Is the Chrissy Swan Show. Stay listening. If you want some clues as to what happened with Jaylo.

Speaker 2

And Ben.

Speaker 1

Chrissy's clique faites, I've hooked you in, but I don't have them. J Lo has sat down and talked with Interview magazine. In fact, she spoke to that gorgeous comedian who we all love, nick Someone Glazer.

Speaker 2

Nicki Glazer. Yeah, we all fell in love with her on the Tom Brady Roast.

Speaker 1

And she's been tapped to do something amazing like host the Oscars or the Emmy's or the something.

Speaker 2

Oh it escaped to me what it is.

Speaker 1

She's as one of the big ones, Golden Globe something. Anyway, she has been tasked with the job of getting it out of jay Lo about what happened with Ben Affleck.

Speaker 2

I wonder if they're mates, Nikki and ja Loo, because Jayla doesn't seem like the kind of gal that Nicki would get around I know.

Speaker 1

But also Jaylo doesn't seem like the sort of person would sit down with just anybody. I think they must know each other. So what I can gather from what I've read is so she says things like this, you have to be complete if you want something that's more complete. And I've read between the lines there, and what she's saying is that ben Affleck has a lot of work to do on himself. Yeah, and that he's not.

Speaker 2

But like j Lo, you've been there. How did you not know that?

Speaker 1

That is interesting that you said, Because she said that she had to do it two or three times to get the answers. She said, it almost broke me. It almost took me out for good. But now I'm on the other side of it, I think to myself, this is exactly what I needed. Thank you God. I'm sorry it took me so long. I'm sorry I had to do this to me so many times. I should have learned it two or three times ago. I get it. You had to hit me real hard over the head

with a sledgehammer. She drops the F bond. She's cool, mom, She's cool, mom, cool Mom. You dropped the house on me. Don't have to do it again. And I think she says something interesting as well, is that she's like, you know, there are two types of people. There's you and me, and then there are those that really love being in relationships and want to grow old with someone. And that

kind of fuels their whole purpose of life. They're always looking for somebody, right if they don't have that person. And she said that she is a person like that, and she just always thought that you had to have somebody to be complete. But she's sort of learning that you don't.

Speaker 2

That's good that she's finally got there.

Speaker 1

Yeah, And she's not looking for another partner and she's not interested, and she's just hanging with her kids. And I think that is a really good thing. And I hope Ben Affleck's going to do the same.

Speaker 2

Mate, he'll be right. As long as he's got Siggi's and donuts. That man is happy.

Speaker 1

And his ex, Jennifer Garner, who's just the best.

Speaker 2

Yeah, she's in and out grabbing him his burger totally.

Speaker 1

Now what was I talking about? Next? Taylor Whift and Travis Kelse, Things are going well there. They are not engaged, despite what a colleague of his has said, right, but she is teaching him little by little. She is spreading his wings for him. He's she's showing him wider horizons, particularly culinary wise. And he has said, because I've been a bit off Travis, I've been a bit off him. You have but now I'm back on him because he used the word pooey.

Speaker 3

Hell, listen, John Balaiah, I just there's something about just like water and race. I decided to don't I don't think it's like a super race race. It's like pooey, pooey. Yeah, you don't mind color. Yeah, you know I'm starting to open up to I know, to the girl you opened.

Speaker 2

Up she is.

Speaker 1

He says it with a straight face too, like it's a proper adjective. I just think it's really funny.

Speaker 2

It's very like er like. It just speaks to exactly who I think he is, that he would have liked to try certain foods because of how they look or smell or taste like that's trap. But like his brother there said, good on Taylor for trying to expand his horizon.

Speaker 3

Yes.

Speaker 2

Yes, Also, that podcast he does with his brother is clearly going well because I've noticed in that clip they've got a studio upgrade and they're now sponsored by Coca Cola. I mean, of course it pays to date Taylor Swift.

