Is hitting rock bottom necessary for making lasting changes in your life?  No, it’s not. Thankfully for most, the discomfort of hitting rock bottom far outweighs the discomfort of change.  So, making a change is the natural choice.

Just be careful not to make decisions based in volatile emotional states.  If you choose a new course base on reactive fear and lack and desperation, you’re less likely to see it through than if you were to choose a track that inspires and moves you.

Now, if you’re in a position of relative comfort and stability, change isn’t quite so easy to face. Understand that you have to be proactive and adopt a growth mindset because the simple truth is that time is always moving forward and the world is always changing.

And if you don’t keep up, your current stability will gradually fade and you’ll find yourself playing catch up.

So change is inevitable… for everyone.  Be proactive and choose a life of growth and discovery.
