Episode description

I’m doing a webinar on Friday, January 10th, on how to make 2025 your best year yet 🔥

You can sign up for free here: https://www.danaskoglund.com/dreamlife

In this episode, I cover key strategies to stick to your goals this year:

1. **Stress Test Your Goals**: Assess your goals by listing potential obstacles and strategies to overcome them. Ask yourself if you're prepared for your journey to take longer, cost more, or be harder than expected. If you're not willing to commit, you might need to reevaluate your goal.

2. **Evaluate the Costs**: Understand the time and effort required. You may need to sacrifice activities that consume your time, like scrolling through social media or binge-watching shows. Identify what you can delegate or eliminate from your schedule to create space for your new goal.

3. **Adopt New Habits**: Identify habits necessary for achieving your goals. Instead of diving in completely, start small. Break down your habits into tiny, manageable actions, allowing patience and time for these new practices to solidify. Focus on incremental improvements rather than perfection.

4. **Embrace Emotions**: Recognize that uncomfortable emotions, such as failure, rejection, and frustration, are part of the journey. Understand where these feelings manifest in your body and make peace with them. Accept that they’ll accompany your pursuit of goals but shouldn’t derail your progress.

5. **Change Your Identity**: Transform your beliefs about yourself and your goals. Reflect on how your current self-view contradicts your aspirations. Shifting your perspective can be powerful; for example, learning about the negative effects of sugar may help someone motivated to give it up. When your beliefs shift, your behaviours will follow.

Achieving your goals is about more than just setting them—it's about the dedication and effort that follow. If you’re ready to transform your approach this year, check out my Dream Life webinar on January 10.

✨ Wishing you a transformative and abundant year ahead! If you found this helpful, please share, rate, and review! 🎧💫
