Passage: Colossians 4:15-18 As we end our study of this wonderful epistle, Paul will write of four final things. He has a final greeting, a final admonition, a final warning and a final prayer request.
Passage: Colossians 4:12-14 In this lesson, we will consider the second listing of men who helped Paul. We might call them “hidden heroes of the faith”. Too often we come to their names in Scripture and gloss over them because we deem them as unessential, but my friend they are not.
Passage: Colossians 4:7-11 Without Paul’s partners in ministry, the work would not succeed as it did, and Paul knew that. Paul mentions 8 individuals who helped him; Real people with real character qualities that God divinely gave them for His glory, and to be partners in ministry with Paul.
Passage: Colossians 4:2-6 The Christian world is failing when it comes to sharing the gospel. We must get back to fulfilling the great commission that Christ left us to do. With that in mind, Paul will write as to how we pray for the lost, speak to the lost, and reach the lost.
Passage: Colossians 3:22-4:1 Elisabeth Elliott once said, “The principle cause of boredom is the hatred of work.” This should not be for God’s children. God has made us to work and Paul will give us helps and hints as he writes about our biblical responsibility to work as unto the Lord.
Passage: Colossians 3:19-21 The Christian home should be one where the lost world can look in and see a glimpse of Christ. Paul will write regarding the husband’s responsibility to the wife, the children’s responsibility to the parents, and the parent’s responsibility to the children.
