This is Alex's story. In his early thirties, he suffered blood clots on his lungs following some international flights.
He assumed he was fit and healthy up to that point. Sometime later he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and was told you either take the insulin or you could die or be in a diabetic coma.
Alex had other ideas and instead decided to learn about his body and how it operates and put his health back together. Today he is in better health and fitness than he has ever enjoyed.
We have much to learn from Alex's story.
