On this edition of the show, The Magic of Real Gold. I have always been fascinated by why that people are so engrossed with gold. It's the most mysterious substance in a way, because it's it's universally prized and if you talk to you know, typical gold experts, they'll just say, well, it's because it's pretty and because it's rare. Well, you know. But the thing is, there are lots of other things that are also pretty and rare, but they're just not as much as gold. I mean, they don't sort of

form the foundation for economies. And I of course there's a mystical element to this, duh. I'm going to get into that. But I was recently reading this book called The Power of Gold, The History of an Obsession, written by Peter L. Bernstein, and this was well, it has copyrights in two thousand and twenty twelve. It's a big, thick, heavy book, also an audiobook, four hundred and thirty two pages,

and here's what it says. On page one, the author talks about a man named John Ruskin, who was an English writer and philosopher back in the day, and the book says about one hundred years ago, John Ruskin told the story of a man who boarded a ship carrying his entire wealth in a large bag of gold coins. A terrible storm came up a few days into the voyage,

and the alarm went off to abandoned ship. Strapping the bag around his waist, the man went up on deck jumped overboard and promptly sank to the bottom of the sea. Asks Ruskin, now as he was sinking, had he the gold or had the gold hymn? This kind of exemplifies that love hate relationship that people have with I guess wealth in general, but especially gold, because it is just a medal. But you know, it's very unlike most other materials,

Unlike any other element on Earth. Almost all the gold that has ever been mined is still around, whether it's in museums or in coins, or on fingers and necks, and of course who knows how much might be at the bottom of the sea. Here's how rare gold actually is. If you piled all the gold ever found in all of history into one solid cube, you could fit it aboard any one of today's great oil takers. Okay, any one ship. One ship could hold all the gold. And

there's math in this book to prove that. Says here on page three quote and Cairo, you will find a toothbridge made of gold for an Egyptian forty five hundred years ago, and its condition is good enough to go into your mouth today. Here's something else that I always thought was very interesting. When you look back at the usefulness of gold. Gold is almost as soft as putty. Now I know that some of you will find this

hard to believe, but listen, this is true. You can draw an ounce of gold one ounce of gold out into a wire that is almost fifty miles in length, or hammer it into a sheet that would cover one hundred square feet. That's one ounce of gold. And anytime I bring up measurements on this show, I always try to be considerate of those of you who live in

other parts of the world. So when I'm saying an ounce of gold could be turned into you're talking about basically like a shot glass of gold could be turned into fifty miles that is eighty point four kilometers. And let's see here one hundred feet to meters. Is this conversion stuff? Is all is in the way? Okay, So that's thirty meters. So you can hammer an ounce of gold into a sheet that's thirty square meters as well. Okay.

So anyway, it does have some amazing physical properties. And the symbol for gold, do you know what it is like if you go to the periodic table or what you know what the symbol is, it's a you well, why is that just a bit of trivia. Well, it derives from the Latin word orum, just like aurora, which just means shining dawn. That's the thing. It's a shiny, vibrant thing. And really people worship the sun. It does

seem to provide much of the life on Earth. We used to think the sun provided all the life on Earth, and then scientists found these little worms that live at the bottom of the ocean and they never get access to sunlight and just live off the heat. But you get the And you know, my buddy Jim Marris, the late Jim Marris, he wrote he wrote a lot of

great books. One of my favorites was called Alien Agenda, and that book came out, I think in nineteen ninety eight, and that was one of the books in which he talked about the Ananaki theory that Zechariah Sitchen helped to popularize.

