Episode description

Starting out with an interest in photography, actor Jessica Pohly says that both art forms allow us to catch a glimpse into the lives of others. Growing up in New York and after working extensively in theater, Jessica bought a round-trip ticket to LA where she stumbled upon a show at the comedy training program The Groundlings and never looked back. From drama to comedy, you've seen her in "Fargo," "Pee-wee's Big Holiday," "Grand Crew," "Modern Family," "Huge in France" and as a Main Company member at The Groundlings. Today, we discuss how to honor the writer's work in your audition, making bold choices that are rooted in story, and finding out who you are as an actor before seeking your dream reps.
