Episode description

Welcome to The Agent Edge: Episode 17!

In this podcast episode, we are joined by Luke Ebbin, a seven-time Grammy-nominated producer and songwriter turned REALTOR®. Luke works out of the Montecito office and has been selling real estate since 2005.

About two years ago, Luke decided to make a lifestyle change and step away from the music scene in Los Angeles to be closer to home and his family. He is now able to pursue a full-time passion that he has had since he was a young, struggling musician in New York City: real estate.

In this show, Luke shares the similarities between the music and real estate industries and proves that anyone can switch to a career in real estate, no matter what they were doing before.

You'll also learn:

  • Why Luke doesn't hide the fact that he was in the music industry for 25 years
  • That some people had negative reactions to his complete change in career, and how he has worked to shift that perception
  • Which famous rock artist kick-started Luke's producing career
  • His predictions for the Santa Barbara real estate market
  • Luke's advice for those transitioning from one career to a career in real estate