And you know, the idea is that, well, the reason that gold was originally so valuable to humans was because that it was valuable to the aliens who came here, the ancient astronauts who made contact with those early humans and even manipulated their genes because in a nutshell, these aliens they had all this advanced genetic technology and propulsion, et cetera. But they needed gold. Why. I'll get to

that in a second. So the idea is that they came here and they fold some primitive form of human being, and then they manipulated our genes to make us more suitable for the purpose of mining gold, and they enslaved

humans to go out and mine gold. And now, according to the interpretations of sichen, that's because that well, gold does have a lot of different wonderful uses, but one of them is that supposedly, if you have, say, an atmosphere on your planet that is going that's degrading, you can actually sprinkle gold dust in the atmosphere and it will reflect harmful radiation and it will reinforce a weakening atmosphere and save everybody on the planet. This is just

one of the theories that was brought up. I don't is that true. I don't know. I really don't know, but it does kind of help to explained possibly why that gold was so valuable from the very beginning of human history, if indeed it was because that it was valuable to these other beings. And you know, when you get into like this whole story of gold I mean for thousands of years, you know, all these cultures have

treasured it above all else. In the Bible, God commands that sacred things like the Arc of the Covenant be covered in gold. Why the wise men brought gold to baby Jesus. Why all of the world's most powerful leaders, like the Pharaohs would adorn themselves with gold necklaces, and these amazing gold caps were crafted and put onto the pyramids. And of course you hear a lot of talk about what we call the golden ratio and art which is

based on mass. And what's especially interesting when it comes to this idea that maybe gold was important to these ancient astronauts, is that, you know, even in modern times, when NASA sent this disc into space to last Forever that had all this information about humanity on it in case aliens ever found it. On the Voyager spacecraft, it

was covered in gold, called the Golden Record. I mean, there are other examples of this, and of course I've even read that I guess may I don't know if all of them, but many of the visors that astronauts wear have some kind of gold coating on them, because again, it's good at protecting them from harmful radiation. So there are all these interesting elements about space travel that may

also connect to the valuable properties of gold. So you know, we're talking about something here that it's not just about having beauty alone, but a real physical quality that makes gold a truly unique and durable and powerful substance. Well, I could just you know, go on and on with examples, but I decided to do an experiment with some real gold, all right, And when we come back from the break, of course, I'm going to tell you about it. And I'm actually going to save you some money because it's

not cheap to experiment with gold. So I spent the money on the gold, and I'll tell you what I did with it. But you know what, I do believe that money, and well money attracts money, gold attracts gold, and I think it's good karma to give cool things away. Just recently, I gave away this really amazing Zoltar machine. It's a big one. It's worth hundreds of dollars. Of course, you know, I have my Haunted Older City tour in

Nevada and that's where they make the Zoltars. But I bought this, I paid paid money for it and I gave it away for free to a lucky person, and all you have to do is subscribe to my E newsletter. Paranormal Podcast Network, and I will be right back. Welcome back to Strange Things on the iHeartRadio and Coast to Coast. I am Paranormal Podcast Network. I am your host, the Wizard of Weird, Joshua P. Lauren, beaming into your wormhole brain from my studio in Sin City, Las Vegas, Nevada, where every day is golden and every night is silver.

Gietato Zuome And one nice thing about being the Wizard of Weird, about being the host of this podcast is that, you know what it's if you If you think I'm crazy, it doesn't matter. I'm not running for off us, I'm not flying an airplane or driving a school bus. So if you think I'm nuts, it's okay. I don't care. And I'm telling you that because really, something about the idea that thousands of years ago aliens came here and manipulated human genes and turned us into gold mining slaves,

something about that rings true to me. I have no way of knowing, and I'm not going to pretend that I know, and I'm not going to say I believe that, but there's something about it that just so perfectly fills in some interesting gaps in our history that I think that that may be true. And of course, in my book The Secret Wisdom of Cucko Kahn, I explored that

concept some. In fact, you know, I recently did a show where I was talking about how that Over the years, I have pitched a lot of TV shows and some have been made and most not. But you know, it's it's pretty amazing when you pitch an idea for a show and the next thing you know, it's on a major TV channel. And Jim mars Man, he was just

such a great intelligent guy. And you know, we and I were close enough that back in the day, like he would come to North Carolina and crash at my house and then I crashed at his house in Texas and we went on tour together. We did TV shows together,

