- Don't rely solely on someone else for your income/You need to have multiple sources of income

- Trust your gut

- Honesty is the best policy

- Choose your friends wisely

- Your job doesn't define you and determine your "success"

- Success to me is happiness

- You have some many options and choices in life

- Everything happens for a reason

All in all, getting fired was a blessing in disguise.
