Hey all!
Welcome back to Season 3 of the PodCast.
This Season kicks off a year long, 10 Year Anniversary, and Celebration, of A Song, A City.
In this Conversation, Danny sits down with 11 year old Kyla Ng’aru of Ngoingwa, Kenya.
Kyla shares about her passion & talents in Crocheting, Singing, and Dancing.
She talks a bit about why loves Art so much, being able to create new things, as well as vulnerably shares some of her challenges around Incontinence at school & how she goes to her incredible teachers & her mom in these moments.
(Shoutout to GREAT teachers & moms for helping us through the tough times!)
Kyla & Danny talk about The Mycelium Art Project, facilitated by our friend and creator of the Project, Linnea Bertlin, and Kyla talks about some of her biggest Dreams, Goals, Aspirations, as well as shares some great advice that she would give to another young person in our Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus Community.
Kyla, you're awesome!!
:)
Thank you so, so much for all that you do!
Our SB&H Community, locally & globally, is lucky to have you.
❤️
