A stereotype is a generalization about the members of a group. It is often a widely held impression or belief relative to a type of thing. In today’s world, generalizing and stereotyping is generally considered to be a bad, ignorant and even shameful thing to do. It is not politically correct. But today, I’m going to explain why the baby of generalizing shouldn’t be thrown out with the bathwater of generalizing.
