Since childhood Dan Dowding had a fascination with mountains and a desire to summit the worlds highest Mount Everest at 8,848 meters. In May 2021 at the age of 49 his dream came alive.
Dan's expedition was unique being led by mountaineering legend Nims Dai and in this show he shares with us some of the most mind blowing parts of the trip, how they did things different and how coming down is certainly harder than getting up.
