Welcome to the Sounders f C pre mat Show presented by Providence Swedish tonight from the Emerald Queen Casino Fitch at Lumenfield, your Seattle Sounders FC faced New England Revolution. Tonight's match is presented by Boeing, a proud partner of Sounders FC and the Fugit Sound Community. The Provident Swedish premat show starts now well. Three straight home wins, ten points in the last four games, and your Seattle Sounders found themselves in a much better position than just about a month ago.

Today, the Ray Green back here at hot and sunny Lumenfield. It is as warm in the booth as the team has been over these last four games, and they have to keep things rolling here tonight at Lumen against the visiting New England Revolution. So with that, welcome in to the Sounders FC pre match Show presented by Providence Swedish, official healthcare partner of Seattle Sounders FC. Jackson Felter in the booth alongside Chance Fry and Kellen Rowe. We will

be joined from Diego Audio here in a little bit. He's calling the game for Apple TV and we will be counting you down to kickoff here on the Providence Sweets prematch show for Sounders and Revolution. Danny Jackson, Steve Zachlani on the call here coming up just about a little over in a half hour from right now. Tonight's match is presented by Boeing, a proud partner of Sounders

FC and the Puget Sound community. But gentlemen, as we start today, we always kind of look back a little bit, and there's lots to look back to on the positive side, you know, on one side, comeback wins after comeback wins, and Houston even the comeback and all the results we're getting at home. The points are great. It's a little bit frustrating that we aren't getting it right from the jump and we're having to come back in

these games. But you know, chance, it really does feel like, you know, classic Sounders in these comeback games, finding ways and getting results. And it's just been i mean, from Dallas to Chicago last week, it's been consistent. Three points, three points, three points here at home. Yeah, it's classic, and it's consistent with what we've done in the past. But I think tonight's a great night for us to change that narrative

and to get goals and to get a comfortable game under our belt. That would be great because when you're trying to either come back or win games late, that can wear on you, all right, and it's tough. And the teams have done great out in the past of doing that and winning, but you know, you don't want to go into the playoffs deep or into the end of the season deep and be having that all those tough games under

your belt. Look, when you go through these stretches of games and you want to create a streak, especially in the second half of the season, you don't want it to be as chaotic as emotional as it is because, like you said, it drains on you a little bit. It takes a little bit more time to recover from that huge high or that huge low.

So can we find a way to keep it steady, steady eddy across the field and pull out really a ninety minute performance if they've we've been waiting for all year, And it does feel like New England's one of these teams that has seen the high highs and the low lows. Where they started in such

a cavernous area and now five wins in their last six games. They're riding much much higher right now, So you know, if they are on this emotional swing obviously flying out here to the West Coast, we hope we can kind of catch them in a bunch of these things. We'll talk about the reps a little bit later on, but we got to get to because there is a couple of slight things that are going on with the Brian Schmenz's lineup tonight, a lot of things to discuss, So let's dig in and let's

get to the delta. Starting eleven for the Seattle Sounders chance, Okay, we've got our stalwart goalkeeper Stephen Fry starting for us. At the back, Christian Rodin, Jackson Reagan, Jemar and Newho and throughout the midfield Vargas, Ga Pallo, Paul Rothrock Rusnak and Leo Chu and then up top leading the line as Jordan Morris. Okay, and I'm happy to tell you that Roller, Roy Diaz, Pedrodal le Vega, both of those guys, among some

others on the bench tonight for your Sounders available for the second half. We'll talk about more about them in the halftime show later on. But for Kellen New England, the former New England team obviously that you spent many years with. You know some of these guys, what is the Caleb Porter in the

Revolution putting out some nights. Caleb brings out an end goal. He's got Ivacic, He's got in the back line coming back from an ACL injury, Brandan Bay on the right, Javier Ariaga, who everyone here knows in the center, with Dave Romney and Dwan Jones coming out with that left back spot. Matt Polster wearing the captain arm band is the number six, Ian Harks

and Noah Buck. You have zmir by Rek Tarovich and Dylan Barrero also coming back from that ACL injury of last year, as well as Giacomo Veroni. A bunch of guys they're getting back from injury tonight to just happen to work out. They still have Carlos Heel, They're amazing. Number ten, who is obviously an MVP candidate every year when he's healthy there with New England. He's still out with a lower leg injury. Really quick, speaking of injuries,

diving into the Providence Swedish team health reports. One player on the report for your Sounders a Spadeler Rodriguez with a hamstring but that's it. Nobody else on the injury report. Sounders are as healthy as they have been all year long. And you know, for for this lineup here chance, I think the word that is going to come to me as we kind of begin breaking

down this line up. His opportunity and let's start with Paul Rothrock, the opportunity for Paul Rothrock after you know, these last few performances, earning himself a start tonight. Yeah, I mean, Schmidt said it today. I mean he's almost forcing his hand to to play him. He come in. We're young, is doing well, and that's what you want to do. I mean, we've all done it as young players, and if you want to stick around, you have to take advantage when you have your opportunity.

Look, he's a guy that's taken a spot away from big name players. You know, he Jordan Morris, if he comes outside, I'm not sure I'm playing him. I'm wide I'm playing Paul Rothrock right now, Christian roll Dan is coming out of position to play right back because they want to put Paul Rothrock on the field. Da la Vega coming in off injury and instead

of starting him tonight, he's playing Paul Rothrock. He's leaving these big these big number guys, these big name guys on the bench or in different positions. Now he's got to take this opportunity. Can this be that Paul Rothrock show tonight, because it's interesting too, in the form of an opportunity. Christian Rodan starting it right back, you know, puts him and Alex into

a little bit of a competition right now. It's it's and also it's a fact that they play on Tuesday in the US Open Cup at Sacramento in a match that maybe one hundred and twenty degrees for all we know on the field by the time that because temperatures are just scorching, it's gonna be ninety six here in Seattle on Tuesday. So Brian Schmitzer chance has to have a I on Tuesday. And understand, okay, you know this is a quarterfinal of the Open Cup. I need to make sure I have some horses going in

that game, some you know, some key senior players. And that is apparently, as we gotta look here, making its way into tonight's lineup by just showing a little tidbits of where Brian Schmitzer thinks he can go on Tuesday. Yeah, I'm sure he's thinking about Tuesday, but tonight's tonight. Yeah, tonight's much more important. We need to get the win tonight, to

get the three points. That is much more important than Tuesday. I know they think ahead and try to you know, rest players and all that kind of stuff, But tonight is where we need to get the win, and then we'll think about Tuesday. And there's plenty of players, plenty of players, and plenty of elects. Callen, obviously you're you're a freaking workhorse on the field, But I imagine this is a situation where you're saying, I don't care how many games there are. If you're I'm a starter, I

want to start every single one of them. I don't care how hot it is or wherever it is. Oh, look, you want to play. Everyone wants to play, everyone wants to be around. The game is a Tuesday, so it's a little bit shorter than a midweek game that you have only a few more days. But for me, I'm looking at a Leo Chew and Paul Rothrock where it's an easy position to start them on Tuesday, where it's not the MLS game, where it's it may be more of a

rotational game now. You know, Spencer's sending a message of look, I'm gonna play you in the big game at home with everyone here, every you know, this is our starting lineup. I want you to perform, and it's an easy one to play them on Tuesday. I think it's sending them a message that if you want to be here, this is your time. It's an opportunity for sure. You mentioned Leo Chu, and you know, just watching Leo two and these opportunities he's gotten gonna start, start and start

again. You know we're seeing it. I just you know, for years, I feel like I've been kind of saying the same thing, which is just like, all right, you have so much speed, you have so much pace, you have so much athleticism, and you clearly like running at guys chance. I just want to see it more from Leo Chu. And because it's clear the package is there, I just want to see him run back a little bit extra. Yeah, I mean you want to see that.

But as a coach, Brian wants to see consistency. Yeah. He wants to be able to look at his lineup or look down his list of players and know what he can get out of each one of those players day in and day out. And the fact of the matter is that Leo has been up and down. Right, He's been great at times and then he hasn't been great. But if he gets consistent, uh, he could be a very important part of the team. Look, I think I'm gonna combat

that because I know how much running it actually is. When he has to coach to go and go, I don't do any running. Yeah, I know. I can feel my heart beating out of my chest and I'm get told to run again. It's like, oh no, but no for me, it's we all see the quality of Layo. He's incredible. He can have the one two touch if he wants, but he can take players on. He's got a good time where last year him and Jordan combined for like

nine goals. It was incredible. Can we find that old Layo? But I'm gonna put it on the teammates now is how can you pick up Layo when he's on the downs. It's hard to come back from the injuries, continuously not playing and you're finally getting a chance to start, and if you mess up, it's like, oh gosh, I'm back on the bench. Now can his teammates be the one to pick him up? Well, big opportunities for your wingers tonight for the Sounders obviously, Jordan Morris has been riding

high roosnack of course with the two penalties. He's on a tear right now. Three goals, nine assists. Sounders are feeling good. Ten points in the last four, three straight home wins. We'll see if they can make it four tonight against the New England Revolution. We are just about twenty eight minutes away from kickoff here at Edmond's Casino Pitch at Luminfield. Today's kind of a kickoff is presented by emerald' quen Casino, the entertainment capital of the Northwest.

We'll take a break, we'll come back and will we joined from Diego AUDIOA and we'll talk about this New England Revolution team that you guys know so well on You know that they're coming back from injuries and they're bringing a squad to talent that certainly five wins in the last six games, Seattle has to worry about more. Wassican Lens, the official LSIA provider of Sounders FC. Okay, New England Revolution. One month ago, this team was last place in the Eastern Conference. Terrible really twenty twenty four. Nothing was going right for head coach Caleb Porter, and then they turned it all around. Two to one win over Nashville, one nothing win over New York Red Bulls, three two win over the White CAFs, two on win in Cincinnati, and then just recently on

Wednesday at two one win over Atlanta sandwiched in. There was also a five to one loss to Columbus last Saturday. But Callen Road, diego Chance. I mean, this is a New England team, Callen obviously that you know very well, and five wins in the last six. They're coming to Seattle with a lot of confidence, a lot of confidence. And I would say

I would take away that I'd call it a fluke against Columbus. Yeah, they had such a good June, and for me, the fact that they came out in July first game and got a win that that game was now called a fluke and this team is on a run and no matter the injuries that they have, obviously they're gonna be switching some players around, but they're a quality team who have fought in to Caleb Porter system and is starting to

work down. Yeah, it's a good team that especially getting important win is week right at midweek, and we have to consider what can Jackie mcverrni can do. He scored two goals in the game against Atlanta and I think today even Kelly Portal was mentioning during the week that they're going to try to be compact, to stay compacted. Probably don't have a lot of possession, but

they know that in transition that's when they could create some damage. And we've seen with teams that really are enclosed at LUNIN that they can be dangerous for they sales sounder, especially at that corner. If you look at just the numbers and you look at all time, it's even you look at their records this year very close. The last five games are very close. The only

thing that really jumps out is the goal differential. They have ten more goals against them in two less games than we have, so That's the one thing that sort of jumped out of me, was hoping that we can capitalize on some of our good attacks and get goals against them. But I think it's going to be a tough game. Yeah, they're They're minus sixteen goal differential is the second worst than MLS. I believe it's the worst in the Eastern

Conference. Now I'm wondering Kellen for me again, looking at the numbers right now, Jacomo Veroni seven goals, you know, leads them. They don't have Carlos heel As as a ignorant observer who doesn't know to any things about soccer as much as I do. I'm kind of looking this saying, gosh, if you can just shut down him, the numbers aren't there for a lot of these other players. It seems like if you kind of shut him down from scoring, you're going to be able to get a result tonight.

But New England seemingly has some other talent. You think in this lineup. There's so much talent in this lineup, and there's also a lot of youthful talent, meaning a lot of youthful running. For me, obviously, it's great for the Sounders. At the fact that Carly sial is not here and he's not able to play because he was the one setting up Roni for a lot of his goals. However, there is quality in this midfield. There's youth in this midfield. I like seeing the Matt Polster, who's gonna sit

and be that anchor. You're gonna have Noah Buck who is exciting, youthful, gonna be willing to shoot from outside asmer as well. And then obviously Perrero coming through, who's going to be exciting, taking players one on one and always going to be dangerous. And that's something that, like Chance said, people will get that on it. When they do defend, they're going to get that counter attack, and that's what's going to be exciting for the

Revolution and not so good for the Sounders. Yeah, no, I completely agree. I think definitely not having Carlos Hiale the playmaker is definitely a deficit for in England. But I like Borrero right, he's such a to your point, so exciting, so talented, and also in one of those transition moments he can be dangerous. Right. I think also for kilt Boro is his mindset of this game to me, is trying to get our result no

matter what, So it doesn't matter if they play well. They want to be compact sids a little bit and then always they have a theme team this week because they have injuries and they held also a midweek. So to me, if they can get as a Neil nail by the half, they're already winning this game, right for them. Yeah, if you think that you could just shut down Brioni and that's it, then could be looking at us

and go if we shut down Jordan, then that's it. And we all know that, at least on quality, we've got lots of goals that are in the midfield and around Jordan. So that's what I'm kind of looking at. I don't think you can ever look at one player because if you do, then somebody else is going to be taking advantage of that. We'll flip it around and think, Okay, if they're going to sit back, how

do we change our position because we have transition as well. You know, we're looking to transition up with Jordan Morris, with Lao Chu, with now Paul Rothrock. How could we break this team down? Do we have the players in the field to have been willing to do so? The patience, the quality that final ball. Can we find a rate around you know, blocks of forth Well, we'll see what the chess match is between Brian Schmetzer and Cayla Porter. We keep saying that name for those who may be leoning.

Why do I know that named Cayler Porter? Spent many years with the Pearland Timbers. Of course, never really had a great success in here in Seattle. Should be noted that was in the days where Portland and Seattle they kind of just owned the home side of the rivalry before this kind of flipped back. But calea Porter terrible record in Seattle, but the doacominad of listening. He has a long track record in MLS. Went to Columbus Crew afterwards.

Now here he is with a New England Revolution. He got the job last December after Bruce Arena was let go. There with New England. Well, we'll talk well, we'll talk more about the Sounders here coming up next we'll get to our Sounders FC players to watch. We're also going to try to fit in an interview with Joe Paulow. We just prematt show where the sun is setting on the eastern seats right now. We got a beautiful night for soccer, a little bit hot, but hopefully we see a little bit of a cooler evening on the field for Sounders and New England Revolution. Let's transition tonight and get to our Sounders FC players to watch Calen. We'll start with you

who you got tonight? I've got our man new who. Look, he's obviously gone through a lot this year. He's a solid player, but sometimes we've seen it on the field where he's a little bit out of his mind. So can he take that away? All the emotion, all the emotion of the game, all the motion of the field off the field, can he bring it and just bring the old new who? Can he win tackles? Can he make some new who runs forward? Can he demand the best

of his teammates? And can he be that brick wall that we know? But also at that same time, he's gonna have two wingers depending on who plays on the side. But it could be Esmier, it could be no Buck it could be Barrero who's coming back. He has that transitional times. Can you who'd be smart enough to know that if he gets forward, he's got to get back chance. I'm gonna take two. I'm gonna take a starter, Albert Rusnak. I think he's gonna come off of a two goal

game. I'll be penalties in scoring the run and play. That's gonna be my prediction with him. I just feel like he's gonna have a fantastic game. And then my sub coming off the bench, Pedro de Levig. I really want to see him come in, and I just have this feeling that he could get you know, thirty minutes something like that and just really light

it up out there. Man, I cannot wait. I mean, we've seen the flashes of Pedro dal Levega right and we know the talent that is there and if he can, you know, get whatever, if you have thirty minutes like you just said, and just see that burst and continue to ramp it up where hopefully we see him starting and getting in the lineup soon. It's just cannot wait for that time because he is such a great talent.

