We do, but I want to start off with a public service announcement. This is a public service announcement. Be indoors before curfew. No, pre-trials. Oh, pre-season trials are coming up. Yes. Get amongst it, $15 per adult. Yep, we're taking the two young fellas to five buck.

So it'll be my son Mikaidi's first Warriors game. Where was my invite? Oh, it's in Christchurch. Oh, wait, who are you taking?

Mikaidi. And Rocco Oh is Humsdine down to thingy too Yeah our whole family's going down to Christchurch Oh okay that makes sense Okay I didn't get the invite Because I'm not there Yeah Auckland though, Same price Go Media Stadium Same price $15 $5 if you've got children The weekend after Yeah Do it again What time 5.45 The thing is the one in Christchurch Is at 4pm Perfect Take your kid Yeah, Who are you missing Tigers Tigers again,

Anyway Yes Questions Questions What have we got Got one from JJ there. Actually asked last week, but a day late. Classic JJ. But yeah, so I thought, has that got in question? We need to remember that. I told him we need to remember that, and we'll ask it again next week. So what was the question again? It's a two-parter. Two parts. With Fisher, as in Fisher Harris, achievement, is he on path to be the greatest Kiwi of all time? Part two, what does he need to achieve to be the GOAT Kiwi?

I thought that's a great question. One, part one, yes, he is on track. Yes. I mean, look at the guy's achievements. Three. Is this it? Oh, yeah. Oh, three premierships. Sorry, I thought you meant like this. You know how I said part one, part two. No, no. Well, what's part three? Three premiership rings. Just an all-round. What else would he need? I mean, he's done most things. He's got a pretty good record in the black jersey.

But to be the GOAT, it's a pretty hard thing to win. So it's probably have to be the World Cup.

I was going to say, he would have to take the Kiwis to a World Cup, win it, And then Yeah I think that'd be enough That's in like Another four years Yeah And on top of that, Lead the All-Stars To a win Oh yeah So he did the year before Didn't he Yeah Did he lead them that year Probably not I think Isaac Luke Might have been the Or Adam Blair Might have been the captain But he's definitely on track Like If he wins If he's a captain Because don't forget This is his first time Captaining Yeah,

If he wins If they can win a World Cup As him as captain, Insane He's got three premier ships a record beating bashing of the kangaroos like what else can he do he can do no more yes the one box that's not ticked, is the world cup yeah do you, do you think like like. What's the word? Leota. Like, obviously, him and... The combo. Yeah. Yeah. Do they just take it all the way? Tend it to the World Cup.

Yeah. I mean, if they can both stay in form, I guess I was saying it's only four years, but four years is actually quite a long time in football. Yeah, that could be your peak period, and then... But the way... It's actually... The way Fish plays, though... Because it was a year late because of COVID, so it's only a couple years away. Oh, yeah. Sweet. Sweet. I think this way the fish plays is he could keep playing for a bit longer.

So. Yeah. It'll be a winner World Cup and then I'll happily crown him. 2025, I think. So next year. It was moved to 26 following the withdrawal of France. That's right. It was moved back a year. So 26. Oh. Oh, because they withdrew, yeah. Yeah. They were going to hold it and they didn't. Good one, France. You're up to. Okay. Anyhow, yeah. I reckon he's definitely on track to be the best. Yeah. Like he. Holding up a World Cup is probably just the one thing.

Yeah. Three premierships, record humping of the Aussies. I mean, and consistently, if the team is beating Australia, consistently until the World Cup too, that'll also help. It'll really help our podcast too, guys. Yeah. So if you just do that, that'd be great. Great question though, JJ. Yes. He knows. He knows his things. He knows his sport. He knows his sport. What else we got there? Also, what's this? I think you... Oh, actually, no, I do got another one. I just got to find it.

Sorry, because that was archived. Let me sip on my bewer. Aisha, your sister. Kilda. Kilda. Do you think Len won't use bad language at the pre-season game at Christchurch? Well, I'm taking my son, so there'll be no bad language. Interesting. Plus, there's only a trial, too, so I won't get that. What are you doing there for, you? Get the fuck out of here. Oh, sorry. Cover your ears. Ref, he's holding him down. He's been doing it all fucking day.