I mean, and he died in twenty seventeen. But in the years leading up to his death, we actually worked together to produce a treatment, which is a proposal for a TV series based on his book Alien Agenda, And there are a lot of people who were interested, but it just never quite took off. And then you know, when Jim died, well, I didn't feel inspired to continue

pursuing it. But you know, even though I don't want to produce TV stuff anymore, because I just I've done, been there, done that, I don't have the time, I've got the treatment. So if somebody out there listening, if you're in TV land, and you're a serious person with some serious street cred, then if you contact me, I might just send you the treatment for Alien Agenda. And of course, if you want to pursue it. I'll have to talk to Jim's family and everything, but I think

it would make an amazing TV series. But let's get back to yeah, the mystery of gold. Right. So I have never really been the kind of dude who wears a gold chain. And I don't know it just it never quite seemed like my style, you know, to wear gold chain. I dropped the paper here, so I did wonder, however, like why is it that you see so many rich

people wearing gold and especially gold chains? And granted, also I'm here in Las Vegas, and that changes the dynamic a little bit, But almost everywhere I go I see people wearing gold chains. And it doesn't have to be some rich person at the blackjack table or the crafts table. I mean, I'm talking like it could just be a waiter or you know, it's it's so prevalent and everybody loves that bling. And I started wondering, Okay, is it

true that maybe there's something to this this idea. It goes back to I guess law of attraction that gold it doesn't matter. I guess why we value it. We just know that we do. That's that's not debatable. So does gold attract more gold. And here I live in Nevada, which is the number one gold producing state in North America.

It's one of the top in the world. I believe the top four gold producers in the world are Russia, China, Australia, and then North America only because of Nevada, which is it's a little odd because they call this the silver state, but we produce more gold than anybody here. And so you have all of like the best gold people you can find in this part of the world, or they're all right here in Nevada. And so I said, Okay, I want to I want to get to the bottom

of this. I'm going to try this out. I'm going to buy a nice gold chain and I'm gonna spear amit with it and see if it really does seem to attract more fortune. And so the thing is, I knew nothing about how to determine the authenticity of gold, and I just always have this feeling when I walk into a store that sells gold that they're going to try to rip me off. It's just like it always

seemed like I don't know what I'm doing. But but guess what, just so happens that I know a master artisan who lives here in the US, and he's the guy who makes the electrum rings. And so I contacted him and I said, look, I want to buy a really nice like ten carrot chain. And you might say why ten carrot, Well, because gold is soft, as I said, so if you're gonna wear something like a chaine, especially a big chain, you want it to be durable. And so ten k is a much more durable version of

gold than if you had something that was hired. So I said, ten k is great. And that way, you know, I don't have to be so afraid I'm gonna something's going to happen to this thing when I'm out wearing it in public. So I said, look, can you hook me up with the real deal? He said absolutely. Now what I can tell you is that this chain does not come from China, all right, I will tell you that because I know just about everything you buy these days is made in China. This ain't a Chinese chain, okay.

And so this thing, I've got a twenty four inch ten carrot chain and it's the real deal. And even though I trust him absolutely, I still thought, like, if I'm going to talk about this, I want to go and have this independently tested. So I took this to an independent laboratory right here in Las Vegas, and they took it and they have it's basically like a spectrograph or something like that, where they hit this thing with a beam and they came back and they're like, Yep,

it's exactly what supposed to be. It's like, this is the real deal. This is the real goal chain. And then they tried to buy it from me. I was like, no, no, I'm not selling that. So this is the real deal. So I was like, okay, I know I've got a legit product here. Now it's time to start experimenting. So

here's the first thing I did. I took it to my laboratory here in Vegas, my laboratory where I have all my electrical stuff, my Tesla coils and everything, and I decided that I wanted to fire some high voltage electricity through it and basically kind of like wipe it clean of any other electromagnetic signatures that might be in there.