I'm gonna go. Paul Rothrock Baby the opportunity tonight. I think callan you said it best earlier, which is the element of listen, this team has the Open Cup on Tuesday. You can easily take a guy like Paul Rothrock and say I'm gonna, you know, keep you on the bench and i'm gonna start you on Tuesday. Rotate the squad for that. But I think you said it best for you said no, I'm gonna start you in

the big one. I'm gonna start you in the home MLS game on a Saturday night on the stage here and see what you can do it right mid I can't wait to see what Paul Rothrock does because he has just been the spark plug. But you know, for for so many of these games coming off the bench, including you know, halftime, he comes off the bench Chicago and draws the penalty, makes that epic run that was our play of

the match. That was that run. And you know, I'd be interesting to see if he can have that spark plug element and run as hard and for as long in the starting lineup as opposed off the bench tonight. So I want to see it from Paul Rothrock. It's a huge opportunity for him. Sounder fans down on the McDonald's up today and when the Sounders win, you'll win a free mix chick in the following day with minimum two dollars purchase exclusively in the app. Earlier this week at training, had the chance to

catch it with Dual Paula. We talked about the Revolution game coming up. We talked about the team coming off of the two to one win over Chicago. Here's my conversation with JP Hi. JP, you know, team's been pretty good in the last four games, he wins. How do you keep the vibe going? You're against New England on the south back. Yeahs are great, but we can ignore our first first half less started. I feel like we were very bad in that first half. A little correct and do

better the whole game. Try to play the same way you play the second half the entire match. So that's our goal to be sided. Yeah, in these few games where you've gotten down and then come back and get the result. Is there a common denominator in what's going on in the first half when you are going down? I think you're just when you play good soccer, the thing's going our favorite. So yeah, second half was a good

half and were built from that. But just like I said, we can play like we did at first half because we be tough to like every week, to try to come back games' is a a tough task, so we need to be better much. Been looking at New England. It's a team like Chicago that was kind of down for a while and they've got had a decent better runner for me over the last month. What have you seen from them in prep coming in here this Saturday. It's a good team. They

compete. There's no easy games in this league. I think there's some differences they play. Most of the games, we've back four, so it's different than we play a back five or back three. Yeah, but it will be a tough game. You need to be prepared for starting game strong and doing our best. Good stuff there from Jui Paulo earlier today this week at training talking about tonight's game against the Revolution, and we just about ten minutes

away from kick here at Emerald Quing Casino Pitch at Luminfield. Today's kind and kickoff is presented by Emerald Queen Casino, the entertainment capital of the Northwest. We'll take one more break here on the prematch show. We'll come back, give you our keys to the match and the history against New England that comes up as we see Brian Schweitzer walking to his sideline. There's a very special

Sounders legend of the day that we'll get to as well. Lot coming up here as we round out the pre match show here on Sports Radio ninety three point three KJRFM. Now back to Seattle, Sounders Sucker on Sports Radio ninety three point three kjr FM. Welcome back to the Providence. Weis pre match out from Lumenfield. We have some breaking news here. Rarely when do we get breaking news, but we have breaking news here on the pre match show. Dylan Barrero one of the two forwards for New England Revolution

today. Dylan Barrero was coming off of an injury and we just got wored. He is no longer going to be playing in tonight's match. He is unavailable for tonight's match. So in his place, Jack Ponatoe pin A two, I'm gonna butcher that last name. I apologize. We had no time to prep but number twenty two for New England is going to be coming in for Dylan Barrero who is not available. That is an interesting change here in

the lineup. But before we get to our Sounders FC legend here of the match, I'll quickly tell you about the history between these teams, Sounders holding a four five and five record against New England since joining MLS in two thousand and nine. The two sides have drawn the last three games three three zero zero and then the last time was in twenty nineteen, another three to three

game back on August tenth of twenty nineteen. So are born in seventy four, Sounders legend of the day, somebody we all know very well, formerly wearing your headset right there alongside us here in the pre match post crew. He also was a head coach at tacomaa Fians Works and the director of development for your Seattle Sounders. And of course a legend is a player. Chance that you know very well, our good friend Wade Weber is You're born in

seventy four, legend of the day, waving the flag. Wonderful to have him honored here today, Chance, Yeah, No, it's great to see Wade down there. Wade's done a lot in soccer, not just at the Sounders but in the youth community and everything. And he is a great guy. I love him to death. I always enjoy seeing him at different Sounders events, and it's awesome to see him down there. Callan, I know.

I mean, Wade was obviously coaching Defiance, and I think it was interesting a few times seeing how he kind of came in and added to the kind of the flavor of Defiance versus Sounders in those strings at Starfire. And I'm sure you got a little taste of the Wade Weber you know element in your time here. Not only is probably maybe maybe as a kid Chad's pleasure, he was. He was a guy that brought in these like I said that these Defiance guys, you're not looking up to him, you're competing again.

Yeah, that would be played the Defiance and Wade was into it. He obviously quit the system of if you want to play with the Sounders, this is the system we're gonna play, and you're gonna do that. But he was also with these guys that coming Defiance. They're a youthful team. Wade is like their father. Yeah, and you could see it in it as well. He was like their father figure. He was always there to back him up, but there to push him as well. Absolutely, all

right, let's get this some keys. The match your chance. I'll start with you. What's your big key for the Sounders tonight against New England. I mean it's I'm sorry to say it's so simplistic, but goals. You've got to get goals, and not just get a goal and then sit back, but then add some more goals on top of that, and then obviously

Stefan getting a clean sheet would be the icing on the cake. But you know what, as we talked about earlier, we want to get goals so the team can relax a little bit, maybe knock the ball around, save their legs for Tuesday and for future games down the road. Hen it's got to be. It's an easy one again. You got to start fast. This team just played the Revolution played on Wednesday, a hard fought match.

They then flew across the country on your legs. That is tough. Are without their attacking midfielder, their playmaker with sixty nine assists in his three years here, he's gone. So we need to make sure we start fast, make sure that they win for a game. Sounders looking for their fourth consecutive win at home, which is an unparalleled to Territory. We'll see if they can get it done here tonight against the Revolution. We'll step aside. We'll

back to the halftime show. Danny Jackson, Steve Zacherwoni have the call? Sounder is doing? The Revolution starts next on Sports Radio ninety three point three KJRFM. Now time for Sounders FC Sucker. Good evening and welcome to EQUC pitch at lumen Field, where your Sounders take on New England Revolution of the Eastern Conference. New England have enjoyed a resurgence in June, winning five of the last six games. Has been a much needed boost to an otherwise disappointing season. Under new head coach Cayler Porter, one of the founding MLS franchises is looking to rekindle some of that magic from years past and make a final push

for playoff contention. For your Sounders. It was another memorable come from behind win at home versus Chicago last week. While they don't make it easy on us, it sure has been exciting these past few weeks. The Sounders now sit in the last playoff spot and their recent winning format lumen Field has been vitally important. They'll be confident in finding their fourth wins from their last four games at home tonight before heading on the road for their US Open Cup game

this coming week. I'm Danny Jackson alongside former Sounders winger Steve zach Marny for the call tonight. If the teams get set, crowd on their feet, loud and boister as they are Sounders in their anniversary kit, green shirts, blue shorts, white socks. There s attacking the goal to our left, New England in white shirts with a red diagle stripe along the front, red shorts and red socks. There was a late scratch in their lineup coming out

of the tunnel. We get to those lineups momentarily, Paul gets played back all the way back to former Portland Timbers goalkeeper advantage and he gets knocked down to do who knocks it up in the air right in front the Sounders bench, headed forward by By, challenged by veroni As, Abd Vargas picks it up, So stay before he gets the lineup to your initial thoughts for this game and how the Sounds can keep this run going. Yeah, I think

for the Sounders the blueprint's been there in the past few reads. It's when this team's able to get out in transition. You have the pace up front of Jordan Morris, you have leot you on the wing. Rothrock's are willing runouts we've seen already, and so I think for the Sounders that's the game they want. The Revolution cannot pay the Sounders in a transition game. So come out, get a fast stop, get a crowd on your side. That's been what's worked. Wanted to change it. Let's get that deale to

starting eleven for your sounder Stefan Fryan goal. Change it right back, Christian rolled on. We'll start on the right Yamar Reagan and then nw who back in the lineup on the left hand side, JP alongside Obed in the middle of the park. Paul roth Rock gets his start on the right hand side after coming on at halftime last week and making an instant impact. Albert Rosnak two goals last week in the Tanley or two on the left, and then

Jordan Morris up front. Kaylab Porter suffering from injuries in his squad, notably again in the starting liner before the kickoff even got going as New England pick it up attacking third at the field headed clear by rolled On, picked up the middle of the part by Rosna low flick to JP out to new who tries to wriggle out of pressure. Buck tries to close down. We'll played

by new who as Rosnack switched to the point of attack. So let's get you the lineup for New England Eva chitching goal a back row of bye Oriaga, returning to Seattle for the first time after his transfer out to New England just a couple of months ago, Romney and then Jones on the left hand side. Pollster will sit alongside Ian Hark's in the middle of the park. Buck Baraktovich and then it's gonna be Panet who's going to come in for Barrero.

There's a late scratch as we mentioned happening warm up and then Rione up front. So Caleb Porter, you know him very well, see from your collegiate days. Is that obviously big success at Portland that the Columbus crew gets an opportunity now in New England. Is a rough start, but the team's really got going now they have. And you know, I had a chance to catch up with him maybe fifteen to twenty minutes on the pitch, and he just said, look, man, we didn't have the players we needed

at the start of the season. The guys have got a bit more used to me. I've got a few more guys healthy, We've been a couple of changes in the lineup and it's just been working and mbless at the Streaky League. He's been around a long time. I think twelve won two championships at two different clubs. Ass what he's doing. But this game in particular, he was nervous by the sounds in transition. He told me, look, man, all the tape we've watched is when this team is able to

get out in transition. We can't make it that kind of game, So expect them to come in tonight and try and keep the board and make it a more methodical, tactical game as opposed to a game where both teams are

getting out and attack every chance they get. Getting players back from injury and many players, notably Carlos Heel sitting out today due to injuries, the top as Sisman of the Year, the enigmatic DP and I think Kayler Porter has mentioned many times on his absence the team's not quite the same without Heel. All gets knock long by Oriaga, picked up the far side the Sounders right by Christian rolled On, rolls it down the line to Paul rothrow gets nudged

in the back from Jones. There's going to be a Sounders free kick in

their half of the field. As we mentioned, the Sounders attacking the goal to our left the north end tonight, they will leave them attacking the south end, their traditional south end in the second half where they've had so much success the last couple of home games, two three games coming from behind in the last three games Dallas Chicago and of course Houston Dynamo in a very different difficult environment where there were two goals down back to ty two, two away

from home, Jackson Ray gets picking the ball up and we talked about it last week. Steve Jackson Regan had a stealthy year last year, really up for almost Defender of the Year nomination, as was Yemar of course, but it's been an indifferent season so far for Jackson. Yeah, it has, and I think that's where you learn. I think when the more you play this game is the key is consistency, right, I mean, you can be very good for a year, for six months or so, can you

keep it going? And Jackson's been okay, a few more errors, a few more mistakes, and sort of challenge for him is how what can you do to add to his game? What you did last year won't hold up this year. So I think for Jackson Reagan, he's obviously still starting the team stuff was very high on him, but at the same time, a

few little minor eras, especially in the session, creeping into me. And I also think for the Chicago Bowl last week, can you be strung up and you make that challenge to the last defender as there's a long way to go yet, But of course as a player who still very young, still lots of room to brown. He will know that. Yeah, big body coming out in the field for this first corner kick to the Sound, as as Jackson Ray and of course his first goal just a couple of weeks ago.

And this is an error. You can get a better right set pieces fully size and air ability. You think you should get a few more chances or comes in from Rossnack outswinger top of the six, tap by Java headed clear JP one touch back to Rosnik fast side the right, support provided by Roaldin flicked up towards Fargas towards the end like can he get there? He does, hooks it in just before he went over, not back over the

endline for a second Sounders corner kick, and you're right. His first goal, his only goal for the Sound has happened this year, was off his foot that outside of the right foot across from it was Rosneck. Yeah it's that back stick. Yeah, it's something Brad Evans always brings up, just saying, look, man, for Jackson, that physical prowess he has, you expect a bit more from set pieces, just to be a bigger friend. Comes a second corner kick for the Sound of rosnack outswing a little lower

this time. Top one of the six headed clear by New England, picked up by JP, who's been more influential over the last couple of weeks, notably against Alice where he had over one hundred touches in that game. I think the full ninety takes the ball up now from step Van Fry and his shape, blonde hair decked out and all black. Tonight, Sounder's gonna build from the back. We feel that New England we've got a decent lineup. Not much on the bench really, players coming back like McNamara would. I

haven't really impacted New England this year coming back from injuries. As Kayla Porters mentioned that they are suffering, they're gonna give it a good old go and to mention his press conference this week and if any result here is a bonus out of conference games, third game in a week. Just like the Sounders did not play midweek, New England did gonna result against Atlanta. We're trying

to find their way after finding their coach. Of course, Boor gets to the foot of Christian rolled on. We'll see him pinching off that right hand side. JP picks it up Gonzo Pinata, of course, was here for the fiftieth anniversary celebration. That shows the character of the man, the suffering that disappointment leaving Atlanta comes in, walks onto the field, gets applauded by the Sounders, faithful and remember all the contributions he made both on and off

the field. And then come the Sounders. Can they get their fourth win out of four at home? Liminfield has been a struggle nearly parts of the season, but they've really got it going now and a lot of it's been for a bunch of hard workers. Brian Schmidtzer mentions about characters, about resilience. Sounder has shown that in these last few weeks. As Veroni picks it up, he's on a rich vein of form himself. Five goals in the last four games. Ian Hart picks it up, son of former US international

John Harks to Ari Ark and just steps forward. Switch to the point of attack from right hand side to the far south and left. It's going to go over. Everybody bounced through the far touch sns could be thrown for the Sounders. Here in the eighth minute, Sounders Nail new Ingle, Nil and I do just wonder if this game will come down to the last stage. It sounds obviously the bench is getting struggle up, you know, Brian Mescher telling me before the game, just like it's just a great time, everyone

healthy and for a new revolution. A lot of these guys played big minutes in the midweek game we just mentioned. They seven eight of these guys were out there against Atlanta, a very tough game for them. They've got to win out of it. They've flown across country. So you just wonder this game gets into the fiftieth sixty of seventieth minute or so, if that's where the Sound's gonna have their edge, where would the game be at that stage,

because it will be a tough mass for New England. There comes the Sounders, Albert Vargas getting it up on that right hand side a couple of

times already in these first minutes of the game. It's challenged by Jones has to push it back to Christian World, twenty yards from the end line farst side the Sounders right as they maintained possession and the attacking third of the field, driving forties World down outside the foot ball towards Jordan Morris just eludes his friend and Ford because of the end line goal kick or New England one nine three point three kJ FM. Wherever you're listening to us and and About it's

on the app you're SYNCD up with Apple tonight. Thanks for joining us. Sounders looking to continue their push up the Western Conference standings as their form is

coming together at the right time. And I've seen this many times with the Sounders got a rough start of things and then they get it together towards the summer and then make a late run into the playoffs as Jacks Raga just about cuts it out, then falls asleep for a split second half picks it up covered well by Yama, and that's what you're saying, It's just that lack of concentration at those times. It's a great example that he does a great

job. Initially Jackson Reagan just getting his foot to the fruit board to prevent New Englan getting behind, and then you've got Competer play it's not over and he kind of jogged towards the board, whereas hearts will sprinting towards it beat him to it, and fortunately for the Sounders, Yama was reader. Situation came across one, but it sounds deep because he'd a corner him first corner kick for New England. It was Chu who came back to support, asked

the assistant referee were standing about five yards away for a goal kick. Thought it came off the New England player didn't. It's gonna be a corner kick first one. It's gonna be breck Terovic, who's going to take him with his left foot his near side, the New England right in swinger. Four players from New England finding their position, eventually cleared top of the box to Rosnek who just about gives it away. Picked up by New England, ball

bounced around eventually on the foot of JP. Looked like she was half a yard off side, but ball rolls back to Ivacic, who launches it forward. Sounds asking for an off side as Jackson Reagan pulls it down Well switches the point of attach far side the right both ripped into Rothrock right hand side, drives forward, whips it in allude to everybody. Nobody made the run the stick. We talked about it. Brian Schmitz has talked about it.

