Glen E. Friedman

On today’s podcast I speak with photographer Glen E. Friedman. Glen E. Friedman got his start in photography photographing the legendary Dogtown skate crew with skaters such as Jay Adams and Tony Alva to name a few. Glen is also well known for his photographs of punk rock groups such as Fugazi, Minor Threat, Suicidal Tendencies, and Bad Brains. Beyond Glens photographs of skateboarding and punk rock culture Glen is well known for his photographs of legendary hip hop artists such as the Beastie Boys, Run DMC, LL Cool J, Rakim, and Public Enemy to name a few. Glen’s work has been published and exhibited extensively and he has published several books of his work including titles such as “My Rules”, Fuck You Heroes”, Together Forever, and “The Idealist” to name a few.
