Episode description

Nikki Kaye is best known as being the former deputy leader of the National party while it was in opposition (and also a high profile cabinet minister during one of the parties most successful stints in power, under John Key).

But she is so much more than that.  She’s done the coast to coast multi sport event a few times and was even an age group running champ in her teens.

She is also a cancer survivor- this was a diagnosis she got when she was holding down the job of a Cabinet minister that saw her chalking up 100 hour work weeks.

We cover alot of stuff in this conversation and she really opens up in the second half when we get to the real important stuff- like the cancer, mental wellbeing and therapy, she could not have been more open than she was.  And I really thank her for that.

I really enjoyed this chat with Nikki and I hope you guys do as well.

Dom.