Four players into the box where the Sounders having the right hand side. It was built up well, yeah, I mean it's like it's not the best bard in the world from rough Rock. But the lack of movement there, I mean Jordan Morris did to make a run. Neil Chu has the opposite side window. You always got to frame the back balls. He was about

thirty yards from gold. So listen, rough Rock Dunway's supposed to do try and put him into a dangerous area and that occasion dead the run wasn't there because if you've got gamble every time, if the board is gonna be there, you have to be there. On that occasion, the Sounders didn't really show a strong desire. Let's get into the box on that attack all headed

down by roth Rock towards Jordan Morris. Turn out of pressure is by knocks it down the line to flick forward by buck picked up by the Sounders on the halfway line. Yea mark, should Christian roll down? Who's going to

play on that right hand side. He was asked a couple of weeks ago when he stepped in for Alex roll Dan how they played the game in a little bit differently, and he admitted that yes, Alex roll Dan's got the experience, likes to play high and right as we see here because Shean wald On likes the pinch in side more from that right back spot, just letting roth Rock drift out to that far right hand side, and it's worked well. Christian Waldon's definitely put in a good shift of that right back spot.

Now he starts to win his spot away from his brother Alex, an interesting fight for position on their right hand side. In the ROLLDN family, the New England pick it up Sounders ten yards inside the New England half of the field line of confrontational higher as they try to press. This game start off on the right foot. Sound As have played well coming out of the gates

in the last couple of games New England build. But tonight's match is presented by Bowing, a proud partner of Sounders FC and the Puget sound community. Get here in the thirteenth minute Sounders nil New England nil as Oriaga's press and hard by Chu eventually clears the ball. It's picked up by New England Well Parks rolls it out from sent to the far side the left to Jones is gonna roll it to Barraktovitch comes inside on his trusty left foot. It was

constern native homegrown player, shifty little player with his left foot. Buck gets it to Buy, playing his fifth game of the season, come back from a ecl injury. It's only second start this season. It's most of the twenty twenty three campaign, New England. Build you feel last week it was a little slow out of the block, Steve Dallas. It was fast out of the blocks. Then they got caught up with a couple of mistakes going

behind. But it's been about resilience, about Karen's about coming from behind. But now it's about getting goals and making this credit a little happy. Yeah, go home a little bit easier. And that's exactly what Branch must have said to me earlier, says, Look, I love last thing from my team. We never know when we're beating. It's a sun of a good team. But I can't tell you how much I would just love a routine victory, a two nail free one, one of those wins where from start

to finishing in control. Of course, that's easier said than done. But I think for the sound as we've learned the lot in recent weeks. Look went to Houston, come from behind, come from behind results here as well. Buy on the right hand side, tries to shift it towards the peak case bot clear by Jackson Reagan. She just flicks it up into the end of Jordan Morris able to knock it back now he runs through. He's got the legs on Norman. Can you push it forward into the eighteen yard books.

Jordans fantastic finish. It was all about power to get into the eighteen yard books. And then he finished the shot, enter the roof for the net to put the Sounders up one goal to nail. And that's exactly why New England did not want this to be a game of transition, had no chance. The parts from Albert Rossnack is fantastic. The moment Jordan lays it off, he spins and bowls the wealth. The part is brilliant, but the rest of it taking ling away from Jordan Morris. This is not an

easy finish. Great first touch, holds off from me and then gives a goalkeeper absolutely no chance with a fantastic finish. He's a man in form and he gives a sound as a one lead. Here great combination between Jordan Morris and Alba Rusnak god and it's a fantastic finish by the Sounder's forward well is that lead. Eighth goal for Jordan Morris on this campaign is seventh gold in the last nine games. So Jordan Morris and Steve zach Wraney mentioned a rich

fain of form. He shifted from that outside back to his position that he started this season in and he continues that form and gave Ivacic absolutely no chance with that finish. As we'd asked for just a moment or so ago, wouldn't it be great if the Sounders got on the board here in this first

half I started to really kind of open up this lead. All the Sounders are starting to build that foundation and platform on which to build is Arigar is New England are just gonna settle themselves, try and get back into it. As we always say, the first five minutes after conceding or scoring goals when a team is most vulnerable and Sounders take advantage. Get here in the seventeenth

minute Sounders one New England nil. And this score up is presented by Boeing This by has it pressed by New who bull back sound is high pressed with chu onto Ariago's They'll play it to bays and knock it down the line. Jackson Reagan asking him for an off side, nothing given by the assistant referee. Jackson Reagan just continues to ask, but here comes Rione powering forward top of the box. Jones and support tries to cut past Oh but Vargas a

hesitation from the back line. Then Roldan takes control, strides forward and plays it well out of pressure to new who it comes JP. You mentioned the Sounders had success these last few weeks at Looming Field. This is the last game at home in this home stand, but a win against Dallas win against Chicago. Now the leading one goal to nil. Here, as the ball goes down the line, his left hand side to True picks it up twenty yards from the end line. One B one versus boy drops his shoulder pushes

it towards the end line. Well defended by five, it goes over the end line for a Sounders corner kick because they leave one goal to nil. Steve's that quanic. Yeah, I mean that's good for leel two. You want to see that every time you get the board, especially there when he's one v one. There's no reason not to be aggressive. And the worst of it, know, you lose the board in eighty Yarsen on board, ninety Yarsen on board. But a lot of times you'll get a beating off

your man or you win a corner kick. Here it's done on this occasion because it sounds the chance to get Jackson, Reagan and Yemore forward, another chance to put in the New England back line under pressure. Good play from

the milk Troop. Third corner kick of the game so far. This time it's on the Sounders left in swinger Rosnack steps up, whips it in to the just the top of the sixth headed clear by Romney, picked up by JP and that a couple of times already from clearances from New England back to the foot of Rosnik goes square to Vargas, been active in the attacking throat of the field so far, tries to cut the ball back to Christian Worldarho

ludes the Sounders number seven goes over this near touchline for a New England throw. As they walk over and just try to take a breath, and you know the Sounders as they get their tail up and get wind in their sales.

Here at lumin Field, it can be a forceful opponent to have to face, but they do switch the point of attack far side to Jones, who plays it into Hart's switches the point of attack from centers near side there right just eludes Buck His new plays the ball back to Steph friend fight, takes a touch with his left foot just outside his eighteen yard box, knocks it along down this near side went from the sounder's bench just two trice and

find Morris, new England captain, also just heads it out abound. Sounds get it in quickly. It's could be another throw for the Sounders. Well. This copyright in audio casts of Major League Soccer may not be retransmitted, reproduced, or rebroadcast without the express written consent of Major League Soccer. We'll see. We certainly know when teams they could put us through the ring and

the Sounders have done it. England have done it, but they've come through, played the semi finals on Wednesday. But they don't make it easy, that did they. We haven't haven't And again I watched that game Nerve rack. We haven't haven't got a great history in penalty issue out that major tournament. So it was a nice change to be on the other side of that result today in England winning and penalties against Switzerland. All goes in to rolled

down as he flicks it away. Obed picks it up and its nearside with new rolls it out to Leochuney's be active against buying. As we mentioned, only his second start of the season so far. It comes le or two inside, he goes, he goes outside, then comes inside. The ball gets cut out by New England, given away by Polster. Yama rolls it out quickly to Paul rath Rock comes on his left foot to fight. Say by Eva chich He positive play by Paul Rothrock. Two goals on his season.

Last week he came on a half time at a contribution on the pks and again good positive place to HEAs I'm a big fan of the kid. I've got to say, you know, I think you know sometimes the young players that breakthrough, you want to see the super technical, skillful, sort of silky players. He's not quite that. He's a bit rough around the edge of still, but it's his work break. He can change a game even by not touching the ball. He's off the board staff. How he

won the penalty last week Jesse. He makes things happen. Rion off energy and I love that branch Metsize penning from the start today because he deserved it. He's game in recent weeks, you know, going back to performances even on the roll. Anytime he's come on, he's had an impact. And I think to rough Rock as well deserved and he's made a pretty good start.

Hit to the already Jones shifts it from left downside this right hand side overlap and run by by he gets towards the end line a London six well defended by Christian rolled on soundless, going to be careful, New England will come in transition. That is really good positioning by Christian Road done. There's right back. You know, you kind of gotta be aware of the man, but you also in that moment, the deeper they get, you must

defend the space. And he did that really really really well. Christian Road done. But that's a warning sign. This Revolution team do have crafty players in the final third and he can combine the cannon cup that's the hallmark of any Klorport team in that final five. He likes clean into the players and it almost in there all goes over the top set and before I read it, rolls it out quickly to the far side of the right with Christian rolled

on. And it wasn't that long ago, back in twenty twenty one, it was and Bruce Arena led this team to the highest points total in MLS history at that time, and then Brisne if Kayler Porter comes in, tries to stamp his possession orientated game on this team. And as we all know, when the coach has a different philosophy with a certain group of players,

it can sometimes take a lot of time to get bedded in. Certainly the response in New England have shown this feels that when Oriaga went in there they really turned things around. Yeah, and it's really interesting how that works it Areoga, I think his time in Settle was up. He knew that the sound is new, that you go to a new environment, new coaching staff, and sometimes it just clicks. And that seems to be the case for Ariaga. And I'll tell you this so too. Of Kena put a staff

or my collage teammates and I spoke to them quite often. They're very high on Areaga and they like him a lot. He fits their possession based style. There is still the error proneess they don't like, but it's a much better fit than he had here. Towards the end it comes Varga strikes forward past that man Oriaga pree kick given by the referee. Orega just puts his hand up to apologize. It's a yellow card for the former Sounders man.

And that is an SGB yellow card when a foul is called SGB try lawyers are here to help visit SGB dash lord dot com. So as soon as you give him a point of reference and lord it and applause. He makes a rash challenge at the top of the eighteen yard box. Good chance for the Sounders. And one thing he is Brian Schmetza and and your rolls up very quickly. They're one of the advantage because as it Vargas has fouled.

Yes, but Rusnak picks us up and he's in. He's in, And I think that question has been asked a refue did call a correct decision there, but put your away to split second there and your advantage. But in the end he signs to have a free kick here in a very good position about twenty five yards out, just far enough to get up and over and new who's there? But I think it's gonna be Russ and that old Jo Potter I cannot see the cameroon didn't having any statingess whatsoever. But he's there

for a conversation. He's just getting involved, just maybe giving us point of view as he starts to walk away. Steve zac Corning mentioned twenty five yards or so outside outside of Eva Chiccher's goal, just right of center. The war lines up just about where the PK spot is. It comes JP whips it over the top, just over the top, got it over the wall, hits the top of the net. It's gonna be a gold kick for New England. Sounders lead one golden nail. But good free kick by GP.

Yeah, it really is. You hit that really well, JP, Dare you talk about the technique to get the board up and Norway? It's not an easy one. I think in the end the keeper was a little bit worried. He was worried they just didn't come down quickly enough. But really, really good from John Powell. Sound has continued to push and press, leading possession here fifty two point five percent possession. Certainly had a majority of that in the New England half of the field. But New England aren't

just sitting bad. They know they have to try and respond somehow now and as caler Porter mentioned, any result, any type of point or points on the board coming from East Coast to West coast to be seen as a bonus out of conference games. They sit just outside the playoffs. The ball goes

down the line into Jordan Morris support by Ruzak inside the box. Jones covers quickly ball into pushing Roll Darn trys to whip it across down to Rothrock with defended by Oriagus stepped in with his head to go off the foot of Rothrock is who's lining one up about eight yards out. It's gonna been throwing for the Sounders and I think you know you mentioned then after the ball the next

five minutes, so it is gonna be key, yes, neonn. I've had a couple of attacks, but fin the sound as I've managed it really well, staying on the front foot, continuing to press, continue to push forward, putting this new England back hand under a lot of pressure. And this is about as good as the Sounds could have expected today to come out

here and playing. It's been very good. It comes over on the right hand side again, cuts it towards the near corner of the six yard box, clear by Romney, picked up by Rothrock the far northeast corner as he comes out of pressure and lays it back to Yama. Eleven men behind the ball for New England. They defend Eva chich in his goal, trying to contain the sound as they play on the front foot here spelling another goal as

they press and prod and trying to find that opening. Jackson Reagan hasn't sent a circle, just crossed the half way line, rolls it out to this near side the left Leo chou as a couple of forays in behind the back four but quite so far for him. Good to get him on the ball and trying to tack by New England right back as they try to push up their line as the Sounders build, but spend like it matters by supporting by

puck and diverse owned businesses all year long. Visit intentionalist dot com to find

a business near you. Sound a free kick taken quickly by JP to Rothrock as he switched the ball into Jordan Morris outside of his right foot plays into Leo chu By stands him up the two with Morris headed clear by by picked up by Knew, Who's moved himself forward, getting more involved in the attacking third of the field as JP just eludes pressure from Hearts Sounders retaining some good patient possession and attacking third of the field, Falling to the foot of Morris

and Oriogo Stepson well bind loads the places back all the way to Iva. Chichen goes nothing more as it gets pressed by Morris and kick it a long headed forward by heart. No pressure on New England. They picked the ball up and roll it out to the far side overlapping run by Jones. Panete rolls it out to Jones on the far side the left. They attacked the Gold to our right at the south end, as Paul says, they just put their front the ball. Sounders happy to say on top of their eighteen

yard box. They continue to lead in possession, but as Brian Schmitzer has said, it's sometimes about that balance, but in playing short play possession, defending when you need and then springing forward as they showed in that goal. As Jones clips in towards Rione and in clear boy Yama continues to be right

up there. In MLS leaders of interceptions all goes into Rosnek across the halfway like far side the right goes it into roth Rock Sounders in transition Morris sitting in behind, gets it to feet now, so they start to build. You certainly think Steve, they've got the speed on the left, they've got speeding with Morris have shown it. But they're also showing a level of patience, roll in possession that just about finding those moments to go. That's one

of us. If all goes into Morris inside eighteen yards towards the airline, cuts it back, Tu tries to get it. Romney clears. The ball picked up by the Sounders is played by Yamar. It coming New England. Rione on this Ryan side picks it up top of the box, comes onto his foot and left foot good black bye, craigging anew and the bought by JP. The crowd like that. There's a new chance right around Lewman Field. We're defending by the sound as they continue to lead here one goal to

they'll after thirty minutes. Yeah, I think there's enough of a threat there from New England by now you can see to keep the sounds honest. So you've got to a little bit careful sending so many numbers into the attack. On that occasion there was a bad touch by yea Mark and the revolution after the races. In the end, the combination of Jackson, Reagan and we

did a great job. But to your earlier point, I finish sounded so far finding a great balance whichween playing out in transition and keeping a board every time they've gotten behind them look dangerous, especially on the right hand side. I think between rough Rock, Christian o'donn a couple of times, Vargas once or twice as well. They've got a beating off this back line. But you just gotta be careful how many numbers you sent forward because going the other

way we just saw there is a very real threat as well. Hariga has it bolted into hearts. They started to build out of the back also gets a good press one your chew Sounders pressing high up the field deep in the New England half for the field and they try to build out a pressure.