Get the fuck out of here. Saying to the ref that he's been doing it all day in the first five minutes of the game, good call. Even full kicker. Yeah. He's been doing the whole thing. What? Breathing? Sweet. We've got another question here. This is from Hoyer underscore call me daddy. Isn't he your uncle? I think so, yeah. Wayne Bennett, coaching the Kiwis. What do y'all think?

I'm for it. We've kind of said it before, but we're for it. He's officially applied or put his hand up for the job with New Zealand Rugby League to interview him in the coming weeks. Yeah. You need that old dog. Hey, look, I would love for a Kiwi coach to come over and just take it over. But at the end of the day, it's Wayne Bennett, and he's keen.

It would be great for another little – it would be great for Kalis and Stacey Jones to team up with him and kind of get more out of – like learn from him as well. And he can help us. Yeah, I think it's a great thing. In the future. Welcome. No, my hockey wire. Welcome back, Wayne. Uncle Wayne. Uncle Wayne-o. Matua Wayne. Matua Wayne. I guess it's stuck on you now. Matua Wayne. Matua Wayne. Welcome back, man. Yeah, all for it. Love it. Okay, another question. This is from me.

What's that? Me underscore nipples. Your nipples are hard. Your nipples are hard. Interesting. Name? Nafluma. Do you think it's a good thing for him getting moved on by the Tigers? What's your thoughts around that? I haven't really followed it, to be honest. So basically, I think he's been issued a few breach warnings from the club. For one being late, second time being sick, but just not being, he was sick, but he couldn't, no one could contact him for two days.

He'd kind of been on the outer with. He must have been real sick. Then he lodged a complaint with RRPA or something about with Benji Marshall and the way he's kind of handling it. But at the end of the day, they paid out the rest of his contract and he's done for the year. He's no longer at the Tigers. He's not got another club yet. Yeah. And who's going to win that? I think he's a quality player. Yeah. But it's one of those things.

He's been there too long. He's scored 100 tries for the Tigers. Been there too long. And he wanted to try and stay out of the storm like the other year. It's like some players sign at a new club and they just kill it. So he was killing it, or he was mean already, but he might just get that new lease on life, like, oh, this is an environment I want to be in. A hundred percent, I just think he needs a different environment.

I think he'd been at the Tigers forever, and all that time he's probably been one of the better players throughout that time. Yeah. Consistently he's been one of the better players, and it's a long time to lose. He's been losing for a long time. Yeah.

And that's why when he went to the Storm, He wanted to stay there But the Tigers Like nah Yeah I can say the storm Was probably A little loan deal This probably made him think Oh shit It's quite nice over here This is This is a life Winning the odd game, But yeah I'm a fan of it I think it's a good thing I think it also means Benji Marshall, Because the old culture There obviously wasn't working Do you know what Sorry

Trips me out about The loan in players Mid-season What's that Is they learn their plays Yeah, You come back He's gonna go left Probably the Harry Grant thing. They're like, ooh, so scared the tigers are going to know what we're doing. Yeah. They're like, oh, they can figure it out, but they probably won't be this. Not the tigers. Anyone but them. But yeah. All right. Now this is from Waz underscore lover lover. Ooh, yeah. I love, I love her. Hamlin, you're earlier to the Waz. What do you think?

Well, I showed you that. That nude picture of him. No, no. Yeah, very interesting. No, I showed you that clip from Bloke. Yes. But what they do carry on saying in it is that under the new salary cap, and because he'll be here next year. Sorry, the new what? Salary cap, sorry. He's technically, stop, shut up. Salary crap. Salary cap, man. It's technically been the same as being paid like $500,000 in the old salary cap. Yeah, I guess, yeah. But it's still a lot of money.

Yeah. Yeah, but it might just be what he needs to. Look, I'm all for it. I think I'm a fan of him as a player. I think he's a great player. I think just what a lot of people question is just the amount. But at the end of the day. If he comes out, he might come out next season with a good preseason with the Waz. And he might come out fitter than he's ever been and kill it. And I think he brings, I mean, they talk about there's being a shortage of halves.

There's probably a shortage of front rowers that are over even the medium to high caliber. Yeah, I think we've got quite a few. We've got a few young blokes coming through, right? Coming through that. I think that's why we're hiring older guys there. Because if AFB leaves, which he is next year. Yeah. I think he'll fill that kind of, because he's been around for a while. Yeah.

