Let's kill the fake sh*t! I'm not here to romanticize healing by only talking about the beauty that takes place AFTER you've made it through the fire. I'll save that for the other coaches on the market. Healing Black Women from their mother wounds isn't about "emotional bypassing." We try to go around the tough sh*t to get to the good part, but that's not how healing from a mother wound works.
This year in the She Is Loved Community; we are doing the work. We're burning down the building, sifting through ashes, and finding pieces of ourselves that were buried under the foundation. Today, I'm discussing what it feels like to take healing seriously; so that you can go after what you want in 2022.
Join me for part two of Are You Hiding or Healing.
Takeaways:
- Our relationships with our mothers have caused us not to trust ourselves. Have you ever struggled with feeling unworthy or deserving? Learn how the lack of permission and authority we experienced as children prevented us from following our dreams.
- Living in pursuit of your dreams isn't about collecting validation from outside sources - we've been there and done that as daughters to toxic mothers- pursuing our dreams is about validating our right to exist as we ARE.