All it out to the far side to Jones and now he carries the ball across the halfway line, rolls it into and I'll tell you just try to clip it through, picked up by buy on his right hand side, clips it in headed clear by Reagan, picked up by Yemo sitting on this near left hand side. Sounds got dragged around a little bit in that back four clear by Jackson Reagan. Oreogo steps in front of Morris. Maybe Morris can just like better job again to that ball it comes parts of New England.

Some concerted pressure here as to get past the half hour mark or whits him by Jones block well By rolled on clip to this near side to buy flex it off. Choos going to be a corner kick for New England Sounders. Thining a hold strong step from fire hasn't been called into action New Englander prodding and poking. Yeah, there's enough of a sense of thread there where they've not been able to read break down the sounding ship. But they're doing enough

in the ot sight. It's gonna keep the sound as back on this and especially in set peacefuls one for the Sounders that you want to be careful because it really is a simple way for a team to get back into it. The more their planing is pressure. Brek Terovich whips it him with his left foot, goes into step friendfre I easily collected by the Sounder's goalkeepers. He rolls it out it's a Paul roth Rock Sounders sort of breakout in some transition

to just slow it down with OBD to JP. He's got some space to carry it forward across the halfway line. It's right of center as he rolls it. So Christian rolled on. So Sounders faithful. We've certainly been entertained these past few weeks, and it feels a bit more like Sounders sock a bit more control to this one as they lead here one goal to nil. It's a new England revolution coming in eleventh position in the Eastern Conference, and

much of that work has been done over the last five weeks. Five wins out last six games. He's pulled them off the bottom of the Eastern Conference, pushed them within just a couple of points of the playoff spots. It comes to Rosnik two goals last week, Team of the match Day last week for his performance, and then followed his team in the matchday performance the previous week against Dallas where he got two assists. So Rosnik continues to play well.

As we start the Seattle summer, beautiful night to tick over eighty degrees at kickoff, so lots of shorts and short sleeves even last week it was raining. Now it feels like sound a soccer suburb was starting. As the ball gets knocked over the top. Is Rione got in between Jackson, Reagan and Knew who just about seven yards out over the top goal kick lad won't go to nil against New England, but a chance, Steve Zacquani, I

think that's a better chance than what he ends up making of it. There's some really good ball in he finds a very good spot every running between Reagan and Newho. Actually they don't get close enough for him at all, and he goes for the acrobatic side fully finished there off the ground catches it all wrong. But this last five to six minutes or so, it's been all New England. A sound has just been pecked back a little bit more and

more the Revolution trying to get left before half time. Given their best push. I still feel that they're gonna go for this first sixty to five minutes. Then they'll tire. A lot of these players put a lot of minutes on themselves in midweek traveling cross country. So if the sound is just expect that the next ten minutes say or so, and is reminding this half and start of the second half. As long as it's one nail, there's gonna be a belief inside a New England team that he can get a result here.

So of some bonus points in terms of their season. Leo chru shifts from left or right. Change things up. Roth Throck on this near side sounds left, so you see Obed stepping up a line as well alongside of Ro's neck. It comes to English striding forward top of the box, strikes a board well blocked by Jack Satire. Only great save by Fry blocks it again. A double save by Fry, brilliant by the Sounder's captain, Brilliant by Stephan Fry. It's gonna be a corner kick, but Fry again comes

up with the goods. That's exactly why he is who he is and who he has been. Stephan Fry, He's got too fantastic saves. The first one is shrunk right hand and it falls right back to revolution. Shot comes back and that's the same with his legs. You have two Sounds players trying

to get the block in. Shot still gets through and Stephen Fry standing really taller at the last time of the fence and he keeps the sound as ahead third corner, Cake whips it by Barrett rak Terovich Ontariago's head just heads it wide over the endline. Goalkicks Sound as they lead one goal to nil here in the thirty fifth minute. Backslash tickets Backslash Match fash Pack Just got put, just got through that. Sounder's got a free kick just in their half of the field. It was Jones on the roth Rock

Sounders right as Shew and Rothdock just flipped again. Ten minutes left here of you're opening forty five, sound has got their lead with Jordan Morris deservedly so. In that first fifteen minutes, Paul gets through the legs of New England as they come moving forward with Buck goes into Frioni. Here comes New England again, closed down by Roldan, picked up by Game are rolled out by Obed Bargas, so i'd just playing some danger these last couple of months.

You mentioned Steve, yeah, and I think New England you can see where they're missing Parlous here. He's one of the best players in the league since he's been here, and just that little bit of quality in the final third they've got. They've got there five, six, seven times in his first half and even that final pass or that final piece of skill needed hasn't always been there, and that's why they're missing their talisman. If the sound is

though, you've been won, the oneing signs are dead. There's one Nell lead, yet it's not solid enough. And I think the last ten minutes or so a little bit too passive in their pressing, a bit too easy to play through. And right now just got to say the Revolution looked the more likely of the two to get on a squasheet. Sound is bild just inside New England's half of the field with new who rolls into the foot of Jordan Morris, a little flock around the corner to Rusnak twenty yards from goals

left of center, comes eye right, but drives it low. Easily gathered. Are the New England goal gate keeper Eva Jitch A good quick, incisive build up by the Sounders. Yeah. Better and as a man you mentioned moments ago Albert Rusnick, he has been playing better. I do feel the game at Saint Louis away it was a toning point frame where he began to get the assistant really found his group that day and he hasn't looked back.

And he's been alongside Jordan Morris really really good in this last six or seven games or so for the Sounders. On that occasion, a pair of them linking up again, the shots straight a goalkeeper. But you want to see Albert rus Knick getting into the final third, facing forward, running at the back line, trying to make things happen, something he's done very very well, especially here. Have we been field in recent weeks. Sounder's one New

England nil here on ninety three point three KJRFM. We're also on serious nationwide today Apple, lots of ways so listen or watch the Sounders because they lead here one goal to nil, trying to see out the final minutes. You know, last week's first half performance was not up to Brian Schmittz's liking got them in the locker room has a much changed performance in the second half. JP gets in little layoff to new pressure from New England. There's gonna be

a Sounders thrown on this near sight. As killer Port just flicks it to news run down the line. Rothrock looks for it as he shifts right to left to George down. University players on the field today. Rothrock for the Sounders, Panayot for New England. It was that late addition, Barrera got scratched after warm ups weren't able to backfill the bench, So New England will be down a man off the bench. We'll get to that bench in the

second half again. Full round of games around MLS today, as the Sounders start to look up the Western Conference, getting some of those early scores that have games that have finished already. It's the Sounders start to build well. Philadelphia Union nil, New York Red Bulls nil, Orlando City five, DC United nil. Big win for Nico Ladero's squad. Mont Your one Vancouver white

Caps one. That's a full time score. Plumbus crew dominating performance against Toronto, winning four goals to nil and into Miami goes into Cincinnati gets a good old hammering six goals to one Cincinnati win and then kickoff seven thirty round the Western Conference on the West Coast. It he already picks it up, challenged by Jackson Reagan, just flicks between the legs of JP charge Paneo two cleared by Jackson Reagan, label to be brought down by Rosnak. Picked up.

There's nearside the right with buy who's close it down? New stretches cry isn't able to say. It goes over the end line for a cornerkick for New England. The Sounders continue, I knew to lead here and it you see a picture woman Field one Golden Hill. You know, I think Caleb Porter will be disappointed, just because if you had told him before the game, you're gonna get into positions in the final third, out wide chance across the board five, six, seven, eight times in his first half he'd have

taken it. But they have not got enough from those type of situations so far. Quick corner kick by doing us gripped in headed cleared by Yam up to lots of Hawks, strikes it good say bye. Fryer was right at him, comfortable in the end. They flicks it over the crossbar from another New England corner kick a good stride by hawks ball of twenty five yards.

Yeah, he struck it well, but that's comfortable bored away for Stephil Fry will take something very special to be Stephil and Fry, especially for the four

me's in already this evening from that distance. But warning signs are there, and the New England look the more likely of the two, so it looks more active, but one one then it does too nil at the moment, and the sounder is not all the way hanging on but would not be too so don't see the halftime whistle sooner barak Terovitch, She's gonna run over to the far side the left outswinger with his crafty left foot one arm goes up in the air, steps up, whips it in towards the peak spot headed

clear by Jackson Reagan, picked up by Joanes thirty five yards from seven fries Gold dead center volts it back out to the far side the left. If Barackterovitch goes past, the goaldar is able to block the cross nonchalant by Rosneck, eventually cleared Byobed Vargas, goes out far side for New England throw Pineyo two is gonna run over to it, gives it to his left back Jones. Good touch by Paneo two. Towards the end line we closed down by

Vargas, went past all down with ease. Sounders, defensive midfield player comes across, helps his number seven out. It's gonna be another corner kick for New England. This time it's gonna be Panayo two with his left foot. Sound as eleven men inside the eighteen yard box, of course, sounds a couple of poppers when they've cleared the ball. Steve, But these players sitting on top of the eighteen we have three clear shots from all of eighteen to

twenty five yards. Yeah, and they have And I think you know New's down right now. I'm not sure what's happened. They're trying to get the referee's attention and Ariago's former team are having a conversation with him. Referee ups and what But yeah, long Revolution have the dangerous from set pieces. Not always the first board. Sometimes it's that second board. It sounds not doing the best job of really clearing their lines, and Revolution doing a good job

of keeping a pressure, keeping a board alive. Second boards, third chance opportunities outwing and corner kick, a left foot of Panaeo to whips it in, headed down and away by yea Are. There's no strike from Hearts that sounds frombout twenty yards slices it over the crossbar, goalkick Sounders. They lead here one goal to nil and this score up that is presented by provident Swedish

Steve's that corny and it's exactly what you had just mention there. Than it sounds not too convincing again in clearing their lines and the Revolution doing a good job. Maybe not on the first delivery, but they're maintaining a pressure and buying themselves a lot of second and third chance opportunities here they've been unable to convert. But it's been a long time since I've seen the team come here too. Central Lincoln sort of just have their way through the midfield. They've

been breaking the lines a bit too easily. Another opportunity here getting behind the Sounder is a bit too often as well. A few things got to change, just defensively in terms of team shape and being a bit more compact if you're the Sounders in the second half, and we spoke about trying to get out in transition. It's where the goal came from. The game's been a bit too much of how the way Revolution want to play, methodical, tactical. You want to see this game be a bit more back and forth and

get out in transition. If you're can for the Sounders. Yeah, Branchs are on his feet just organizing his team as who walks overs can we have thrown for the Sounders, But this gal tire get thirty percent short average weight time when you buy and book online a discount tire dot com. As he approached the last minute of forty five, sound has continued to lead one goldt nil here against New England Revolution at e QC pitch Lumen Field ninety three point

three KGRFM serious Nationwide. Thrown from New England, rolls it quickly as they try to break out good press by the sounds picked up by Roznik his left side of this field, this near sign. As he turns out of pressure, I think forward goes square to JP sitting in the center circle just inside the New England half of the field, rolls it out to the far side to Rothrock, hugging that far touchline. See how much ana time the referee is going to add not much for stoppage in this first half, well get

shifted well to this near side left of Leo. Cho stands up by double team by New England as Leo two just rolls out of pressure, finds new who loses possession. Don't get that from Newt there. He'll choose one. The one that's fine. You're gonna go for the overlap, then there's gonna be a sprint news. I mean, he's guying now twenty percent of his speed there and you're not being a defenders, you're just adding extra bodies in

there. If anything, the space taking away for an overlapped then really, if I'm a wing guy, I want you to really overlap and give the back line something to think about. Give me an option to either play you in or you take a defender away. Now I'm back one for one. But he mean he's sort of minanding into space and wasn't fooling anyone. She comes across, just drags down Buck but good chasing back by Jordan Morris. Ball didn't reach him on a ball he was looking for over the top,

and then he chased it down. Sounders eventually give up a free kick, taking quickly by New England as they attack down the far side. That left with Jones flixing into Panao to good defending by Ye Mark. Potentially he finds its finds the foot of Jordan Morris got kind of pushed off it or Iaga flicks it away from Gros. Next pressure chase down eventually keeps the ball. Sounds win it with jpas he goes down to the ground. Refree is putting

his hand out just yet's JP to calm down. Got like a clean chack on there, that's gonna be a free kick. Yeah, we're a long way away, but he looks clean. Look that JP got to the board first, won it pretty clearly. It seemed like initially there, but the referee was in no doubt that it was a fout. It does give the Revolution a chance to get one more ball into the box. The Sounders will hope to survive this last attack again into the locker room and regroup. It

hasn't been a bad half. Any time you go in at one nill, you'd be happy with that. But there's gotta be a couple of small adjustments for the sound to say that scheme goes on it's been going edging a bit too much towards the way that New England wants to play. It's been a free kick for New England just left of center, forty yards or so away from Sethron Fries go flicked in the last chance. We get way past the minute. About a time there's a referees. We're still winning this first half

to a close. Well, it was a Jordan Morris fifteenth minute goal and then for his eighth goal of the sea then often assist by Albert Rosnek is tenth assists of the season, and the sound is going to the locker room. One goal tanilla here at lumen Field. We'll take a short break. Jackson Feldt, caleen Roe and Chance Fry we'll be back to break it all down a halftime Here at EQUC Pitch a lumin Field. Now time for the Sounders FC halftime show. Forty five minutes in the books here at Luminfield, and it's good for your Sounders. They are up one to nothing on the New England

Revolution a fifteenth minute goal from Jordan Morris. There was a clearance that Leo Chu headed on to Jordan, Jordan laid it off to Rus and Rus Neck lay a nice through ball. Jordanu fought off Dave Romney and ends up with a great finish into the back of the net that gives the Sounders a one nothing lead. Also of note here in the first half, new blocked a

shot while doing a backflip and Stephen Fry had a double save. It has been an exciting first half the first forty five minutes here at Lemanfield that has your Seattle Sounders up. We'll quickly mention that tonight's match is presented by Boeing, a proud partner of Sounders FC and the Puget Sound Community. Chance Fry, Calen Rowe. Let's get your opening thoughts on the first forty five minutes.

Well, we started off well. We got that goal, but we didn't follow up with what we were talking about pregame to get the other goal, we started to play a little bit slower. Give New England credit, they didn't stop playing. They did some things good things going forward. But we need to play a little bit more quickly and much more movement off the ball, and that'll help us play quickly more quickly. I mean, we said in the pre game we wanted to know who back right, we want

to do who? And he gave us all the acrobats, all the emotion and a great block shot. But I think I'm agree with a chance here. We got to make sure that we're not going to just sit back. We got to make sure we put our foot on the gas pedal here because it's been one zero before we've had this moments. Can we now finish out the game like you said? To believe it's credit, they've had some good

chances. I think we've got to sort out the back line and that midfield, and we've got to have more discipline because I think Varoni and Esmir had really found a lot of freedom in our final half. And one of the things that we you know, did you didn't even talk about on the pre match show that I wanted to bring up is it's obviously a very very warm night. I think it's still eighty plus degrees right now. In a situation like this, for you guys, I'm wondering how much the ethesis is on.

Let's establish possession, let's build the possession, and let's make them do the running. Because these tired legs and he's next forty five are only going to get more tired. So if you can get New England a little bit on the back end, that allows you to perhaps much be more likely to get number two and eventually hold onto this game where it won't be too difficult. Yeah, there's a difference between just keeping possession and making them run though.

