It’s natural to think that the goal for content creation is virality and getting as many views and likes and followers as possible.  As an extension, we then create content targeting as large an audience as possible.  

This doesn’t work.  Creating content with the intention of mass appeal actual has the opposite effect — it ends up appealing to no one.

If you niche down, moreover if you focus on speaking your authentic truth and sharing your unique journey and message, you’ll attract the people who are actually LOOKING for you, people who are searching for the thing you’re delivering. 

Chasing virality, you risk losing your unique voice. You risk getting lost in the sea of millions of other people doing exactly the same thing — publishing content that consists of a string of trends rather than actual substance. 

You don’t everyone. You need the RIGHT ones.