He's 27, 28. 28. So I think for the young fellas coming through, they're going to need someone of that age bracket or experience. And to be honest, rather than signing the next big player, I'd rather just bring people through that amenity club as juniors. Yeah, I think they're just questioning for his – he's a really solid player, but people are off the amount, the reported amount. But then I can see it as a good thing as he's like, oh, I'm going to prove you wrong now.

Yeah, a lot of – like he'll see that and say, hey. You know, he's – the thing is – Hey, my new Mercedes-Benz. Yeah, it's not about what we think he's worth. Yeah. Warrior's obviously got the fourth under Webby. They've got a system. And he's obviously ticking the boxes. To be honest, I'm not going to doubt anything Webby does Until it starts burning Yeah,

Hey, that's a bloody good point, Jase. And two, it's like, sort of like not really innocent until proven guilty, but correct until proven wrong. Yeah, like. That's what we're going to say. Exactly. Like, he did wonders in one year. I'm not going to be like, eh. Yeah. I mean, it's right to like, oh, that's interesting. Yeah. But at the end of the day, we're being true, no best. Yeah. And there's obviously, there's a few boxes people need to tick to go to the

Warriors these days, and he's obviously ticking them. Yeah. Talking on bloke as well. Well, it's annoying that we're losing AFB because we'd be the team full of acronyms. So many. RTS. Well, you got. CMK. TMM. And then you got. XYZ. Oh, there was a couple others in there. And then like Braden Harmon Ueli. Yeah. BHE. You got BUT. I mean BHU. And then you got even SJ. He goes by. SJ. Man, there's heaps. CHT. That's the other one I was trying to think of. Yeah, CHT.

There's a few, eh? Where else is there? Half our team. Let's go through them real quick. I think we've got most of them. Oh, Dallin. Oh, DWZ. What's wrong with people these days? Just take your man's name. No, it's the modern world. Might get cancelled for that. It's the modern world we live in. People can do whatever they like. There's no way my kids were going to know. Just joking. No way they'd know. I would never say it. Is that the last question from you? That was the last question,

yes. I heard Listen to the Talking League podcast today That Yes Seb Chris Sebby Has Because he got banned At the end of last year For four matches That's right Or something, Served three of them During the Oh Pacific Pacific Yeah And All starts to come forward And said he would have Definitely been picked In our team So he might be able To start at this Round one Is that No he probably would have been Actually Yeah As a centre Yeah definitely,

CNK can't play But I think he is He should be, hopefully So he might be able to play round one Which is pretty cool for Seb What about Jared then, is that the same? Yeah, hey, I don't know, man. Because, like, teams could just do them a solid. Yeah. Kiwis could just say, yeah, we're going to pick him. Yeah. I guess you could see it, like, they could say, oh, instead of Leo, we were going to pick Jared. Yeah. And they would never know.

Yeah. So that's three games. And then the same thing, the Maldives could come out and say, oh, yeah, we're going to pick Jared. How long was he banned for? Five. He'll be gutted he's missing that Vegas game. I'm kind of gutted he's missing it, too, because he's the kind of character you want in that game. You'd want him in there, like, he'd eat that shit up.

Plus he'd be so much closer to 300 Yeah A massive American stadium And he's got the dog The old dog Big old cock Big old rooster doing his thing Did you see the picture of Nelson next to Tom Brady? Yeah I know he looks shorter Bro I see the big cock and you say Did you see the picture of him? Tom Brady yeah Yeah Big unit He's a unit alright Very interesting Was it the shoes or some shit?

Yeah Yeezys I don't know, Yeezys Yeets Anyway Alright on to our next segment We've been babbling on On to our next segment No one will use for this I'll use this one Yeah Yeah Yeah Give it to me now Give it to me now Give it to me now Give it to me now. Music. It's got nothing to do with what we're about to talk about. Unless you want to talk about licking toes. Oh, well, hey. Knock it till you try it. We're going to run through three teams tonight. What we believe is their top 17.

So, yeah, tonight we're going to run through the Dirty Dogs. This is our opinion. This is our opinion. In five minutes. South Sydney. Rabbitohs. And then the Melbourne Storm Okay We'll start with the Bulldogs Now we've got the Doggies, okay Hard team to do, to be honest It was a hard team at the end, eh?