If you're not knocking it quickly, they're just shifting back and forth, they're not really running that much. But if you're playing the ball quickly and moving off the ball, then you're making them work and it's going to open up for us. But while you have that possession, you have to make sure, like I said again, you have to be disciplined. The back line has to make sure that there's not a gap between the six, the one that's holding, and the back line. So we make sure that if

it's two against three to two against four in our favor. They shouldn't be getting the ball in turning and finding passes. That's just not how this works. And again, as the midfielder has to be disciplined. It up where if you're the last guy, if you're the six, you're Joe Polo, you're Obi Vargas. You're not running past the ball to create that gap where Esmer or Varoni can come in forty five minutes to play here with your Sounders

up one nothing. I should also note Javier Ariyaga is currently on a yellow card. Can I get some odds and if you sent off in this game? No? Okay, I'll check the website see if anybody has odds on that Sounders leading one nothing. Right now, we'll talk about the second half ahead as well. Let's take a look at the Sounders bench. You're Seattle Sounders up on the New England Revolution by a score of one to nothing. Right now, this coveyrated audio cast of Major League Soccer man I'll be retransmitted, reproduced or rebroadcast without the expressed great excent of Major League Soccer. Taking a look

at the Sounders bench toinight. It includes Josh Tensil, rolruyd Yes, Pedro De la Vega, Jon Fanvell, Alstrodon, Danny Miss, Andrew Thomas, Danny Leaga, and Read Baker Whiting, who we see warming up here on a field with some coaches. So two questions for each of you is who can help from that bench and what are your keys to the second half where

we can keep three points? Well, I'm looking at the substitutes. I think there are a lot of different options that Brian could go with, and it just depends on how he feels with each player and how as you talked about going into Tuesday's game and all that I think they're more worried about tonight rather than Tuesday. It would be nice to see, in my opinion, to see Christian get pushed up the field a little bit more because I think

that he can get something. But it'll be interesting to see what the changes are because they do have a lot of different options, a lot of different ways that they can go. Everyone wants to see ral Ruid Diez come into this game, but I think for me, it's a guy like Alex Wolban getting his confidence back of Josh Atensio. Make sure he's getting some runouts because I think down the road, down the stretch, it could be on Tuesday,

it could be next week, it could be in a month. Those guys are going to be guys that we're going to count on, whether it be starting lineup or coming off the bench, and they really really locking something down for us. Well, we know Pedro dale Vega, Brian said at his press conference yesterday his minutes are gonna ramp up a little bit. What does that mean? Does it mean thirty doesn't mean thirty five? Who knows? But we hope to see Peter de Leveg out there soon and interesting to

see Reid Baker Whiting warming up without a BIB on. I would wonder if read Bigger Whiting's going to come in here at halftime. That could be interesting, Kellen. When you go out early in the halftime, you've gotten a message of either it's going to be at halftime or it's going to be very quickly after. You get that little bit extra work in to make sure your legs are good to go in because it is one of the hardest things to do just go into a game at full pace while everyone else is already there.

Yeah, you have to almost up your level, up your pace a little bit more to go one hundred and ten percent because you have to get back to everyone else's one hundred. Well, I could be interesting there. It's a read for you know, I mean the US opened up on Tuesday. Well, we'll see what happens here. But read Bigger Whiting doing some accelerated war ups here during the halftime. Danny Jackson and Steve Zachawanni will have that info if Read was to come on here early in the second half.

Now back to Seattle, Sounders Sucker on Sports Radio ninety three point three kjr FM. Welcome back Sounders fans. If you see pitch lumen fields, Sounders leading New England Revolution of

the Eastern Conference. One goal to niloff at Jordan Morris' first half goal as New England starts to work their way out of the dressing room as they get ready to get set for this second half kickoff. Let's get you the lineup

for the sound is one notable change. Stefan Freyn Gold back for Christian rolled on Yemil Reagan Knew who JP alongside Obed in the middle of the park, Paul Rothrock on the right, Rosneck in the ten and then Red Baker White coming in on that left hand side at halftime in replacement of Leo Chu. He'll play on the left hand side, and then Jordan Morris up front for

New England. Looks like no changes for Kayler Porter's group, Eva Chichen goal the back, fourth by Ariaga, Romney Jones Polster Hawks in the middle of the park, Buck Barak, Taggerich Panteo and then Verroni up front Sounders in

that anniversary kit, green shirts, blue shorts, white socks. They're attacking the goal to our right, the south end, their traditional end to attack in this second half, and then New England are in white shirts with a red stripe down the front, red shorts, red socks ys Whereas that gets us going here in this second half. Sounders start the game off well, lost their waist somewhat in the middle part of the first half, and then

we got it together towards the end. But it's been New England who have peppered sefron FRI's goal. Eight shots in that first half for sefron Fry into

a number of really good saves. As Ari Argus on a yellow cord books it along, ball bounces through Jackson, Reagan takes no chances, he's pressed by Rione, knocks it over the New England bench into the crowd, killer porting asking for a second ball as Jones eventually picks it up and walks forward for a New England throw on this near side the left, as they had

taken the goal to our left the north end. Obed picks it up well as fine as Jordan Morris was quite ready for it, eludes Jordan goalscorer his eighth goal in the campaign and Rosneck's tenth assist of the campaign. Romney knocks it along as a ball bounced through a Steve You've been the halfway half time team talk to Brian Schmitze I felt like the team gotta kick up the backside.

Last week what do you make of the first half three? Yeah, and I think Brian Schmetz probably would have been in there a little bit of a fire under their bellies. And I was for you know, the more experienced players there, you know, when you haven't been at your best, and I think the Sounders you have the lead, so that kind of options and masks a lot of deficiencies. By that final fifteen minutes or so, the Revolution probably should have got back level. They really should have got back

level when they were not able to solve. Do you talk about tactics things like that, but it just comes to running a bit harder. I was a bit disappointed by some of the running off the board from the Sounders. They started a game well where in transition everyone looked to want to get there, but at times the board gets white, no one's getting into the box, trying making an overlap, and you're kind of half sprinting, half drug

in. I think it's those things where Branch Messa would have really made an emphasis to say, guys, like, you know, we're forty five minutes away from a really big result, but we have to won it just a little bit more than we have. And I think if that message gets across, then you should see a slightly different maybe a bit more intense Sounders in the second half. Yep, sounds fifty seven percent possession in that first half.

But we said it was New England playing that perfect away team that's hit perfect tactic where they absorb some pressure and then break quickly on the attack. I bet tries to flick it around the corner far side and Sounders left goes over the touch line for a throw for New England. They get it in quickly to Romney's Chu goes off at halftime. Only fifteen touches in that first half for Leo Chew and as a wide player, and there's no better person

to talk about wide player than Steve zac Corny here alongside me. So's New England build up down the right hand. So we'll get your thoughts in a minute, Steven about Leo Chew and his ineffective first half. So they start a building hark. So Leo Chu needs to get more involved. You feel like a little bit more work off for the ball to try and make that space and then really challenge somebody somebody in by who's on They started two games this year, yeah, without question and I think, you know, we

don't know. You know, we'll seeming it's a tactical change. There could be another reason. We're not sure, but or gets launched a long Jones clips it away. But I think sure of that. Then I think for Leo Cho there was a time you could say, you know, he's young and he'll learn. We'll past that. At this point, it's just got to be done. It's gonna be a acution. And I think one of the biggest jumps you can make as a board dominant dribbling type of winger is

learning off the board stuff. You know, some days you don't really have the touch, you're not getting involved in the game. Can you make runs off the board? And I learned very early on that sometimes the way you run it forces your teammates to pass the ball to you. But sometimes Liotry's movement tonight especially, I didn't believe he really wanted the board. I didn't believe that he wanted to get behind. And if it's a tactical change,

then I commend branch Metal. You see something you don't like, you've got to change it. Don't have to wait till the sixty fifth minute. You make a change. Soon. And one thing you do know from Readbaker White is you'll get that hard running. Like you said, it's about I felt like Leo Chu was waiting for the passes to come and then making his run. As you mentioned that, you've got to move off the board sometimes,

and I think you know and it wasn't just him. There was a few players that in that team in the first half where it got a bit passive, it was very easy to defend, and on both sides of the board was even defensively the way the Revolution played through the Sounders at times, and you don't want to see that eva. So I just think for Lio true you had a point in your career where you had a good season last year. You've got to come out and do it again. And one of the

ways to do that is improving off the ball. Is the movement, is the running that really makes the fenders have to defend you in both ways. Jones drives forward into the Sounders half a field outside the right foot, fines buck with his left foot. The FLEC's good save again by Stephen Fry, who was a shot for about twenty five yards. Actually it was barak Terovich

who took the shot with his left foot took a slight deflection. Stephan Fry made a good save cornerkick New England Sounders continued to lead one golden ilk. It gives a strong hand to win the n Stephan Fry, but the deflectioner made it tricky. There's a good hit in the in for the sound As goalkeeper able to push it around, but danger's not fully advotage yet as he's

got a face to setpieceeal Byak Tarovitch. When the corner gate left foot swings in, headed up and away by Ye Mark, not back in by Jones.

Jordan Morris challenges wins the ball Read Baker, White and cushion ball tried to find Brosnak Jones inter sceps picked up by buying the census wards it out this near left or in front of Kayler Portswyth parks who's gonna shift from this side the left to the far side the right bounces through read Bake Whiting challenges good play my New England as they continue to retain possession the Sounders defensive third of the field. Jones has on this near side the left with hearts now

pressed by JP. New England trying to find their way back into this game. We'll get you those subs for the Sounders in a minute. We'll get here. In the fifty first minute, Sounders leading one goal to nil, ninety three point three KGr FM serious nationwide down the right hand side of New England, whipping in clear by Obed Vargas, challenged by Reed Baker, whiting one bye bye ball popping up in the air. Vargas eventually gets it. He just sticks a leg out, doesn't do much more than that. It's

gonna be a throwing for New England. They get it in quickly. They're playing on the front foot. In these early minute of the second half, bark Tarovich ch has it with his left foot. Romney got beat by Jordan Morris for peace for that goal builds out of that. One of the experienced players in kayler Porter's back line, alongside Oriaga, of course moved from the Sounders just a couple of months ago, has had a really good start to his New England career. New England pick it up. Sounders pick up a

loose ball, roll it back to Stephan Fry, pressed by Rione. Good play by Stephan Fry, rolls it out to Christian rolled on just cuts it by Paneo two and then clips it from this near side the right to the far side the left and knew who strides forward into their attacking third of the field to Red Baker Whiting just along the sixth player by Ariaga corner kick guy Sounders. They leave one goal to Neil Steve Dechuane and that's a good attack.

Man of Sounders was very good from Stephen Fry to start in the attack. They had a chance to go, but saw that Christian was in a ton of space, able to find him. And from there once pressure found new who he did what he likes the best, really really get out and joined the attack. And that was a really good book by readingmaking White and

it was well defended by the Revolution. But the Sounder is out of a chance to put a ball into a dangerous area and if they can't get a second one four Sounders players on the peak spot now making their runs whipped in punched clear by Eva Chich ball bounced around on top of the eighteen striped by

new very ambitious from thirty five yards. He puts his hand up in the air to apologize, and that was an approaches to Preky because practicing lost his mind when you hit that there, because you had you had russ Knacks still out wide on the left, you had players forward. War should have gone out wide across coming, but Knew who saw the lights, the bright lights,

and took his chances, was not able to put it off. Knew who of course got his first goal for Cameroon and World Cup qualifies against Kick Verdie just a couple of weeks ago, has it pressed by Reed Baker White and give it away, picked up by that man Knew who on the far side. That left strides forward and so the Sounders attacking third of the field, comes back. This time it's a Vargas a little bit more intelligent use

of the ball. GP has the middle of the park to Rosnak Sounders and they now starting to get some touches and patient possession, and they're attacking half of the field. As JP whips it to this far side the right to roth Rock comes inside, tries to find the ball to Jordan Morris keeps it up off. Would be a little quiet to this game than he has been in games past, coming off the bench, and he's gonna want to establish

himself. Steve not just as a cause a bench player could come off and make an impact, but also a player that could really start and make an impact from the first minute. Absolutely. I thinking if your young player that if you come in the first thing is you don't want to miss anything up, you don't want to make the stakes things of that nature. After that is can you impact the game? And he's been doing that, absolutely,

but you come this far not to come back. It comes right asack top of the box, try to the fine Rocker gets nudged into twice, goes down to the ground, retains possession. Here's JP strikes it. Good save by even Chich picks up the rebounders JP off the foot of Jones Lott, cut back by roaldarn good recovery by Roth rock Mo just clips it in. It bounces through headed by Romney, picked up by oh Ben barg a strong challenge by Romney, New England have it with Jones giving away again. Sounders

trying to retain possession with JP, but's giving up. Bye lays it into barrek Terovitch back to buy a good quick play Steve zach Kwani by the Sounders and good strike by JP. And it was and yet it was a very good save because that came through a lot of bodies JP quite well, yes it was quite central, but just the amount of bodies it had to go through goal keep a sweat quite late, made a good save. There's been

a good five minutes from the Sounder see. I thought even second half came out a little bit timid, but in the last five minutes Assault Sounders begins to play on the front foot, and I think as this Revolution team begins to tie up, remembers the team who played midweek and a lot of the players out there were involved in that game and then traveling cross country instead a very tough trip to make. Even now that you're not flat commercial, it's

still is a tough trip to make. And I think for the Sounders you've got to take advance of the tied legs. You've got a fully fit squad. We will see Rudias, we will see la Vega at some point, so get a second goals on this one nil. Every team is still in this game, especially in this league. Well apart from Rodriguez, who suffered

an injury a couple of weeks ago, pretty significant injury. Sounders have their strongest squad available to them, so on the bench for Bryan Schmittz already made one move at halftime, bringing on re Baker Whiting for Leo Chu's Josh Attencio, Ruy Diaz, Pedro de la Vego got some minutes last week. We expect him to get some more minutes tonight as he builds up his match fitness

coming back from his injuries. Jonathan Bell, Alex Roldan, Danny Mussovski, Andrew Thomas and Danny laver So. A strong bench, lots of options for Brian Schmetzer. They come New England in transition full of buck out of buy. Barak Tarovich has it. This crafty left foot rolls out to Panaeoto to

Polster flicks it from centers near side the left to Jones. Sound is just holding eleven men behind the ball, pressing quite as high as they did at times during the first half Oriaga. Tonight's match is presented by Boeing, a proud partner of Sounders FC and the Puget sound community. Here in the fifty eighth minute, sound is leading one goal to nil. That score of d is presented by Boeing Sound as win possession. Oben vargas so I see his

action on the bench. So Rui diez, just as you said to these and you're trying to think what brant Rich Spenser will do here. Jordan Morris the cold not a few moments in goal. It's still moving a bit gingerly, but I think this sub was in the works anyway. Likely we'll see rough Rock removed and Jordan Morris pushed out wide. But Ran Smester, that's that on flexibility what he will do, okay, based on the players he has out there. A lot of players been playing multiple positions, multiple roles.

