Family Dysfunction

I question why people believe what they do

Based on the meme circulating social media, Peter 1 9-8. If this is any proclamation that there is really not a God or Jesus and is merely saying that you are rewarded by the mere hope or belief of one based on faith, than it Is clearly saying there isn't anything there. But if you wish for it to be there than it is. Well than that is human thought and behavior and has nothing to do with a God. What are your thoughts or questions? I'd like to hear them.