There's a few key positions So we might have completely fucked this up But this is our vision Alright, anyway, Fullback, Jase Critter Had to be a pretty easy one Paying him that money Chuck him at fullback Paying him the money It's where he wants to play One wing, you've got, you know, the Fox Have to Gotta stay foxy, The centres Now, this is where it becomes a bit interesting. Yeah. We're going to give Hayes another go. Yep. A lot of people will be riding him off.

I think he played pretty solidly last year. So, I think he deserves a spot in the team. So, centre. The other centre. Brunton. Brunton. Sherry. XX. Erie. Might be a bit of an oily call to chuck him straight in there, but Jeezy was electric. Yeah. Chuck him in. At the Sharks. But there was that drugs scandal. So, was that the drugs or was that him? We'll soon find out. But by all accounts, he is... Come back and, you know, his brain in it.

Other wing, we've got Kraz. Yes. I'm not sure if he's a noted winger. But I feel like he's good enough to be there. He played mean last year when he played a few games in wing. Like, he started a season off and he was killing it. We could even swap him in the carry round. Yeah, Kraz definitely. My Lebanese cousin deserves his spot. All right. The six. The Burton bomber. The Burton. Yeah. I want to see Burton. Yeah, Burton. I want to see...

For fullback, we've got Sexton. So I want to see him take a lot of the kicking and everything, and a lot of the lead of the game. And I want to see Burnham just run it. Just run it. Do the odd bomb. But just really just attack the line. Do what he's proven he can do. Sexton, obviously we said halfback controlling the play. One of the props we had King, hooker. Oh, it's Reid Mahoney. Mahoney. Reid. Mahoney, yeah, it is. Is that how you say it? It sounds weird what I'm saying.

I think it's Mahoney. It is Mahoney, yeah. Our other prop Sutton We've probably got the forward rotation All up the shit But it's an interesting kind of crew they've got there Yeah So it was a little hard to kind of Dial it in but we've gone with that Obviously 11 Kiko. 12 Preston Probably the best person in their team Great player Absolute weapon on the edge And then we've got our boy To go straight into sliding lock position Joshi Curran from the Wows I love it.

Him and Preston together. Oh. You know, luckily they've got Kiko, but imagine both of them playing both back row positions. Yeah. Like, it would be like, who is it? Oh, it would look the same. And then for 14, we've gone Turpin still, eh? Yeah, I chucked Turpin in. Turps, okay. He played good for our Roosters. Kurt Mann, the other one. Obviously a bit of a smaller bench. We're starting to obviously get here, but it's okay. Mobility. They're about mobility.

Knight and then to Pine. I don't know if he's a Maldi joker or not. Topin? Or is it? I don't know. Topini. Topini, maybe. Topini. Tor. T-O. But yeah, don't hate on us, but. Hey, at the end of the day, we probably should have got. They need to do some building the Bulldogs. They need to do something. They've been signing people for the last two years. Yeah. All right, moving on. South Sydney Rabbitohs, glory, glory. This team was slightly quite a bit easier to kind of put everyone in their place.

Fullback, who do you reckon, Jase? Who have you got? Hey, they talk him up. They say he plays good, so we chucked in Latrell Mitt. Latrell Mitt. What does he farm, cows? Yeah, cattle. Cattle. Cattle, I think. Well, it looks, yeah. The farmer. The Indigenous Australian superstar. That is Latrell Mitt. I wonder if he'll play. Surely he'll play All-Stars. Yeah, him and AJ. Yeah. And, oh, there you go. Another winger, AJ. Does he beat the world? The all-time. The all-time.

Yeah, I reckon. Because he's got, was he 30 tries off? Something like that, yeah. And on average, he gets around 20 tries, so. He could do it. Easily. I mean, if he has a mad year this year, he could do it. Yeah. But if he just has, like, two normal years, he'll be able to get it. Besides last year, he had two years in a row where he scored, like, 30 tries a season. Yeah, so if he just does that again.

Left side He's an absolute weapon On the end of that side AJ Yeah I really like him at fullback When he plays for Papua New Guinea Yeah Goes well there One centre Campbell Graham The other centre New signing Jack Wyden Yes, The other wing spot There's probably some other Jokers there But just because of his Kiwi heritage Not just because But also And also the way he plays He's a bit of a hothead But we like that We're going with Tani Milt.

