Triangulation or “the irresponsibility cycle” has three people; a) the Victim, b) the Bad Guy, and c) the Rescuer. The Victim blames the Bad Guy and recruits the Rescuer. The Victim is the one driving the whole cycle because they’re passing responsibility onto someone else.
