Episode description

Lee Strobel's new book The Case for Miracles, is getting some attention, even in the news. In this episode I go through the interview as I noticed some comments and claims that I felt should be addressed. Does God really perform miracles and is it consistent with what the Bible says? I have often been compared to him as I question and search for anyone with any evidence to support the claim. Strobel, had tried to prove God didn't exist and became a Christian, I aimed to prove God does exist and became an atheist. Faith and belief are not reliable methods for determining the truth or evidence that could lead to a testable hypothesis or theory. I am often asked, what evidence do I need? If God is intervening within our laws of physics, since the situation is in our reality of physics, then by that law any intervention should be testable and measurable and we should be able to observe and definitively discern that it was God, the one of this bible that did it. Otherwise, we don't even know if it is the Christian God, the Jewish one, the hindu one and so on. How do we know it is even a God or Angel? Without any explanation there can not therefore be an explanation, especially one that points to God. Only if by thought, therefore it is. That is how you make a belief (make believe).
