Episode description

Learning your worth can be a tough task for a lot of us as womxn of color. We are constantly being underpaid, overworked, having our labor taken for granted, and being overlooked for promotions. No wonder our self-esteem is a mess and we struggle so much with imposter syndrome. In this episode, I share my own journey to learning my worth. I talk about discrimination I faced due to my visa status and what it was like for me as a migrant working in Australia. I talk about being exploited as a backpacker in Australia and share with you my journey in finding my worth. I know I am not the only woman of color who has ever wondered, "How do I know my worth?" and so in this episode I talk a bit about a journey to self-love, advocating for yourself, negotiating your salary, and holding people who exploit migrants accountable by reporting them. Tune into this episode to hear more and don't forget to share this podcast with a friend it may resonate with as well.
