Episode description

Over the last couple of days with intense Coronavirus reports I’ve fallen into the fear trapp over and over again and it’s taken many forms; “Why is the government so weak?!“, “This is nothing to worry about, it’s fine.“, “People are so stupid, they don’t understand how serious this is.“, “How will this affect the world economy?“. “Am I in danger?“, “Are my loved once in danger?” Images of overcrowded hospitals, empty streets and sitting at home without any food to eat pop up. Reality starts to blend with apocalypse fantasies from movies and books. I feel the urge to repost the article that fueled the fire of anger and fear. “Politicians are so stupid, everyone should know!” But is it helpful? At by best, I bite my tongue and remind myself of where I am, where I’m acting from. Is it love or fear? Through practising gratitude I find my connection to love and to my heart strengthen. This helps me move out of the fear-trap and into a space where constructive action becomes more tangable, “How can I help?” becomes the natural respons. To me, this is helpful and I invite all of you to try if it’s also helpful to you.