5-8 I guess we could put Cody Walker in there He's not too bad is he Cody Walker Walker, seven, Benny Elias. Does Ben know that's his uncle? What's his real name? Elias. Anyway, Elias. I always say Elias. It's Elias. Yeah. Because Elias is like, you know, a faux name. Eight, Tula. Nine, you've got the beach sprint, Damien Cook. Ten, Dabogas. Eleven, Koloa Matangi. Twelve, Jai Arrow. Thirteen, Cameron Murray. Pretty good forward pack. Yes. Pretty good forward pack. All right, the bench.

In 14, we've got Havili. Havili, yep. Can play hooker and lock, and he's that. He's not the tallest guy, but, man, he's thick. He's thick set. He can play front row. He's a big tree trunk. 15, we had T. Duncan. 16, Moale. And 17. Kepi. Kepi. I'm looking for an R. I was like, who the hell's a R? I was going to say, Repi. Repi. I see you. I read your own writing. Kepi, yes. Signed over from Manly. I like the way he plays. He's a no-nonsense character. So we've chucked him.

And they're wrongly or rightly, if you don't like it, you can do nothing about it. Moving on. Yes. The Melbourne Storm. Everyone's favourite. Everyone's favourite mullet. Yep. I'm excited for this. Mulleted little sonic. Pappy. Little Pappy. I just want a whole season. Even just for himself, I want to see him get a whole season. I just want to see him play like two back-to-back games. Yeah. That'd be great. That was so shit when he went down there.

Oh, that was unbelievable. So the Pepin Hewson, welcome back. Just don't play well against the Warriors, please. Two, we've got the big Willie. Yes. Love the big Willie. Swinging that thing around. Had a great year last year. Impressive season. That was his first full year in league. Can't wait to see another year. Yep. Coming back on, coming, you know, from where he started the, Started last year to where he was at the end. Well, what about that try he scored?

In the final. Semi. Something like that. He scored the main try. He got the man try. He's the man. Good yardage carry too. Big body. One centre. We've got Remus Smith. Yep. Obviously, we're biased Kiwis. So, we're going to put the Kiwi guys in. There's some other options there. But we're going with Remus. Yes. So, don't Remus. The other centre. Obviously, with Pappy back, you've got the Nick Meaney situation. Yep. And he has to be in the team. He has to be in the team.

So we think he'd be a great centre. The other winger, we've got Coates. Six, Cameron Munster, obviously. Yep. The money man. Seven, Jaroms, Jar Jar, bless, Hughes. I mean, he's just, how good is he? He was great for the Kiwis again. He was one of the best sevens in the game. He's just going to get better. Yep. Eight, Welch, Christian Welch. Nine, Harry Grant. Yep. 10, Tuikamikamiko. Kamitha? Kamitha? I think it's the C in there, isn't it? So you actually have to say the TH.

Tuikamikamiko. Yeah. There's a C in there. Yeah. Kamikamitha. Mitha? Oh, I think that's how you do it. I'll head up Te Vita. You might be able to tell me. 11, Eli Katua. 12, Esplor. We've chucked him straight in. Yeah. We reckon he's going to go great guns. It's probably big body. He'll hiss. I mean, he's got so much potential. potential. King at 13. 14, B. Bronson Garlic, I believe it is. Bronson Garlic Bread. Got the G bread in there. 15, Nelson Asufa Solomona aka Nath.

16, Liero. And 17, this is a bit funky. Go with Jack Harworth. The Kiwi. The Kiwi had a great game for the NZA team. I'm really impressed with how he played. He's got the guns of doom too at the moment, so he's been training pretty hard. So, only change I'd make to that. Yes. Is maybe Chuck Nass in it. To start. Second row. Oh, second row. Yeah. He's that big guy running off the line. Yeah, it's on the edge. I just don't know if that suits him the best. It doesn't really.

