This episode is ALL about stress and mental health. Chronic stress has a profound impact on mental and physical health. When we feel overwhelmed our nervous system is dysregulated. Learning to regulate our nervous system is how we overcome the overwhelm. Grounding exercises, decreasing inflammation, mindfulness, gut health, laughter and renewing our mind are very helpful. Spending time with people and hobbies that bring you joy also help. Keeping a check on anxiety and releasing trauma is vital. Turns out trauma is meant to be released not stored in our body. As we develop emotional resilience we improve all areas of life. I have tools to help.
