As we mark World Day for Safety and Health and Work, Manal Azzi, Senior Occupational Safety and Health Specialist at the ILO, joins us to discuss the vital role that safe workplaces play for crisis recovery and prevention. Drawing on lessons learned from dealing with the pandemic, she lays out some of the strategies outlined in a new ILO report on how to strengthen national occupational safety and health systems to build resilience, in order to face crises now and in the future.