And maybe that just sounds like udo science to you, but you know, it reminds me of how like you could take a nail and the nail like a you know, like a metal nail, and it doesn't have any magnetic pull, it's not picking up paper clips. And then you can stroke it three or four times or more or ten times or whatever, stroke it over a magnet. All of a sudden, the nail becomes magnetized. It changes the properties, and now you can use it just like a magnet

and you can pick up paper clips. So I got my chain and I started blasting it using a Whimshurist generator, a Vandergraft generator, and yes, even some Tesla coil set up and just blasted this thing. And I think I did that for okay. So I did that probably for about thirty minutes. Then after I felt like I had sort of cleansed it by by polarizing it to some degree, or maybe un polarizing it. I just don't know. This

is an experiment. I put it in a warm bass in my laboratory, in my parisigmatics laboratory, and I played the money tone in the water and let it sit there in that tongue for twenty four hours. So this is a little different than just buying a gold chain and putting it on and walking out the door. I did all this stuff to it. Well, the next day I said, okay, let's see what happens. Vegas is a

big laboratory for good luck and good fortune. And I know that you probably think I'm just like the world's most degenerate gambler because I talk about gambling all the time, but I don't actually go out and gamble very often at all. I mainly just go out and do it if I want to experiment with things. And because again it's a it's a great laboratory. You know, when you go out to a casino, they don't have any interest

in twisting the odds in your favor. Okay, So so anyway, so I go out and uh, okay, well we're up on a break here. But the cool thing is I videotaped everything that happened to me while I was wearing this, And if you want to see some of it, go to therealgold Chain dot com. That's our e a L that's my website that I created. I put a video up there. It's like, I don't think it's more than five minutes long, and it'll show you the process that

I put this thing through. And then you'll actually see well, people like handing me piles of cash. When we come back, I'll tell you more about that, and then also how it kind of applies to what's happening in general right now within our economy, because you know, there is an effort going on right now to turn us into a cashless society, and that's something you might want to be prepared for. We'll dig into some of that and more when I come back here. It's an interesting topic for sure.

I'm Joshua pe Warren, and you're listening to Strange Things on the iHeartRadio and Coast to Coast I AM Paranormal Podcast Network, and I will be back after these important messages. Welcome back to Strange Things on the iHeart Radio and Coast to Coast AM Paranormal Podcast Network. I'm your host, Joshua Pee Warren, and this is the show where the unusual becomes usual. Now listen. Nobody likes the braggart. I

get that. And when I'm telling you these stories about how I go out and have all this luck and win money and stuff here in Vegas, I'm not telling you that because I'm trying to impress you. I'm telling you that because I'm trying to impress upon you. The idea that you might also be able to benefit from this. If you are a person who is interested in experimenting with gold, find yourself some legitimate gold, and you know, do whatever you think you should do to it in

order to magnify its power. Of course, that's why I videotaped what happened to me, so that if you go to the real gold chain dot com you can just watch the actual footage. And I am going to make a batch of these that are done exactly the same

way as I did mine. So if you do want to participate, well, at least you'll know if you're getting one of these from my website, you'll know it's the real deal, and you can go have it tested and all that if you have any doubts, and you'll know that you know you're not getting scammed or ripped off. But regardless of whether or not you get one from my laboratory. And I'm only gonna do this for it as an experiment, because I want to see if other

people have similar experiences. I understand gold's expensive, and if you can't, you know, if you don't have some gold, then you know, maybe you can go out and find a smaller amount of gold that you can experiment with as well. But here's one of the things that makes

a big difference to me. I realized that when I was buying the gold chain, the original one that I experimented with, I almost felt like I actually wasn't spending money because gold just keeps going up in value, so it's almost like you're not actually buying anything, you're making money. I mean, in the year two thousand, an ounce of gold was worth two hundred and seventy nine dollars, and right now as I'm recording this, that same ounce is

