[00:00:00] James Breese: Strength Matters Media. Video. Print. Podcasts. Today's episode is

[00:00:06] Josh Kennedy: a case study all about how to rank higher on Google. And we're going to use one of our members, one of our clients, Samantha Attard to show you guys the work she's putting in by behind the scenes using her Ferrari, which is her CRM system to enable her to rank higher on Google.

[00:00:22] James, you've got some, you share your screen, show us what's, uh, what's going on, what she's been doing.

[00:00:28] James Breese: Yeah, I'll, I'll share the scene. I'll go before I share the screen. I think it gives, give a little bit of insight into this. Yeah, a bit of background. So, Sam came to us a while ago looking for a new website.

[00:00:37] It wasn't converting with leads. She spent a lot of money on the website, getting things done, but it just wasn't converting for her. So we had a look at it, we changed it, we implemented what we needed to do with it. And kind of following on from the previous episode, we talked about trying to give people a Ferrari, a Ferrari for a website.

[00:00:52] There's a lot of stuff that goes behind the scenes that you don't see technically. And the reason we do this technical stuff is, is because we want to give it the best possible [00:01:00] chance to rank higher on Google. Google is all about user experience, and you also need to communicate with Google to say that your website exists, and you need to upload it.

[00:01:09] certain, in certain ways to the online Tinterwebs to make sure it does rank you, it does find you, and it can find your content relevant for people. So we spent time with Sam getting the message right, taking time. Again, the website took a bit longer than usual because we built so many things behind the scenes.

[00:01:26] But now It's starting to cook on gas because in the last week or so, we've now put her blog out. She's loaded some blogs up and guess where they're now ranking. They're ranking number one on Google. So let's take you to her website. So if you're watching on YouTube, you can see this now with us live, but this is Sam's website and she obviously specializes in natural PMS and period pain.

[00:01:47] Period pain relief for her clients. That's a specialty. That's the message we drill down on. So if you go to her blog, she's only uploaded a few blogs. We're literally trying to take some of the old blogs from the old website to load them up here, but Here's what she's just [00:02:00] loaded recently, but bloat free split pea soup recipe and chakra for lungs.

[00:02:06] So, what has she done? She's just uploaded them, done some few techy stuff behind the scenes that we asked her to do, and look where it goes. So if I click on split pea soup recipe, no gas, Look what comes up here. Top left. Right. This is the new Google search system, right? This is part AI generated how they're applying to it.

[00:02:27] Number one there. Scroll down. Number two here. All part of the same thing. So where are most people going to click on? When they come into Google to find contact content, stuff that ranks number one pictures important to absolutely super important. So the point is we're creating stuff for Google to find it.

[00:02:53] And we're going to create content that people are searching for. People are searching for split pea soup recipe with no gas, right? Or [00:03:00] like bloat free split pea soup in this case here. So really important, we're talking to people how we're managing it. Now, the other thing she did was lung chakra. I don't really know what much of this stuff is.

[00:03:10] I'm learning more and more as I go along, if I'm being brutally honest. Look where she comes now, number one. But more importantly, look at this one, two, three links sub beneath it to help people find their content more. And if you do this on mobile, you actually get a more detailed explanation about this.

[00:03:28] It pops up even more because it shows the search results differently on both the pages. But she published this less than a week ago. Look where it's ranking up high. Why is it ranking high? is because the speed at which the page loads the authority, which she has in her domain. Now, the fact it's a healthy website with no toxic backlinks, nothing untoward whatsoever at all.

[00:03:51] And we're creating content that's easily readable by Google. Now, what do I mean by that? If I click on a chakra for lungs, [00:04:00] one of the things you have to do with your content is make it readable and digestible. So we have the reading time at the top, table of contents. Such a simple but most important thing you're going to do in your blog post so people can navigate it quickly.

[00:04:13] It's a tracker for lungs. We've got all these stuff down here. Now, she's still working on this to optimize it, right? That's the crazy thing. She's still working on this to optimize the look and the feel of it. But we've just posted it, it's already getting to the top. So we're adding a few bits of pieces.

[00:04:29] Table of contents is important. We have a conclusion, and we also have an FAQ section below, which we need to include in certain things to help people understand what it is they're doing. that talks to Google to help them understand what it is you're doing so they can show it to the right, relevant people.

[00:04:44] I hope I haven't been speaking Russian for the last couple of minutes. I'll bring Andrew or Josh in there to like, just, just to correct me and say, say what they see and just like go over a couple of things potentially. Yeah, Andrew, uh,

[00:04:54] Josh Kennedy: you

[00:04:55] Andrew Wallis: go for it. Okay. What I love about this is, uh, well firstly, uh, [00:05:00] Sam's Thirst for knowledge and she takes action, you know, we've had conversations with her.

[00:05:05] We've got the website up and running for her and she's gone and took action equally just on this screen here because the website is so new with the, with the, uh, the revised website. We'll put together for it. She hasn't got any reviews in there yet. We're still. As you said, still working on getting all the fundamental elements in place.

[00:05:28] So that's just going to play into our hands even more as the reviews are added. But it just goes to show that if we follow the framework, we deliver good quality content to using keywords that we know that prospects are looking for. And we show to the Google that we understand what Google's after. And we merge the two in perfect synergy, how quickly you can rank and looking at this, for [00:06:00] example, 3.

[00:06:00] 6 million results. And Sam's website is appearing at the top, both here as a, as an image, and then in the organic search. Results below, then she's going to grab significant traffic from just these 2, um, uh, blog posts as she builds out further blog posts. She's going to have, she's going to have even more folks coming to her site,

[00:06:27] James Breese: which is fantastic.

[00:06:28] Exactly. And that's, that's the thing, you know, is like. We're creating content around her main topics. Her main goal is to help, uh, help women, you know, relieve their pain from period pain relief and also PMS, right? That's where, you know, anything to do with mental strife, that's where she specializes and that's what she works on.

[00:06:45] What we're doing is now is people are searching for stuff around that topic. They don't necessarily know they need her help yet, but they're searching for stuff around it they think, which is like bloat free split pea soup, right? As an example, it's what people are searching for, for this. So they're going to go to this recipe and go, well, this is really [00:07:00] cool.

[00:07:00] They're going to try it out, get an idea of how it goes. They like it. Oh, they're going to check out more of Sam's work. It starts the journey, the conversation of a cold prospect into a warm prospect and to potentially a client at some point. So you, if you want people to come to you, and that's what it's all about, right?

[00:07:18] Yeah, exactly. And you,

[00:07:19] Josh Kennedy: ranking high and getting clients

[00:07:22] James Breese: and getting clients. That's our ultimate goal. But to do it. They're going to be searching for stuff that's relevant to their needs. You introduce them to your world, and then you start to educate them how you can do things, and then they convert. So it's all about this journey, and people find your website through content that's helpful and useful, that solves problems for them.

[00:07:41] They're not going to come to your website and just buy from you straight away. And that's what most websites are set up for, particularly in the health and fitness industry. Buy from me, buy from me, buy from me. Unless you're helpful, it ain't going to work. Ain't going to work whatsoever at all. So you've got to be helpful, create content like this, drive them to you to have a strategy call potentially, and [00:08:00] then you start to build clients and leads that way.

[00:08:02] And this is a really good example of what happens when you have a Ferrari for a website that's fast, optimized for Google, and works well when you create content. Google will love you for it. Exactly.

[00:08:14] Josh Kennedy: And I think we're going to do an episode all about why you need helpful content potentially next, but there you go.
