It’s Time to Re:DEFINE Network Marketing

In my quest to bring the Network Marketing profession into the new age, I feel it’s time to speak firmly and concretely about the changes w ended to make.
To do this, we have to begin by redefining what network marketing is and how it works not just for us networker marketers but also for the public at large.
We start by owning the truth that WE ARE MARKETERS and as such are then responsible for learning skills needed to be effective marketers.
The next natural step is to then stop making recruitment the primary avenue to generating income in network marketing. As MARKETERS our task is to generate customer sales. Recruitment people into the business is then an added bonus rather than the main incentive.
Of course there is a caveat — you must find a network marketing company whose compensation plan allows for pay outs on customer sales alone without and recruitment requirements.
My company Yoli has one such comp plan update and I’m sure there are others out there growing wise to the need for this adaptation.
The market place is shifting. This shift requires network marketing to shift with it. If we don’t, we risk going extinct.
