In today's episode I have the honor of speaking with volunteer combat medic Brandon Mitchell whose ambulance was recently hit by a Russian landmine while evacuating Ukrainian civilians in the Donbas. Brandon has served in Ukraine for six months. Mr. Mitchell is the purest example of a true hero (although he hates being called a hero) who risks his life to save Ukrainian civilians from the ongoing onslaught of Russian bombing raids in the Donbas region. Brian has successfully fundraised for three four wheel drive transport vehicles and one ambulance, and is currently fundraising for generators to provide heat and lights for the coming winter in Donbas region.Β
