Given their work in the military, it almost seems unlikely that my two guests would start a tattoo franchise. They have identified a growing mainstream market and are taking a fresh approach to appeal to these customers. Maria Joukov is the CEO and co-founder of inq Tattoos. Maria’s career started in the Department of Defense, where she supported high priority accounts for the US military, Intelligence Community, and lawmakers. Maria then launched a boutique consulting company that serves the US Intelligence Community and has employees in multiple states. Pete Joukov is Co-Founder of inq Tattoos. Pete served in the Navy for five years and completed multiple deployments, leading military personnel on five continents.
