141. Your To-Be List

Studies show that of the 60% of people who make New Year's resolutions, only 6% stick to them.
Why is that? Because you don’t get what you want, you get who you are.
Here's how we approach our goals:
We think about what we want to HAVE.
Then we think about what we need to DO to be successful.
When January 1st hits, we DO those things for a while, but once the New Year excitement wanes, we stop. Then we wait for the next burst of motivation to get "back on track".
To get what you want, you have to change who you're BEING. The past version of you got you here, but won’t get you to your desired results.
