盡己章第三十三知人者智，自知者明。勝人者有力，自勝者強。知足者富。強行者有志。不失其所者久。死而不亡者壽。
第 三 十 三 章
知 人 者 智 ， 自 知 者 明 。
胜 人 者 有 力 ， 自 胜 者 强 。
知 足 者 富 。
强 行 者 有 志 。
不 失 其 所 者 久 。
死 而 不 亡 者 寿 。
Dì sānshísān zhāng
zhīrén zhě zhì, zì zhì zhě míng. Shèng rén zhě yǒulì, zì shèng zhě qiáng. Zhīzú zhě fù. Qiángxíng zhě yǒuzhì. Bù shī qí suǒ zhě jiǔ. Sǐ ér bù wángzhě shòu.
33. Virtues
Who understands the world is learned;
Who understands the self is enlightened.
Who conquers the world has strength;
Who conquers the self has harmony.
Who is determined has purpose;
Who is contented has wealth.
Who defends his home may long endure;
Who surrenders his home may long survive it.
能识透别人，算有智慧；能识透自己，才有光明。
能战胜别人，算有力量；能战胜自己，才是真强。
知足的人富有。
攻克己身、顺道而行的人有志气。
持守本相、不失不离的人可以长久。
肉身虽死、生命活着的人才叫长生。
