Deconstructing the Genetically Modified Atheist's christianity

Let's have a look at what passes for failed christianity in the eyes of the youtube hero "the genetically modified atheist".  He's certainly has a huge success, and impact, with his almost 700,000 views per "atheist" video - but is he actually a skeptic? Does his atheist claims have merit? Is his new atheist community really any different from the oppressive independant "christian fundamental" cult he left? 
To be fair: it would take months to deeply explore this - but let's have a quick look and see what immediately rises to the top.
