The Casey Catch Up with Lukas Schuler (Foil Only) | Lake DW Runs, Bungee Foiling and Flatwater Paddle Ups

I asked Lukas to come on the podcast as he has a bit of a different story compared to others I have had on. He is from Germany and learnt to foil in a river using a bungee. He has since progressed to winging and now downwind foiling utilising big foils and the lakes in his local area. It was a pleasure to dive into his foiling journey and he even flipped the questions onto me at the end. Lukas is also a Coach Casey Club member and heading to the French Downwind Race in October which will be exciting to follow along from Australia before we get some DW races of our own under way with 20 Beaches in Sydney and the West Coast Down Winder in Perth.
