Episode description

Stacy & Stacy discuss the optional Gospel reading for the Memorial of St. Paul of the Cross found in Matthew 16, "Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me." What does that mean? How do we know God is with us when we suffer and take up our crosses? They turn then to the beginning of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and read the two ways to know God, through nature and through our humanity. These fundamental teachings are the foundation of a life of faith.