I've got Barkers sitting on this right hand side high and right right now as Yamar rolls it out so that man Vargas cuts inside to his left foot right corner of the box comes back to Christian Rolldan Square did JP read Baker Whitey making a move out to the left. Fin's the foot of rolled On flicks it down the corner to Jordan Morris clips it to read Baker white A good play. No flake by Ross that could have shot it trying to find

raths Rock didn't read the play. Claire by New England. Good confidence play by the Sounders. It's great play, but too unselfish too unselfish album Russknack there trying to score a perfect goal. It was a great great born in by Red Bike awaiting. It comes New on the end line. Tried to find Jordan Morris by got shrugged off the ball. Referee Peggridge didn't give the

foul New England remonstrating to the referee. But it's gonna be a corner kick for the Sounders and excite a couple of minutes there knew Who usual his great pace to get in behind on that occasion, couldn't quite find the cross to Jordan Morris. He did have Redbake awaiting as the offer to cock back to. But I'm not upset what it's by new Who because if that does get

through us, the tap it for Jordan Morris. Short corner by the Sounders, JP back to Rosnat ball into Vargas has a chance from sixteen yards trying to bend it to the far corner block well by Bye got beat by new Who flicked in cleared by Polster top of the box to okay it gets challenged freuit kick Nope. Referee gets ask all Bet to stand up. No foul given. We'd beg Kuiety two hours up in the air on the far side, driven ball by rolled on to that man Read picks it up eighteen yards

from the inline left channel. Rosnack Square goes down the line to it. Rothrock strikes it across, gonna like a slight deflection. Yes, it is gonna be a corner kick for the Sounders. They continue to lead here one goal to nil. We decided to see that move raw Ruydiez. We're gonna wait to see who comes off. Is gonna be Rothrock, just as Steve zach Quarney mentioned, ten seconds to get off the field, so he needs

to sprint as fast as he possibly can here. You guess I think you heard you because he was taking his time taking in order praise and then it was a nice first of energy to change the place. Well, it was just I think a couple of weeks ago when Leo Chu came off too slowly, Rothrock was gonna come on the field. He then had to wait for a full minutes before he came back on. So rowriy Diez goes on the field. We expected to play as the nine and Jordan Morris and see zac

Quanni mentioned to slide out to that right hand side. The first thing that they could have a chat to do is get the ball in the back in there from a corner cake whipped in by Rosnick head a good save by Eva chich Yama, came across glancing header, good strong palm by Eva chitch over the top and the corner caick Sounders, Yeah, mcgravel all around, great didivery, great contact on a header by Yea. My real head of got off power behind it to snap on the head up and it's a good save.

But it does give the sound As another chance of a set piece and you can see the Sounders now the momentums there really need a second goal to put the game to bed, and they're pushing for it. All goes short again Rossnick to JP this some GP is gonna whip it in. It comes off the New England back line as they press it. Ball hooked in towards the back stick, headed down by Jackson Reagan to Ruy Diaz. We've seen him find those corners of the box, strikes it in, deflected and cleared

by Romney. Sounders. It's all Sounders right now as they're looking for this second goal here, trying to make it more comfortable night for these fans. It's j he has it left of center, comes back to New Sounder's patience in possession. It's changed for New England as well. Spaulding comes on the

field by comes off Jones has switched from left back to right back. Spaulding comes in on his left hand side, clears by that man and picked up by Jordan Morris and the Ryan's side whipped to the cross cut out by Romnick, deflected clears by Spaulding, eventually finds the foot of Pulso turns out a pressure rolls it down the line, pressed by JP and then Christian rolled on throwing from New England, but good sustained pressure by the Sounders, and it

is it's just it's just a switch in intensity. Playing on the front foot applying pressure at all times of Revolution. I think there is a gap between the two teams and the first half so a sound as seam that was a bit passive, defensively dropping off and it allowed Revolution to maybe look give it a little bit better than they are and will get through a bit too easily.

And in the second half, most of the second half we've seen it's been a sound as on a sound foot on the front foot looking the most likely of the two to turn this into two nil rather than one one. But until you get a second goal, every team miss it in this game, and that belief will still be the end of revolution and nine keli Port, how I know him, he'll be sending that message to be seen very

strongly. One nil not only is a point on the table, you can still believe you can get a couple of goals for say to Stephan Fry already in this game, for big saves three in the first half, one in the second half already. New England continued to try and find a way back into this game as they try to pick up bonus points. Caler Porter called it come into this west coast all out by rolled on into the foot of

ruy Diaz. Good little cut back ball into rolled on. Here come the sound as rusnaw across the halfway line, driving forward Redbake White into his left go square to ruy Diaz, lines it up strikes it. Didn't think anything other than finding a strike on goal block by New England picked up right corner of the box by roll Dard towards the back stick hand that comes across by Reed, Baker White just goggles up. There's a head injury. He's calling

I think on Jones on the far side. It was read Baker White clattering into Jones. Reid's walking around just holding the top of his head, Orrioga just taking a look at his ex teammate. Of course, see what the referee does here. He called stop to play when I think the ball was still in bounds. JP's coming across this near sideline to get a quick drink. Medical staff come on for both teams. Potential head injury which will not cause either player to go off for two minutes. Yeah, I mean Read

you can see a bleeding from the right side of his head. He came in very strongly there and got a great contact. Was a good board bout Christian roll down, but there definitely was a clash of heads. Both players moved around a bit gingerly. Are now getting seen to you by the medical staff and it gives both culture the chance to get some instructions out to their teams well. Sound As FC Soccer is presented by prominent Swedish official healthcare partner

of Sounders FC. So when am we're taking a slight break here, let's get you caught up with both results around the league. We've got you the Eastern Conference games for the most part. Let's get some of the Western Conference games going on. It's all bevy of games going on tomorrow as well. Or else, Slay continue their strong stock to the season, or their season

in general past a halfway point. Of course, they win five goals to two against Atlanta United Austin, who sat below the Sounders coming into tonight's game in tenth. We play Austin next week. In Austin, they get a win two goals to one against New York City. Of course, sound is leading here one goal to nil. So what does that mean for the standing? So live standings for the Sounders, they go from ninth to sixth if

results hold from twenty eight points to thirty one points. As we mentioned, a number of West Coast Western Conference teams play tomorrow, so things will reset after tomorrow's games. But as of right now, as results stand, Sounders sitting in sick position, just one point behind Vancouver in fifth or see if

the Sounders can continue to hold this lead. Of course, multiple comfort behind wins in the last couple of weeks been down at least a goal in the last three games, the third time Sin's twenty fourteen when they came back from two straight games to win, and the first time in club history to score game winning goals in added time in two straight games. So Sunder's making some history. As Brian Schmetz have discussed, shows are resilience, and there's Brian

Schmetz. You can hear him microphone just screaming across telling his medical staff reach good because he continues to sit on the deck. But there was a little blood there. It wasn't a not too serious yeah read, I don't think he he caught the worst of it actually initially because he was able to sort of get up and walk around. But you was going to be extra careful

with head injuries. We saw the situation last season when Krishian had done in a significant time and it's one of those things where you just can't quite shake out times and you got to be extra careful. I remember back in the day playing here with Nate Jake. What I mean it was a bruising type of motes. We set it forward and he struggled with that's all after a clash off head. So better to be on the side of caution anytime there's

any kind of head injury involved. You're hoping Read's okay here walking off on his own power and hopefully you'll be able to be back on shortly or change for New England. Join this slight break. Hanayo two is gonna come off the field. We'll just confirm it's Tommy McNamara first start for a while.

It was first minutes for a while, coming off the bench, experienced player, New York native signed in August of twenty twenty from Houston twenty three, had a serious injury coming back from that injury and get some minutes on the field. Here it gets his first touch. The Sounders lead sixty eighth minute, one goal to nail against New England. So they have the ball fartside the right. Jones back on the field after that clash of head, so

does Read Baker Whiting. New England have the ball and the Sounders half the field flicked to the center to Romney spawlding the service hug in his left side, goes back to Oriaga on the right as he rolls it out to Jones into Harks into McNamara sa, I'm just holding them men behind the ball they've made from their changes or to their changes already, we'd Baker Whiting on for Leo Tube read Baker Whiting Sorry. Ruy Diaz on the field now for rock

Rock playing up front, Jordan Urs shift his right hand side. There's Sophy Fry gathered in on the second attempt to cross New England. Try to make of Christian Rolldoones play on that right hand side as he comes inside again, he gets the start of course to a brother Alex. There's two players for the Sounders got clattered into each other, Ruy Diaz and Rosneck, both players on the ground. His neck just rolls over. Rudiez rolls over on his

back. Rosneck slow to get up. Try to make of Christian Rolldones performance so far on their right hand Sorry, I think if you think Newing Revolution, a lot of the attacked in the first off came down is their right hand side. So whoever seen too much on the left hand side on the Revolution? I think Christian maybe could have gone too the attack a bit more. He does love to tuck inside and be an extra midfielder. I think defensively has been sound, but for how influential he is when he does get

into attacking positions. You want to see him get on the ball a bit more because he's definitely one of the players you can still make a big difference

for the Sounders. But certainly hasn't put a foot wrong here and I do think we'll see de la Vega entering pretty soon as he just is getting your jersey on from long time sounds of putn't manager Nolan all down the right hand side from New England towards the end line along inside the Sex easily gathered by Stephan Fry McNamara got to the end line, should have find Rione sound has come away that as we get a chance, let's say a big congratulations to

Wade Webber, director of Development now the Sounders, fiant's coach. Of course in years past he was honored as the alumni of the match, got a chance to wave the flag in front of the crowd just before the players came out on the field. Great servant for Seattle Soccer in the community and of course now at the Sounders, old former teammate of ours and the broadcasting team

here many years on the pre part posts and halftime shows. As Rosnak has it read, Big White, he has for it gets it comes to Rudy snapshot in the side netting goalkick Sounders League one goal to nil. But Steve zac Quiney another good incitive play by the Sounders and won't expect for Rowd's a quick trigger. It's good football. It's really as good football and read big away and he's made a difference, you know, he made a change a half time for the old two. When you've got to say Red has justified

out his performance. He's been very involved, putting in another very good board. Raul snaps out it down. He could have quite squeezed into the near post, maybe even had a chance to take another touch there. Row Reedy has there. He did have a bit of time, but he's a very instinctal sort of player inside the eighteen yard box. But Russnick involved again and

read big away and very well. New England Havoc with Polster rolls it out to hearts fishing games for both central midfield players today get the board ticking over as Oriaga Carosid across the half way line, rolls it out to Joan to shift from left to right with the substitution of smolding for buy. But we

knew who kind of plays passed by. I think that was an indication to Kayla Porter that by only second start of his season after coming back from a long term injury as well, legs have gone on him, so it made the change. The Jones makes a dash in behind, picked up by new tries to run out, given away, picked up by Polster, gets it back of Haarks. Options Ford eventually finds tries to clip it in towards the end line, goes over the end line. Sounders gold kick get here in

seventy second minute. Sounders continue to lead one goal to a hill off the back of a Jordan Morris first half goal. Of course, don't leave us at the end of the game, Jackson felt, Kellen Rowe Chance Frey will be back to break it all down and so st player in that group of three made over two twenty appearances for New England Saint kell and Rowe of course ended his career here in his hometown Sounders. Federal Way native gave a chich

balls it out to Oriaga. Sounders looking for that second goal to try and solidify this lead here at lumin Field as they try to get their fourth win out of the last four games at home. There's a struggling start in some ways that Luminfield Towners couldn't get results, but they've only lost once in twenty twenty four. So Ariaga plays it across to Romney, but he's sent it back. A little bit of trouble, but he got out of it.

McNamara plays out to Spalding, closed down by Gamore asking for a deflection. Eventually your assistant referee gives it. Sounders throwing sound is faithful like that, give a rounded applause for the decision. We'll wait for the introduction of Pedro de la Vega, see when that might be. As the rest of the Sounders bench standing behind the sudden advertising hoardings watching the game as mcnarol tries rolling in behind Nick and Veroni pushing the bat by Yama, nothing given by the

referee goal kick. I think Steve Yeama playing a little bit of fire there. He playing with fire. But I do think Ronnie went down too easily. If he has a better touch or the pace to beat Yama, think he strikes it, but it's gonna be check because there was contact. I was in a rebuilt hit on the big screen, and for me, that is not a penalty just because it's a touch he took and he knew that he could have maybe have the beating off gamer by pace to get the shot

off, and so he decided to go down. But at the center back you take a risk, man. You make any kind of contact with a player going at full speed and it's a big risk. Well, there was enough connects you by Yemar to warrant the referee not giving a yellow card for diving, yeah, but obviously not enough to warrant going the vier. He got a quick decisions air piece game carrier Fry knocks it long towards Jordan Morris

picked up by JP. Sounders have played a little bit more direct in weeks past, combination of patient build up and also going a bit more direct. Sounders of course have been caught out by building from the back, very much like New England in the early stages of kayler Porter's reign, where they shifted very much to an old style with Bruce Arena in some ways to a possession orientated team. With Kayler Porter building out the back caught out several occasions in

the first part of the season. Now they've started to call themselves back. As we mentioned five wins have the last six games for New England coming into tonight three wins out last four away games for New England. Or gets picked up by Buck cuts it back to Harks to Polster Soundader's sitting in happy to let New England have possession, but seeing Brans Schwtzer Steve get up on his feet a couple of times encourage his team get a grip of this game.

Yeah, it's going a bit done after good, I would say, opening twenty minutes or so of the second half, twenty twenty five minutes and just a few last few moments revolution without being too dangerous, beginning to work and edge their way back into this game territory at least, and is Caleb put a redirecting his men to get forward as they seek that equalize up the Sammon just got a feeling they'll need a second goal to kill us off. You've

got that feeling scolding it was a shot? Was it a cross? Is a pass? Either way? When over the end line, Samer's continued to lead one Gold to hill here is again into the seventy sixth minute, you see what the introduction of Pedro de la Vegas. But about this point of the game last week where it came on, but it was like the game's not quite ready for a potentially he's going, Yeah, he was called over,

he put his jersey on. Then he's been sent back to warm up right there in front of ecs where the players normally warm up, but he has the jersey on, so before he may come on right side. Told before the game that he was about for thirty five minute fit at best. Now he'll get a good fifteen minute cameo. But Ran Smessers changed his mind at some point because Petrow was poised to come on and he was sent back to a model. So the way the game's going and what's the change is

it? Is it a new who out read back into left because by making the roove with Reed, you've kind of stuck yourself on the left hand side. Yeah, unless potentially knew who comes off? Yeah, and I obviously read really coming on with those right hand side, So you're thinking, maybe he's a case of JP has been coming off coming off. He dropped russnack mack a line potentially and you put Pedo in a number ten roll. Is there a case of maybe if Petrol does come on, does he come on

straight for Jordan Morrison on the right hand side. There's options there, but at this moment in time he won't have been the next sound of coming on. Well, we're starting to see Alex Roldan get his jersey and get some instructions from Andy Rose, the Sounders assistant coach. He's doing on pick kid of Roznak. Here they come with McNamara down the right hand side. They tap the goal to our left with Jones but oppressed by Reid Baker White and

he's getting a little tighter. McNamara comes inside, finds the foot of Buck as he clips the ball to the far side. Now he's gonna roll over the end line. It's a big goalkick for Sounders. They lead one goal to nil. Here at QC Pitch lureman Field ninety three point three. Kids, you're FM and serious nationwide. Be in a methodical performance so far by the Sounders. As we get their next change is gonna be JP's have come off the field. Of course. The game coming up on Tuesday quarter final

the US Old Quick Cup game. Sound of the spence the player stronger lineup than the game's pass change that Alex Roldan comes on the field. He's gonna go back to his traditional right back spots that Christian Woldar Swiss army knife that he is. He's gonna slide into the center of the park alongside Obed Vargas. It seems a logical change if GP is been a little fatigue. But it's obviously a big game coming upon Tuesday, and we'll see what Brian does.

