2. Self Awareness with Alaina Key aka Make It Pretty

Today I had the honour in sitting down with the amazing Alaina Key from Make It Pretty.  Alaina was one of the first polynesian women I found in biz that I looked up to so it was so perfect that she was my first guest. We talk about how her biz came about, what key factors led to her success and she gave us tips for businesses who want to grow their following - get onto those instagram reels fam! We also spoke about the effects covid had on her livelihood, biz and mental well being, her decision to move back home to NZ and how sad it is that when some poly's move from NZ to Aus they have a negative outlook on NZ. We also close with her biggest lesson in life which was to evaluate your life - your priorities and values and see if your life aligns with it and then be brave enough to make the changes.