Speaker 1

Speaking of a Coca Cola, We're going to talk to a leaper's diet coke thing next. I can't wait the Chrissy Swan Show, The Chrissy Swan Show. First, Chrissy's clickit if it's just me? Or are the met Gala themes getting Cookia and Cookia?

Speaker 2

They're always so confusing you have to google the meaning of the theme, yes, to understand what the hell it is.

Speaker 1

Of course, we're speaking of that event where everybody turns out. It's like a real proper fashion event and people tune in just to see what people are wearing.

Speaker 2

To see what they want. Cut those steps in.

Speaker 1

More so than the oscars or anything else these days, I think, so any I agree. So the new theme has been revealed and it is super fine tailoring black style, right, which sounds sort of straightforward until you read the inspiration.

Speaker 2

Yeah, because I would like I hear that and I go, oh, yeah, that's.

Speaker 1

Like a nice tailored suit. Yeah, yeah, that's black tie exactly. That's what you would think. But no. It is reportedly based off the vision of author Monica L. Miller, who wrote the two thousand and nine book Slaves to Fashion, Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black deosporic Identity. I suddenly feel like I'm in year twelve and I'm doing a cat. You know, that sounds like a lot of work. Can you imagine the squealing that's going on around celebrity

houses at the moment, going what does this mean? What am I gonna wear?

Speaker 2

Their stylists, what does it mean?

Speaker 1

I mean, we spoke a couple of weeks ago about theme parties and you're you you don't like a theme dress?

Speaker 2

No, how would you go with that? The Metgala themes? I don't mind though, because you're not going in a costume as such, You're just dressing into a certain style or like vibe.

Speaker 1

It's very hard.

Speaker 2

They're also quite loose, like last year's was sleep This year sorry was Sleeping Beauties Reawakening Fashion, So it almost felt like a bit of like Disney Princess in the Garden vibe.

Speaker 1

Yeah, there was a lot of that, wasn't there.

Speaker 2

Whereas with this I feel like it will be a lot of like beautiful suiting and.

Speaker 1

Oh god, it sounds very, very hard. Anyway, I can't wait to see what all those stylists pull off. And they have co chairs every year, and this one is an interesting trio. Lewis Hamilton, yep Asap Rocky and Pharrell Williams are going to be the you know, the muses, I guess the Guardians, extremely stylish men. And of course Anna Winter from Vogue as per usual.

Speaker 2

Can't wait for it. It's not until main next year, so they've got some time to start thinking.

Speaker 1

They'll need it. They'll need it, and I reckon, there's going to be a lot of faux pas there. Yeah, it's a dangerous it is area.

Speaker 2

It is. Yeah, it could be troubling for some correct.

Speaker 1

Now let's move on to this article. The headline grab me. Groom is slammed as pathetic for working on laptop in the middle of his wedding. There is a photograph here of a man at the wedding table, at the bridle table. People are dancing behind him. I mean, it looks like the world's most depressing wedding. Looks like it's it looks like it's taken on like level five of an office building.

Speaker 2

Yeah, it looks like a conference center.

Speaker 1

So bad. And he has his laptop open. And that is the groom.

Speaker 2

Who is it Elon Musk No.

Speaker 1

But he is similar. So he's a tech mogul. His name's Casey macrol and he has a software company called thought Ly and a huge client came on board and needed to be launched within two weeks. Happened to be the same two weeks that he was getting married.

Speaker 2

But my god, I feel like he's trying to prove a point there because a nerd burger like that wouldn't have wanted a wedding. He would have said, I'm too busy working to his future wife. So I feel like he's done that just to be like, see, I told you I'm important.

Speaker 1

Then I say, just don't have it. That is so hurtful. Yeah, that is so hurtful. And as my was Maya Angelou or Oprah, that says when somebody shows you who they are, believe that the first time. That means that when she's having a baby, the laptop's going to be there. When she wants to talk from us something important, He's going to be on the laptop. That is him. That's who she's married.

Speaker 2

By the time the kids are in high school, he'll be in space on some mission with Eli.

Speaker 1

Absolutely he will.

Speaker 2

That's us done for today.