worth well over two thousand dollars. It's probably over twenty five hundred at this point. So if you had a time machine and you can go back to the year two thousand and buy a bunch of gold up, think of how happy you would be right now. So scientifically, here's what I can tell. I don't understand exactly what's happening here and how this works. All I know is that a lot of rich people wear gold, and when I I did this and I wore it, then sure

enough it was just like not just gambling. Though I got to check out of the blue for a very large amount of money. I'm and you'll see that in the video. I won a raffle. I like it. It was not just gambling. It was like just good stuff started coming to me. And maybe it's the mindset. I don't know. Even if it's one of those things where

it's the world's greatest place, ebo. Fine, but I'm studying this, and uh, I'm trying to get deeper into the mystery of gold and why this stuff has this ability, because it does seem to be more than just well, it's pretty and shiny and looks like the aurora or whatever. So you know, obviously though, since gold fluctuates, the price

goes up and down and up and down. I mean, like, if you're lucky enough to get one of those chains, whether you get a real piece of gold for me or you get it somewhere else, if you're lucky enough to get a real one, then you better hang on to it because that it's just I believe it's just going to continue rising in value. And you've heard that your whole life, so it's a heck of an investment. And also, I've never okay, I did something recently that

I've never done in my entire life. I've never been a big sports guy. I mean when I was in school, you know, I played some sports here and there, but I was never any remarkable athlete, and so I have never really just been enthusiastic about going out and experiencing sporting events. But literally less than fifteen minutes from my house here in Las Vegas is Allegiance State, which is where they held the last Super Bowl. Allegiate stadium was just built several years ago and it holds sixty five

thousand people. They can expand it if they want to hold more, like I think, well over seventy thousand if they make some adjustments. And in my whole life, I had never been to an NFL game. I'm talking football, and for those of you who listen around the world, I mean American football. I know that in other places they call what we call soccer, they might call football, but I'm talking American football. And so I decided to know, you know, this place that's down the road for me,

I've never even been there for anything. I want to see what the stadium's like. So I got online and I bought tickets for myself and Lauren to go see the Las Vegas Raiders. They used to be the la Raiders, but then they moved to Vegas, so it's now the Vegas Raiders play the San Francisco forty nine ers, and apparently they have some kind of a rivalry because I guess they're both from California. So I said this would be cool, and so I said to Lauren, I bought

the tickets. And you know, they claim that these are some of the most expensive tickets in the whole NFL for some reason, these Raider games here in Vegas. But it's a big, nice stadium. So I bought the tickets and I said to Lauren to tell you watch. Maybe this is stupid, but I am going to place a bet on one of the teams, which one I think is going to win, and that bet, if I win, will be enough to cover the price of the tickets. So it will be like we to go to this

NFL game for free. How smart is that? Of course, if I lose, then it's going to really suck because I will have spent a lot more than the tickets are worth. So that was my brilliant plan. I'm gonna I just have to win, that's all, and then it'll be like, you know, free experience. So anyway, the day came around. This is actually less than a week ago, and so we got into an uber because we knew we were going to enjoy ourselves and be drinking and

stuff like that. So we got an uber. And one thing that I realized right up front though, as I was doing research about, like, well, what is it like to go to the stadium? How easy is it to get in and out? They can hold again at least sixty five thousand people, and they said no cash whatsoever.

Everything has to be done on a card. And I understand the convenience of that in many ways, but I also realized that this is the direction that we're heading as a global society, trying to move into this like cashless digital thing, and that should make everybody a little nervous because that means that all your money is going to be on a computer somewhere, and if one day that computer messes up, well, what are you going to do about it? Well, everybody has so much faith in

technology it's scary. And so that's why, you know, one of the reasons I was thinking about this. At least gold is a physical thing that has some intrinsic value, So Anyway, I don't usually talk about sports on this show, so give me a pass on this one, all right, because this was interesting that we got off, and I will tell you it was a beautiful day. It was a Friday, and the uber dropped us off within very

close walking distance. I was concerned it was going to be a headache to get into this place with all these crowds, and it turns out that it was actually quite easy to get in and out. They had a lot of entry points open, and then once we got in there, we were able to find our seats pretty easily. They can have a little better labeling of the seating sections, but we had a great view of the entire field

and everybody was very nice. They had great helpers and customer service people all over the place that were very friendly and kind and would give you any information you wanted. It was extremely secure. There was there are you know, cops all over the place, and everything was clean. I mean, it actually turned out to be a very positive, impressive eperience.

