We discuss the perception challenges ahead for AVs, the international landscape for AV development and testing, and reactions to technology-related crashes. “The right way to think about it if you’re developing the technology is to think, what will be acceptable technology?” Jack suggests. “Even just the even twist to say ‘let’s talk about public acceptability.’ What will people actually want?
