The honeymoon phase will wear off and with it the excitement and enthusiasm you have for the new goals you set at the beginning of the year.

The next phase you’ll experience is called the Deception Phase.  This is when you’re left with none of the excitement but all of the work.

Your mind will create all sorts of stories telling you that it’s not worth it, that it won’t work.  You’ll begin to question whether you’re even good enough to achieve and have your goals.

That’s the process that lead me to experiencing IMPOSTOR SYNDROME.

And it’s not the first time.  It’s actually quite normal and something that I experience fairly regularly.

I explain this process to give you perspective so that you can grow your awareness around your own growth journey and the mixed bag of emotions you’ll ultimately experience.

We all go through impostor syndrome.  Now that you know how it happens, you’ll be in a better position to work through it.