And of course after we got our seat, we got up and we're like, okay, well let's just go do the traditional Let's get some hot dogs and nachos and cheese and a couple of beers, and so anyway, then the game starts. All right, so here we are sitting there, and of course it is annoying when you have people that are just screaming their heads off all the time.

You can see I'm getting I'm getting a little old now, you know, I'm I'm pushing the boundaries toward fifty there, so you know that's I can do without all the screaming constantly. So anyway, the game starts and the team that I bet on, I'm not going to tell you who it was, but the team that I bet on was just slaughtering the other team. I'm like yes, And I was like, man, I think I'm going to go on my app here, my sports betting app and maybe even bet more money. But but by halftime, scores were

much much closer. Some surprising things happened. We have to take a break. When we come back, I'll tell you how that turned out. And then I want to share a story with you that I got from a listener about something really well thought provoking that happened to him at his house after he did a magic ritual, and it raises a very interesting question about our Society. I'm Joshua wa Pee Warren. You're listening to Strange Things on the iHeartRadio and Ghost to Coast AM Paranormal Podcast Network,

and I will be right back. Welcome back to the final segment of this edition of Strange Things on the iHeartRadio and Coast to Coast AM Paranormal Podcast Network. I am your host, Joshua P. Warren. And if you are going to do something to manifest good fortune or wealth, it's true that you need to do it quickly. You

have to strike when the iron is hot. As they say, my buddy Tom Rillock says, quote the subconscious mind tends to thwart your plans in quote, meaning that sometimes if you wait too long, then all of a sudden, these doubts and this kind of self sabotage happens. One of my favorite authors, Joe Vially says money loves speed. So remember those things. The subconscious mind tends to thwart your

plans and money loves speed. So if you feel compelled to do something that you think is going to manifest something positive for you and change your life, do it like that. Just be decisive. I remember I think it was while Bill Hiccock It was asked one time how he survived so many gunfights he was an old gunslinger in the Old West, and he said, just decisiveness. He said, most men would freeze up at the last moment, and he goes, I made up my mind I was going

to do it, and I did it. So at the football game halftime, uh again, I mean they were pretty close. And then, let me just tell you, it was one of those situations where again the Raiders are playing the forty nine ers. I got a significant amount of money on it, enough money that if I win, it's going

to cover the cost of my tickets. And so there was some tension there, and at the last minute there was one of these kind of crazy, miraculous things that happened, which if you watch sports, you know what I'm talking about. And they tied. The two teams tied, and then I learned something new that day about the NFL, because ordinarily, when two teams are tied at the end of the football game in American football, then they go into overtime and they play a little bit longer until one team

or the other wins. But it turns out that this was the last of what they call a preseason game because the official season wasn't in just yet. And so what that means is that they decided just a few years ago that in preseason games, if they tie at the end, that's the end of the game. They're tied, there's no overtime. And so I'm going, okay, well, what does that mean for my bet? They tied? Everybody's hugging. Well, turns out I just got my bet returned to me

by the sports betting app. So I did not win, nor did I lose. And if you are somebody who bets on sports, maybe you knew that. But if not, now you know that if you bet on a preseason NFL game and they tie, nobody wins or loses anything. So sorry if you're not at all into sports, and I'm totally bored you with that, but you can see why that. Since this place is down the road from my house, I had to go and try it out. And again, I had a fun time, had a good time.

