Episode description

One of the fun things that happens as we age is the lengthening of the upper lip. We see less of the upper teeth and more of the lower lip because the lower lip simultaneously drops. I can help this somewhat with injection of filling material, but a new procedure removes a sliver of upper lip skin right where it meets the nose. This procedure gives an added bonus to your rhinoplasty. We also discussed pediatric surgery, another death from a nonphysician injecting silicone into the buttocks, and Botox's new indication for horizontal forehead wrinkles.
