Episode 51: Shane Cameron

Shane Cameron is one of New Zealands best known boxers. He is now a sucessful businessman.

Shane and I sat down for this podcast way back in January. Long before the podcast “Runners Only!” even launched. Being on the cusp of being an actual boomer, I lost this entire audio file and some others…or so I thought. They turned up the other day on an SD card (long born story).

Shane’s a good dude and I forgot how enjoyable our conversation was. We talk in depth about the “fight of the century” against David Tua (and how long it took him to recover mentally from the beating), Dancing with the stars, life before and after boxing, the Commonwealth games, and heaps more.
