Can GIS technology be used to improve urban planning, governance and development? Dr HS Sudhira joins Pavan Srinath on Episode 35 of the Thale-Harate Kannada Podcast to explain mapping technologies and various aspects of how Bengaluru is governed.

Dr HS Sudhira got his PhD from the Indian Institute of Science, and started Gubbi Labs, a research collective based out of Gubbi, near Tumkur. Gubbi Labs conducts research, workshops and consulting on a host of issues ranging from mapping, urban planning, environmental conservation and more.