But the likelyho it is you're gonna play a strong line upon Tusay and it's Sacramento in Sacramento with obviously a short turn around time. Yeah, and you think jp WO, even if he doesn't start that game, you might want it involve him at some point, and then you're probably gonna start him. Oh wait to bustin. So it's thinking ahead of the travel coming up

good bore by Rebaker White. He finds in front of Jordan Morris and his right hand side were all trying to take that dummy run from Jordan Morris. Is he trying to overlap him in the inside and he's got his pocket picked and he come New England with hearts across the halfway that tries to slide it in behind New does a good job picking it up Kayla Porter jumping up and down, frustrated at the giveaway. Kind of back and forth. Right now,

SAMs need to get a grip of the ball, maintain possessions. They lead here one goals in those week. Get into the eightieth minute played by Jackson, Reagan just splits the line, finds Ovid Vargas, goes to Rosnack, then out because there's the right hand side for Alex Rodin's first touch of the game, he of course started last week, came off at half time for roth Rock. Aggressive move by Brian. We don't see Brian making too

many changes at half time. He made a change tonight at half time two weeks in a row, full squad of players, and I like that, And he mentioned to me before the game, he says, look, I've not had this all year where pretty much everyone not balled away. But for the most part, everyone is healthy and what you'd consider my best eleven, I'm able to caught up on wardrobes players and put them in. I think

it sounds like probably the best thirteen fourteen because there's a couple positions. Then I'm definitely not for the beat, but it is a nice change for Brian Smith to be able to even have the option of using all of his players. Ball down the line to rebake. Quite a good ball by Knew who ten yards from the end line, left channel rebake White just skipped by towards the end line, tried to flick it around, ball goes out of bounds, went out, then back in. Say's a referee on this new so

he puts his flag up goal kick for New England. We'll get here in the eighty first minute, Sounds leading one nil. As you mentioned, the Sounders with this results all results stand Sounders our last game of the weekend. They currently sit in sixth position, so jumped from nine to six the Poland plate. Tomorrow, here's comes Rossnack strikes the good back of the net. Fantastic goal. We got two goals last week, gets a goal this week.

And then about rap set up as the Sounders leading two goals to nil. What is a great strike my arm of Rossnack because he had Johanna Morris hight open on the right hand side. Why it's a sign on the confidence of the man. He chanted by himself. And you're going absolutely con al about Rusnack. From twenty to twenty two yards out fires the Botomb corner.

He gets rocking for no chance whatsoever. New England playing into their own down for on that occasion there, But how about Russnach, I mean, wow, when you have Jordan Morris flying open for an easy fruit goal and decides to go along, that's the sign of the confidence that's playing with right now. A man in form and he puts the Sounders up to No. Four goals at his campaign now three gold and last two games and assist tonight he was team of the match. Say for the last two games the Sounders have

been involved with goal and an assist today. Fall down the line left hand side for New England with Hearts clips it in, headed away by Yamark to the foot of Jordan Morris, lays it back to Alex Roldon. They'll drop of the shoulders. He glides past Hearts, cuts it inside well, rolls it forward to Ruy Diaz drops it off, pressed by Ariaga out of position out can the Sounder take advantage or slept on the far side the left Nude

does save it towards the end line. He goes Rosnack in support. Left corner of the box was in square to read his left foot strikes a good save waver chitch rebound picked up by Ruy Dias farst side. The left Sounders enjoyed their football right now as they lead two goals. And I'll here it's a bit more like it. See the Sounders got their swagger back here at home. It really is well. Let me said read Baker Bay in his baby's role. He's been involved in almost everything. But in the second half

the sound has really been able to attack down that left hand side. Knew who's doing a much better job that when he joins the attack, really running with a purpose. And when the Sounders have turned up and down a little bit, the Revolution have really struggled to stay with them. And the second goal was the one I thought it'd be needed, and I felt it could come. Albert Russ, like the man in form another go on another as sister today and he seems to putting this game to ben as chatting again.

He spoke about it taking respect. They gets worry of it this time when I could have ended up really badly. Again for the Sounder, Kayler Porter ready to make three changes. It looks like Peta dalla vega and intends you are ready to come on for the Sounders. Kayler Porter spoke about this game being a bonus game. Is he gonna put throw one more change set of changes trying to change his game up or is he gonna basically gonna admit defeat,

get his players off, give him some rest. They've had three games in a week for New England. It's been a good run of games for them. As we mentioned, two to one win in mid week against Atlanta. It was a five to one loss last week against the Crew, which is their heavy loss in the midst of a run of wins four wins to trot in June. Rudy has rolls it out to Kawhite's batter knew who Sounders

shrinding through the game. Now he's getting the eighty fifth minute, Sounders leading two goals and Il goes by Morris and now Rosneck in the second half. Sounder is faithful on their feet, putting their hands together in support for the Sounders. We've seen and heard noise in the stadium Steed, and we haven't

heard in a while. It's good to hear again, it really is, and it's it seemed us in fun and especially here a place where the Sanders haven't been great the last eighteen months or so, but beginning to remake this place into a ford to us where teams are coming in here annoying. It's gonna be very top to pick up a result, and the sound is really feeling it round the hole giving away again by new angle. Here's Marie strikes it across block by Rodney corner kick for the sound as they play on the

front foot in these final minutes of the game. Well, Sounders fans, if Sounders FC scores anytime after the eighty eighth minute during a home match, we'll have the chance to win free Lasik surgery from Sharp Vision Modern Lazy can lens. Sign up today at Sounders fc dot com slash laser focus. Here are the change is gonna be Oben Vargus comes off, Potensio to the come on, Alvin Rosnak comes off, Pedro de la Vega. It's gonna come on so like for like switches, it's like l Vega's point to play in

that ten. Steve, Yeah, and I think it's a good change again similar to JP. Albert Russak likely will be involved, maybe not from a start in midweek, but you'd think at some point and then definitely next weekend in Texas against Austin. So give him a rest and then get the levega a few more minutes here, and he's probably preferred road as well. So brash Metzer made these changes. Okay, the Portero stars rings, but he's a talisman offer only comes off the field. We'll get to the rest of

those substitutions momentarily. Coriaga walks around the field. He got supped out as well, or gets whipped in to Jack's Reagan knocks it down with his right foot inside the six yard books slash that it with his right foot. What a chance for the Sounders. Left back goes wide. Gold kick remains too nil. Steve zac Corney, that was the chance that that was the lights that we've talked about. Yeah, and I think you said the keyword there

he's right foot. If that's on the other side, I think my chance of success is much higher when it's a week before like that, You kind of the technique goes a little bit. He really slashed at it and wildly then puts behind the gold. But what a massive chance to put the Sounders free noo up and really leave no doubt in this game, it comes to New England. Continue to try and find their self way back into this game.

Is getting here in the eighteenth with it chanced by della Vega foul de la Vega on Parks they mentioned the rave greenhead to Texas to take an Austin FC on Saturday, July thirteenth at five thirty pm Pacific. Watch the match via the MLS Season Pass on the Apple tvf and listen on ninety three point three KJRFM and l RA thirteen sixty am. The Provident Swedish pre match show starts at five pm. Sounders three wins at last three games? Can they

make it four or four? Here at Lumenfield? We'll played by Eve. I've got to put in a spot and bother my Christian rolled on who were out to read Baker white and far side the left. Job done, Steve, as it stands right now. Is you get here in the eighty ninth minute. We'll see what the referee adds on. But Samer's going on Tuesday with a big quarterfinal game against Sacramento the US Open Cup. Except quarterfinal that's an SGB yellow card. The fellows called SGB trial lawyers are here to help

vis an s GB dash law dot com. So what do you expect to see on Tuesday. Expect see a strong line up from the beginning, trying to put the game away early and then gress your players. My own indications from Brian Schmansne, he didn't even know exactly what he will do. I think you want to see how tonight goes. He definitely has some idea. I do think you'll see a mix. I think there are some guys who

have got to this stage you want to reward. But listen, you get to a carter final, you're trying to win, and so some of the key guys will play. Maybe not from the start because you've got to keep us in the mind as well, but we'll see a strong line up because if you don't great part by della Vega, well just slightly goes out, who's a ball in behind by Alex, rolled on, good vision by Delaveger, goes over the end like goalkick. But that's the kind of thing that

the sound is faithful or expected to see. Now della Vega back in the teams, yeah, you want to see more of that and for him as well, you know, as a player, stop start season New Country. All of that, it's not easy, and so you want to give him a good run of games. And I think coming into this kind of game where the games won won't play much, you're getting the boat as often as possible. Let him get his touches, let him get the crowd behind him.

I think I'll do him good. But just a final point on Tuesday, I think if you go there with the mindset of we're going to rotate and play a weekend squad, you'll get beat. Sacramento is a very good team. It's far too good of a team to take that approach. And I finish Mezza knows that he coached in that league as well. It's a

very tough. You've got some very very good teams there. So you've got a player strong lander ball out to spoiling on his left hand side, a little balling behind Bobby would So the changes that Cayler Porter made, Bobby would on the field, Marcus ds on the field, then Henry Kessler on the field play center back. So looking down on the board, six minutes of any time sound as good. A chance to get that third goal goes to New England. Got enough time, You've seen it for of course New England.

We get a sniffer goal, dangerous at times, but the second half the Sounders have started to really take control in this second half. But this copyrighted audio casts of Major League Soccer may not be retransmitted, to reproduce or rebroadcast without the express written consent of Major League Soccer. Rebig Whiting gets pulled down, foul and free kick for the Sounders. They get going quickly on the far side of the left Jacks A Reagan picks it up. Sounders is

gonna methodically build out the backers. New England's gonna press one more push to see them get back into this game. Sounders are gonna absorb the pressure and give away by Christian rold On slopping to New England balled so that man Diaz who strikes it deflects gonna be a corner kick for New England. And those are the things. Just that little snag of the cleat and the turf chushion rolled on as he's gesturing to his brother. Yeah, and I think the

clicheets are put. You know, every thing you do can build confidence, and you want to stay decided. The one I can't see that this last stage of make the last four minutes or so more interesting than they need to be. I think for New England they just lat a little bit of quality and a final third, and they've got into that situation many times and haven't got enough from him. New England corner kick on this left hand side outswinger

or comes in headed down by Kessler over the end like gold kick. Remains two nil to the Sounders against New England Revolution. This score update is presented by Provident Swedish Cephro and Fry, which is the fifth clean sheet for the Sounders. Andrew Thomas has one Sephro Fire's four, so it actually Stephen Fry's fifth clean sheet, the sound of sixth in total. The Sounders push up

their back line. Stephan Fry has gotta launch ship forward this right foot towards Pedro de la Vega, flicked backwards by Christian rolled on, picked up by Emar as they build now farside the left with new who's at a steady performance. But just as I say that gives the ball away cheaply picked up by Jones as he whipped it in beingland pressing high right now with four or five players just trying to find them way back into this game. All gets launched

long sounders ever played New England since two thousand and nineteen. The last three games against the Revolution of All ended in draws. Sounds you'll find a much needed win. You'll continue to lead MLS since their introduction two thousand and nine points against Eastern Conference teams and joy it's gonna be a yellow card a ten coo as he pulled down Its Spaulding, the left back for New England free kick just inside New England's half of the field. As Brian Schmitzer Steve stands

up barking some final instructions. I think he wants to clean sheet as much as Devon Criders. Yeah, and it's gonna be job well done, you know. I think it's a it's a first half performance last twenty minutes fifteen minutes wasn't great, but for the most part he saw a lot of what he wants he from his team, got a couple of goals, Jordan Albert involved in both both in a minute and form. And I'm not sure what it's been told to the referees ear here, what kind of refuges to happen?

It seem a pretty straightforward. Found well the running clock, we're approaching four minutes of the six two minutes to go. I three listening to his ear piece which she tends to just having a conversation down there on the fields. Referee got his hand to his earpiece, continues to listen spirits referee is me and peg Mitch, Yeah, and I think that's right. It was Jordan Morris on the phone. So I think he had given the yellow card to the wrong person. And that's one a case of mistaken I get it.

Yeah, there's a referee saying not for you Atensia, but for Jordan Morris. So he got information about personnel and the person getting the yellow card, not that it was anything more sinister than that. Atensia maybe had a little heart and mouth moment as he saw the referee has had. We've seen this of course here with Jackson Reig. We felt that wasn't even a yellow card. It was an in division got a red card on review. It's

Vancouver. I was the only loss here at Lutman Field was against Vancouver to Gorston Hill. When the sound has got two red cards, so take always some of these red cards. It sounds could beat potential in a much better

position than they are right now. Jumping looks like it's a sick spot in the Western Conference games tomorrow, of course, when the Western Conference seems involved, New England have a throw on the far side well into Baclamara, pressed by Atensio, almost wins the balltop of New England's box, cross comes Poulster back to Kessler, rolls it out to Joe's looks like up and over the line. Yes he did. Since the referee flight goes up throwing for the

Sounders, you can see how this final thirty seconds. So fifth clean sheet for Stephan Fry, sixth clean sheet for the Sounders. He's been well on from Stephan made some really big sid Let's not forget out one nail. It's gonna have easily easily gone a different way when you are pressing in the final parts in the first half, as Stephen Fry stood up strong as he's done

so many times over the years. A couple of three reasons go out to enjoy it as New towards the end line box it off Jones over the end line for a corner kick, and that should be that referees is gonna potentially let this ball coming bounds, then blow his whistle to get past the sixth

minute mark. Sometimes I wonder whether the refugees just call it now and eventually does blunt The touch comes in by Pegro de la Vega, Whody as de la Vega race each other give it sales a high five Sounders, efficient game for the men in Green tonight. Jordan Morris the fifteenth minute of a Albert

Rossnick assist. That was Morris's eighth goal of his campaign, Rossneck's ten plessists and then Rossnick folder last week's two goal performance against Chicago with the second goal in the eighty first minute to take the Sounders over the finish line with a two nil win. Steve Secuonio final thoughts, Yeah, job well done. I think it's a very professional performance. Wasn't pretty all the way, but those two guys Albert Russknack Jordan Morris did a two million form once again making

the difference. And I think the icen under cake today is the clean sheet and it's the best prep folling into a very big weekend Open Cup chance to play for the trophy here one step further in that in that tournament and then a massive game in Texas next weekend. So great win by the Sounders. I think it's a team that has turned the corner. Everyone's healthy and Sounders fans should be feeling good about a team right now. Well, thanks for

everyone involved in today's broadcast. Terry Ryan here in the booth, and this hearst back at the studio, Keeley Dunning, Kevin Kay of course the Sounders legend Steve zach Uani. We'll see you back here on Tuesday when the Sounders take on Sacramento Republic in the quarter final of the US Open Cup. But for now we'll take a short break. Jackson Felts, Kellen Rowe and Chance Fry will be back to break it all down. From EQUC Pitcher Luminfield.

Smiles all around and this beautiful evening here in Seattle is the Sounders win. They didn't even have to come back to do it. They got it to nothing tonight over the New

England Revolution. That is how this match ends. Goals in the fifteenth minute by Jordan Morris, the eighty second minute in the run of play by Albert Rusknik as predicted actually predicted by Chance Frye. Here as we welcome you into the postmatch show, Jackson, Felt, Chance and Kellen Row for the next half hour breaking down and celebrating a Sounders win tonight here at Luminfield. They've now won four straight home matches. That's something we haven't done in four years.

We have thirteen points in the last five games and up to sixth place in the Western Conference, just three points out of fourth place. Again, a very very good night here at Loomenfield, So welcome in. We had lots to talk about, but first Chance, Kellen, let's just get the overall initial reaction to what was a good performance and a win. Tonight's well. As we were talking about in the hallway there. It was the first

game that we've had. It was kind of comfortable. There were some moments though in the end of the first half where New England was coming in and Stephan had to make two great saves. But second half we pretty much took over. I think it was a good sub We got started getting well, whether it was the sub or whether we just started playing that way. We were getting down the left hand side, getting some joy there and everything.

