We chat about the female body's intrinsic desire for rest during cyclical winter & what this actually looks like when we implement SPACIOUSNESS into our luteal & menstrual phases & the importance of this rest, biologically. We touch on the topic of FAM (Fertility Awareness Method) of which Izzy is a certified teacher. FAM is a natural form of birth control, one in which you are taught to take full radical responsibility for your health & fertility cycles by learning to accurately track your menstrual cycle & learning the difference between the fertile vs non fertile stages, by paying attention to the 3 biomarkers of body basal temperature, cervical fluid & cervix position. Lastly we touch on Izzy's new found love & certification in Yoga Nidra and the all the amazing benefits this ancient practice of mindfulness & deep rest, provides one physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually.