But I've just seen him get a short ball and him just pummeling blokes. But he can get a bit of a cold sit in there on the edge. Yeah. We're going to do an 18th man for this team too. Who are you going? Far Longo? Yeah, Far Longo. I mean, he's going to force his way in at some point. Whether through injury. Yeah. At least. Oh, did you trip over? Yeah, so it's really like any of the outside backs. Yeah. As soon as one goes down. He'll be in or he'll just be pushing them from day

dot. And I wouldn't be surprised to see if he even does get a spot. The kid's bloody crazy. Insane on the membrane. Absolutely insane in the membrane. Yes. Sweet. Well, that was it. That was quite fast. Yeah. Any changes you guys would make, let us know. Yeah. It's quite hard, especially the Bulldogs. They were quite slim on their full pack. Yeah, that's when you try and do that. That's when you look and you go, oh, shit.

I mean, there's some unknown names in there to us. So, you know, some of them might break out, be great players. Where is it? Where is it? Joash Papali. Papali. Joash. Joash. Oh, there. Raymond Fatala Mariner. Yes, he's gone to the Dragons. Oh, yeah, Dragons, sorry.

Confirmed they'll sign him So Raymond great player Yeah If he can stay injury free It's probably a good pick up for him He's a no nonsense kind of So Like he probably would have been in their team but So the Dragons There was a bit of a fallout there though eh Yeah something happened, He was not happy Which is a bit of a shame Because he was a co-captain last year, Wonder Yeah And then, Old Knights Has changed their captains Hmm Have they Yeah Tomololo and Chad

Not captains anymore Oh Cowboys sorry Ah sorry Yeah Cowboys Who's the captain? Dredden and... Dredden and what? Robson, maybe. Might have been Robson coming, but I'll bring it up. Interesting. Oh, is that the whole story I've seen about them moving on, like from a bit older now? Yeah, like a bit older, like bring the younger guys in, then they don't have to worry kind of thing. People have said that they reckon Jason Tomololo will get moved on.

Tomololo, sorry. Has he done this 10 years? No, but I think... Like, shit, that is a long-ass contract. Oh, no. Cotter. oh yeah of course he'd be a great captain another moulay. Do you reckon that Tomololo will get moved on? I don't think so. I wouldn't think so. But they're saying the language of what they're saying about that could mean that they might try and move him on, Tomololo. So yeah, who knows? But it'd be weird to see Jason Tomololo in a different jersey.

100%. I'm just going to see if I can find. They didn't. What's that? I'd have seen if anyone's chucked up there, like starting lineups. Oh, for the dogs and that? Yeah. I know that, what are you, IQ, I think it's called, has done it? Oh, they've done all the teams. If you just find it and then just see how far off we are. Oh, that's right. I'm on the podcast page. That's why I can't find it. Give me two seconds. Sorry, bear with us. Here we go. Oh, footy brain. They're already done.

Bulldog. There. So they're gone. Stephen Crichton, fullback, Perez at wing, Connor Tracy. That's who we were tossing up. Connor Tracy as well. and Bronson Cherry at centres, Josh Adokar of a wing Matt Burden and Sexton in the halves, got Max King and Liam Knight starting as your props, Reid Mahoney your number nine, Kakao and Preston and then they got Josh Curran at lock as well and then they got Taff Sutton, Kurt Mann and oh well, Raymond for time, Aaron but he's just moved.

Pretty close, I think the reason we Swung Towards Perrim Is where The Kiwi NRL Podcast, Oh This is I think We've got This thing Spot on For the Well that's Assuming That they're Correct Yeah, Assuming They're Correct Oh no They got They had One different Wing That is Zyatass In there Too In Tyrone Monroe But we Hit Tarny Milne Because Obviously We're The Kiwi NRL Podcast Yeah, Sorry, also, this is their round, because this is a podcast, I mean, fantasy.

It's a round one team, and they don't have Whiten in there because he's not playing round one. Aye. He's suspended. Ah, yes, of course, of course. A horse of horse, of course. Sweet. But yeah. Hey, leagues are one week closer. One week closer. And we're going to start, obviously, things have turned back to normal in society. Yes. So we're going to start running back the weeklies. So we'll be doing more of the team breakdowns.

Then obviously with the Maldives game coming up there'll be a bit more true Maldi going on yep Jace is going to do a haka no, I've done my yearly haka he's going to do a haka on cam yeah so we as we get closer to the footy we'll obviously be on here a lot more but yeah thanks for listening also, JJ's been asking I'll make one if anyone else is interested we'll do it Jace will run that I will not be partaking yes and Andre will probably get involved but we'll run a fantasy,
