S3 Ep7: Is It Worth Buying Games (or a new console) Day One? (Impossible Mission Episode 44)

Very simple question this week. Is it worth the bother getting the next big game on day one? Is it worth playing a broken or overpriced game just to be "part of the conversation"? The same questions are also asked of new consoles, especially when the two big dogs are coming out before years end.
