Episode description

Today on the Good Problem Podcast we have the amazing Emily Braucher of ReFresh Communication talking cross cultural communication and how important it is to listen to those we are working with.

I loved this chat with Emily, and I love this topic - I could talk about it for days on end! So much goes wrong because we consistently look at, and hear things through our own cultural lenses. It's not deliberate, but it can be very harmful and downright dangerous in some cases (there's been a few cases of plane crashes and near misses due to cultural misunderstandings).

Emily has worked, volunteered, researched and traveled in over 30 countries including two years of service in the US Peace Corps, She supports diverse clientele including non-profit staff, international business professionals, refugees, university students and high school students both domestically and abroad through her organisation, Refresh Communication.