I don't know, you know, I have no plans to go back and do it again, but I'm happy to say that I went to an NFL game. All right, let's go to the emails. Here is one from a man in Virginia. And you know, I could probably give his name out and he'd probably be okay with it. But I'm not one hundred percent sure, so I'm not going to do that. But I guarantee you that this is legit and I know who he is, and he said. One of my friends called me one evening. He was

having issues. He was going through a bad patch with his wife and they were separating. She was an alcoholic and a drug addict and was threatening violence to come and hurt him and the children. He was very concerned. He asked me to do a reading for him, or to see something for him, as he knew I once had the ability to do such things. It had been many, many years since I had done anything like that, and I really never did develop any great skill in it.

I didn't enjoy doing it, and I told him so, but I also told him that I would do so to see if I could help him. Now. There was much anxiety in doing this. It had been many years again since I had done such things. I don't generally do such things, and I prepared the gear. I have certain objects that I like to keep around for when

I actually do real working. Many of these needed a bit of polishing and care before I did so, so I spent a few minutes polishing and cleaning my torque, my triscual, various things, and also got out the wand this was actually a very special electrum. Tipped you Wand I started my binding ritual in the usual fashion. The intent and purpose of the working was to have her just turn herself in peacefully and seek the mental help that she required. And I felt really good about the binding.

I felt that it had worked. I also felt to myself, this is me? Where have I been all these years? I was kind of reveling in the post ritual glow and putting away my things when something very very odd happened. Let me pause for a moment and say, that's I've never heard anybody talk about the post ritual glow before, but I liked that phrase. It reminds me of something else. All right, let's continue. Not five minutes after the complete not five minutes after the completion of my ritual, bright

lights and helicopter appeared outside of my house. They were shining the lights directly down into my yard and on my house. We did not hear it. It just popped up out of nowhere. Generally we can hear those things for several miles before before they fly over, and this one literally did just come out of nowhere. It hovered out there for three or four minutes, shining its lights down into our yard, and then just as quickly and quietly as it came, it was gone. It was the

strangest thing. Does this mean that they monitor such activity? I don't know, but it was quite odd. The results of the binding. It was successful, no harm was done, and she turned herself in by the morning. Wow, what an interesting message. Thank you sir, you know who you are. Thank you for sending that. I wrote him back, and

I said, this is a good story, all right. I personally, I have a feeling that we're either being consciously monitored or that the energy we create produces some synchronicities that attract them to us. And this is a very complex and weird idea. But as soon as I read his message, and he also followed up and told me about a second occasion in which something like this happened, it reminded me of this experience I had. This was many years ago,

at least fifteen. I was living at the top of a hill in North Carolina, out in the countryside, and I had a bunch of friends over. As a matter of fact, Mikah Hanks was there. You might know Michah Hanks. His brother Caleb was there. And I had gone out into my front yard that evening with a Chinese lantern,

and you probably know what that is. It's it's sort of like a paper balloon, and then you light a little candle and it heats the balloon up and it becomes like a little hot air balloon and it floats off into the sky and it's absolutely amazing. And so I said, hey, let's go set off this, you know,

this Chinese lantern. So we went outside and I lit the thing and I let go of it, and it drifted off higher and higher into the sky and we just watched it just become a tiny, tiny dim light until it was gone, and I thought, I hope that doesn't come down and burn somebody's house, but you know, they never do it. And then right after that thing disappeared, black helicopter comes flying over the house, crazy, shaking everything, shining lights. I was like, oh my gosh, I've maybe

I've messed up somehow. Right then the helicopter flies away, and then about one minute later, I kid you not, I swear this is true, the Chinese balloon reappears, and it gets bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger, and it's circling back, and it's dropping an elevation and dropping an altitude, and it's coming back toward us. And I reached up and plucked it from the sky before it

ever hit the ground. Now you explain that I don't know what that means, but that was one of the freakiest experiences I've ever had, and that I swear it is true. All right, my friends, it's that time. Take a deep breath, if you can close your eyes, let's all meditate together on the good Fortune tone. That's it for this edition of the show.
