For this week’s podcast, I go into Erik Erikson’s 8 stages of human development. From infancy to older adulthood, I dive into what is developed after successfully completing each stage. Essential virtues develop from each of the eight stages which are:
Trust vs. mistrust
Autonomy vs. shame & doubt
Initiative vs. guilt
Industry vs. inferiority
Identity vs. role confusion
Intimacy versus isolation
Generativity vs. stagnation
Integrity vs. despair
