to justify and defend our very presence.

We don’t need to. 

Though the internet might make feel the way, reality is far more kind and at least balanced with people who love you for you.

Moreover, letting this way of thinking set in to become a prevailing mindset will limit your growth.  If you’re justifying and defending who you are right now, then all the more difficult to move on to become who can be. 

The more defensive of who you are (and this happens unconsciously) the more fixed that identity becomes.   Be willing to let go.  You have nothing to be defensive about.