So the team played well. We kept the ball, we made New England work to get it back and it was a good second half and then polished off with a goal by Rusenek, which was great. That was awesome, and Da la Vega came in and sparked I wouldn't now sparked it, but he played solid. I think he talked about it a chance, the fact that we started off strong. I think our goal is in the fifteenth or sixteenth minute. That's something we needed to do because, like we said in

the pregame, New England's traveling across the country. They played on a Wednesday night in an emotional game. Last minute and now you're going through and that second half, there's a lot of tired legs. You know, they were chasing around. They were sitting back, but they were having to chase and chase and chase because you know, credit to Seattle, they had a lot

of possession and they continued that in the second half. And when they did have those runs off the ball like we saw in that second half, when you're facing your own goal, say it's demoralizing. It's almost like Brian Schmitzer heard our halftime show and then said, I mean it actually, I mean

joking aside, that's what we talked about. We talked about the tired legs they've played on Wednesday against Atlanta. A lot of these guys had to go again and again because I mean the injury report for New England had ten players on it. They got some back tonight, but there are so many tired legs on that Revolution team and the Sounders just took it to him and just owned the possession and just wore him out and they were done in the second

half where it really could have been more. But and as to nothing really quickly. Tonight's Toyota the man of the match is Albert Rusnak with a goal and an assist. Your all the Toyota Doers are proud to present tonight's Man of the match. And you know, Albert's a guy where statistically and I love the numbers, fourteen goal contributions, goals and assists in twenty games this year. He has nine of those fourteen in the last seven games. He's

on an absolute eater right now. Yeah, no, he's playing great. But the one thing that I was really impressed with in the second half was the way we moved the ball. But it was the movement off the ball and there was lots of interchanges and lots of nice Chris passes and that's what just killed off New England. I mean it just ran them into the ground and they were done. But it was very impressive ball movement and man movement by the Sounders in the second half. When Albert came into the team,

he was unselfish. You know, he's obviously been a ten for most of his career, very quality ten when he was at saul Lake and that's where we brought him in. And when you have a guy like Albert and Nico and now juau Is where as well, that's an amazing midfield. But who's gonna be the other sitter with Duau? And Albert put his hand up and

said I'll do it, and he did it very well. Now that he's getting the chance to have his freedom back, have that number ten level, be that playmaker like he is and kind of roam to find the space. It took him a little bit, but now you're seeing it those last night games. Are you kidding me? With the amount of amount of contributions. The quality passes, like Chance said, the ability to know where his players want the ball. Jordan doesn't want that ball of his feet. He wants

ten years in front of him so he can make the run. Yeah, and with a little bit of selfishness. He had a couple of other opportunities where he could have pulled the trigger too, but he made a nice little flick. It didn't come off but a little bit more. You know, Hey, I'm gonna take this shot, but he could have had another one.

It's absolutely right. And Kelln, you talk about the guys that are gonna play a holy I mean you pointed out off the air Christian tonight played just simply it right back and then next to obed in in the midfield and or and then Josh for Christian not even getting a sniff of the wing tonight is I'm not sure the last time we saw that, but we did see him making a lot of runs and roaming around and having kind of that free range that he does when he's playing at the right back spot. Well,

and you say, simply doing just right back in center. Man, it's one of the hardest things to do because on this outside you have one guy to beat and one guy to defend. Really in the middle, all of a sudden, everyone is around you. You have zero time, zero space, and you have to know where everything is. And so it's a mental change that you have to have. And he's obviously a mister reliable, right and has been the almost a mister sounder for alf the time, right.

But he's he's been incredible. He obviously knows the game very well, and I would go as far as saying he's the on field leader when Stephen Fry has not heard maybe from the forwards or anything of that sort. You follow Christian events, his work rate, his knowledge, his voice, he's so selfless. I mean, he plays absolutely everywhere, and I mean it's it's sort of is like, you know, I would love in an honest moment, you're a Christian, you wish you just had you know, one lockdown

spot. But the ability of him to play you know, five different positions has helped him so much, and you clearly tonight just that utility to be able to fill in all these different spots helps the team do a too. Nothing to win. Yeah, I've I've said many times to people that I think right after Stephan's name on this on the on the lineup sheet, Brian writes down Christian's name and it doesn't really matter where it's at. He can fill into a lot of different places. It was really nice to see Alex

get on the field. He looked confident. I thought he played really well. And then Christian, you know, sitting in the midfield, got some more touches in different areas, which I think that he looked like he was enjoying himself. He was really moving around. He did have a couple of missed controls a couple of times that you pointed out. And that's what I'm

leading to next, is that we know we're loving this win. We say it's almost comfortable, right because it's almost comfortable because it wasn't a full ninety. We had a lot of mistakes, We had a lot of slip up, especially tour the end. We had a lot of times where it thank you Stephanie, thank you Sevan try for coming up big and in a few

saves. But it's it's not complete yet. It's like we talked about it being the mental thing, because you have to have the quality, you have to have the simple passes, the awareness, and I know from Christian that's not going from right back in the center. Man. He was. He was a little bit tired. He's just he turned off for a second. And it happens to everyone, even even when you know mister reliable. So you have to have guys back them up, and we did tonight. He's

so selfless in such a team player, filled in great tonight. And you know you mentioned this Stephen Fry and the double save in the thirty fifth minute brings up a great question over what the Emerald Queen Casino play of the matches.

on Sports Radio ninety three point three KJR FM. That's right, taking care of business because of the Sounders who took care of business tonight here at Luminfield fourth straight home win. It picked up tonight to nothing over New England Revolution. Welcome back in for the postmatch show Jackson Feltz, Chance Frive, Kelen Row Here as we celebrate the Sounders win tonight that moves them into sixth place

in the Western Conference. Real Quick Delta Airlines is probably to do only one soccer ball for every mile ran by Sounders FC players this season through Ray Foundations one mile, one ball program. All right, it's time to actually have a debate. I love when we can actually have a full on back forth debate over the Emerald Queen Casino Play of the match. So there's three plays that stand out to me, and I think we've already narrowed it down to

two s. It's the goals fifteenth minute Jordan Morris. The one that is is a clear and to Lao Chew. He heads it to Morris, Morris lays it off to Albert Rusnak. Rusnak plays a through ball, Morris fights off, Dave Romney scores it. You have the eighty second minute goal from Rusnk where he picks it up with some space, dribbles it outside the box, probably from about twenty twenty two yards out. HiT's a nice long goal. And then also Stephan Fry a double save where the second save was a

kick save in the thirty fifth minute. So chance, callum chance, I'll let you be the first to debate and give your opening nod for what should be the play of the match tonight. So all three of them are great, all three important. I'm going to give my nod to Jordan's first goal, the first goal for the team. It was a great team goal, but at the end of it, to hold the defender off, to actually toss him almost to the ground and then finish top corner. He made it

look a little bit easier than was. It was a difficult goal and that put us up one nothing, which was great, and so I would choose that as the play of the match. Well, it also shows the quality right of the two players that are hottest right now in Albert Rusnak with the ball through and Jordan Morris who's on the run right now of scoring goals and goals like that. That reminded me of the Saint Louis goal that they scored

when Rail laid it off to Albert and Albert played Jordan through. But I'm gonna give my nod to the double save for the reasons that look at the time timing of it, it's still in the first half. They were kind of on top of us for a few minutes there. It was a little too easy to run through the first save, the second save being a kick save. But that's going to give something like that a goal right before half

tied one to one. That gives life to a team coming across the country that is tired legs and now that they don't have that goal, and that was their one chance and they knew that that was their one chance. Their heads are down. They're now more tired because it's mentally, you know, strenuous to continue to defend and defend and defend, and when you missed that one chance twice, it's just not going your way this night. So you think it's interesting because I was then, So you just said that I was

kind of leaning one way. So do you get the feeling as a player? You can you can speak to this where if you see a keeper in the in thirty fifth minutes, so we're still, you know, third of the way into this match, make make a moment like that, you're kind of just you know, heads down. It's sort of like, all right, you know this, this is gonna be an uphill battle today. You're feeling that in that moment, you already felt the uphill battle again. You're

tired legs. You can't understand how hard it is to do that, that travel after that many games. Yeah, and then to come play in a place like Seattle. That's not an easy thing to do. And I don't think anyone in the league wants to do it. But when you have that mentality of we have a one or two chances because we are sitting back, we are countering here if you're gonna have that one or two chances, and we miss them both in the first half, and it's because of good saves.

It's because of good plays. You're like, what's it gonna take. Yeah. In addition to that, it fires up especially Stephan and is back for because they're like a little unit. They're like a gang, right, and they get super you know, stoked whenever he makes a big save like

that. So that just helps everybody else keep going for their half at least, you know, I think the thing for me, if I'm going to break this tie, I think I go to the key to the game that we talked about at the start of the end of the pre match show,

and the big key was hit him early. You gotta start fast, because at the end of the day, this is a team that has gotten comeback win after comeback win, but we hadn't seen them leading a match early and just kind of take grasps and unlike Kansas City, you know, take grasp them and hold on to it for an extended twenty minute spell. And that's what the Jordan Morris goal in the fifteenth minute did, I think is it

is. It kind of just set the tone early of we're tired of having to come back on teams, We're tired of having to you know, just you know, make a big run in the second half. Let's just put them behind the eight ball early. They've played three, you know, third game this week. Let's just get him and to get that you'll initially and then chance I think you mentioned the team element of it, where it's it's Leo Chew and Albert Rusnak combineding there and the fight from Jordan, and then

the finish was great. It's it's about fifty one to forty nine. It's as close as you can get as we can find here on par play of the match. But we're gonna go with Jordan Morris's goal. Anders if you have it dialed up. Danny Jackson, Steve Zachawani on the call for Jordan Morris opening the game by on the right hand side, tries to shift it towards the pe case butt claar by Jackson, Raig and Chu just flicks it up into the end of Jordan Morris able to knock it back. Now he

runs through. He's got the legs. Oh Norman can you push it forward into the eighteen yard bucks. Jordan fantastic finish. They use all of the bucks again into the eighteen yard bucks and then he finessed the shot into the roof for the net to put the sound As up one goal to nail. And the play of the match was presented by em Queen Casino, the betting

capital of the Northwest. Great Plays tonight, big moments for the Sounders, but Jordan Morris's goal there what a start for the Sounders where they eventually get a two to nothing win tonight over New England Sounders. Hew has fourteen goal contributions four goals, ten assists here on the season. Nine of those have happened in the last seven games. He is on a run right now. Time to take a look ahead at what's next for your Sounders. It's a busy week. They play on Tuesday and they play on Saturday. Saturday, really quick

is the next MLS action. It's gonna be a match down in Austin, Texas. We're gonna have a pre match show of five o'clock kick off at five thirty right here ninety three point three KJRFM for Sounders and Austin FC. So that's going on next Saturday, a week from tonight. But the Sounders also play on Tuesday in Sacramento in the US Open Cup. We're gonna have that broadcast over on nine to fifty k AM on Tuesday. A little bit

different. I know a lot of you probably used to weekdays where it's pregame at seven, kickoff at s. It's actually gonna be pushed back in another half hour. So pregames at seven point thirty kickoff at eight o'clock for this Open Cup quarterfinal against Sacramento Republic. You can also watch the match Mlsseason Pass on Apple tv app. I believe has it Open Cup Action and again we will be nine to fifty k am seven to thirty pre game for Sounders in

Sacramento. And as we look ahead to this match, guys, Chance for I Caleen Rowe, Jackson Feltz here, I think the interesting question is listen, it's Open Cup where we've seen a lot of rotation, but it's a quarterfinal and if the Sounders went through, they would then host the semifinal the winner of LAFC and I believe I'm not sure who lafc's New Mexico, that's who they're playing. So the Sounders have a chance to host a semifinal of

the US Open Cup against one of those two teams. I'm thinking Chance, Kellen, that you gotta invest a lot in this game to secure that semifinal berth and make sure you have all lot of top you know, senior level, main first team guys starting and giving big minutes in that game. Tuesday. Look, I think you have to be smart as well, that's the thing is you want to you want to throw everything at this game, and I think they are. They're going to have a very veteran squad, but

a mixed veteran squad as well, because you still need that youth. You still need to give guys minutes. You still need to give some guys a rest when it comes to these MLS games. Because we've seen the Open Cup bump a few times this year already. You want to continue that. So you want to make sure you have the positives, especially going you know, four games now at home wins, having a good stretch through June and July. Can you continue it in the MLS season as well. You don't want

to drop off that either. I would totally agree. You know, that's why Brian is called the manager, because he's going to manage the team and he's going to change up the lineup and he's That's one of the things that Schmeetz is really good at, is whether it's being forced into it because of injury, he is very good at manipulating the lineup and getting the most out

of it is out of his squad. It's a great point because you look at tonight, I mean Alex Roldan limited minutes, you'd think he I mean, he's played it, He's started an Open Cup this year, so you know Alex Roldan being there. You know, you look at the halftime sub today of Leo Chew coming off, read Baker Whiting coming on. You know, so I when I when I said, like, you know, first

team players, I think about those kind of guys. You know, Raul Ruda is also you know, I would think, is that maybe a canon? Just start it forward? Right? Jordan went the full ninety tonight, so you wouldn't think Jordan could start on Tuesday. Right, We've seen, you know, things happened before. But like, you know, I guess my thought would be, you know, you're starting very quality players who have

played key minutes in MLS action. Uh it, you know, the the Georgie Manotoon goot, you know those kind of Tacoma players who have played big minutes. You're Kilani Coza, Rienzi who had that huge moment in the Phoenix

game. You know, this this game, I feel like may see a lot more of the names of Alex and of Leo, and you know that kind of regard is is sort of what it was kind of leading towards absolutely, but you know you have to sprinkle in those guys that are gonna be hungry game changers that could be in the in the end of the games and orgy. I'm thinking, yeah, Georgie, but I'm thinking Dylan Tevis. Oh yep, I'm thinking Josh Atensio. You gonna get a lot of minutes

there. And I wouldn't mind seeing an Albert Rusnak Jordan Morris in the bench, on the bench ready to come in, because they can again be game changers, but they're also smart. Let's say we're up one zero and we need to you know, waste some time. Throw Jordan up top and let them run around. I mean, that's that's a that's a breakaway finish waiting to happen, or or at least of the work rate and quality of a

forward like Jordan. Yeah, I totally agree. And if you're looking down at tonight's substitutes, most of these guys can start for a lot of MLS teams. I mean, that's a quality bench. I mean, so I don't think you can look at players like, you know, you're just a starter, You're just a bench player. I mean, you have to be throughout a whole season. Sometimes you have to be a little bit of both. Well, here's the final thing I'll note on that Sacramento weather for Tuesdays

scheduled that ninety six degrees on the field. You know, I don't know if Sacramento has grass or a way of turf, but it's going to be ridiculously hot down there. So maybe the kickoff time pushed back a little bit to to word about the weather. But it's gonna be a real, real hot one. You're playing summer in the MLS, you know, you know how it is. It was a hot one here tonight. We've done Houston, We've done Dallas, we've done Orlando. It's it's an unfortunate thing that's

gonna happen. Hell, we're going to go to Austin next weekend. That's not going to be a fun one. And it's it's just it's the nature of the battle and you got to play through it. And there's gonna be you know, water breaks, Make sure you're hydrated. There's gonna be guys on the bench that are hungry to go. So when you can, when you can't go anymore, and those legs are Jello get off same number for Austin, ninety six degrees. On Saturday, we played out Pass a long

time ago, one hundred and before even global warming. They scheduled the game at two o'clock in the afternoon, grew the grass along. They even told us they wanted to slow us down. It was awful. Did you win? We lost dude a miskick over Marcus's head. It was literally a crashot. We just saw Marcus. We should have talked about it. I honestly, I think it might have been in Nashville three o'clock. It was my first. It was the first game of the Gold Cup. I was the

fittest I've ever been. I was cramped up in sixty two minutes, like full full body cramp, and I was like, I can't do this. I walked. I walked into an oven, but it was like broil oven. It was horrible. Well, we'll see what it looks like on Tuesday Sacramento, then Saturday in Austin. Scorching temperatures for all three games in this eight day stretch, but the Sounders started off good at two nothing wins tonight over New England, fourth straight home win, now thirteen points in the last

five games. They're up to sixth place in the Western Conference, just three points off of fourth place Colorado. We want to thing everybody with the broadcast tonight.
