On today’s podcast I speak with hair / make up artist Erin Svalstad. Erin has worked with clients such as ESPN, MLB, NIKE, MTV, and The Today Show to name a few. She’s has done hair and make up on everyone from Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Tom Petty, and Jon Hamm to name a few. In this interview I speak with Erin about how she got into hair / makeup , here experience working on dozens of ESPN the Body issue shoots, as well as what she’s doing to prepare for productions moving forward to stay safe and take precautions due to Covid-19. Photo production is a team effort so I was excited to finally get a chance to speak with a hair / make artist to better understand their approach / perspective on the photo business.
