Let's quickly just open up with the initial reaction chance to the zero zero game today. I will say that I think that that the players put in a shift. Everybody worked really hard. Whether we played perfectly all over the field is another question, but we got
a point out of it. They did create chances. Yes, everybody would love to score a goal, but trust me, I've been there before. Scoring goals is the hard thing to do in soccer. And I thought that they we did everything and nobody would be thinking about any mistakes if just any one of those goals came off of a shan or anything. It was a great crossing to Massovski. The defender did an excellent job to clear that one out, and young Georgie came on and I thought he was a really bright
spark. I thought he did great. I thought all the guys coming off the bench were really good. I thought Reid Baker Whiting had a really good ball played in. Cody Baker had another ball that the one you just talked about that was going to Danny Massovsky, same cross, same quality that they scored on a few weeks ago with Danny on the header, and Georgie was a bright spot coming in. It's a shutout. It's the fourth shutout of the year. Creating a lot of chances, and that's good. We expected
to do that against this LA team. But boy, we certainly want one goal, just one goal and not quite creating the luck that they need, right, And sometimes you get a little bit lucky and and and then that parlays into the next one. But I think they'll be a bit disappointed. Thy'll be disappointed that they didn't get the win at home. I think LA they were celebrating after the game, so they were clearly thrilled. Minus those
two players, you know, to get to get one point. Vanny went straight up on the field, clapping and cheering on the scene before he realized I gotta go, coach shake coach metzers in, so LA was pleased with that. We're a bit disappointed. We did create chances. Guys off the bench were good, just a lot of half chances. I mean, I just my my note sheet here is full half chance, half chance, half
chance, and none of them ended up resulting in a goal. So we just once again, we just need that final ball and we didn't see it today. In this zero zero game with the La Galaxy, it was time for our emial Queen Casino play of the match in the seventy sixth minute. This match could have very easily become one nothing La Galaxy, but Stephen Fry said no way. Jose CARMANI whips it into the right hand side, bounces through to foot gun Days, takes a shot good saved by Stephan Fry.
It was a cross from your money on this right hand side, found his way through to foot good Days office bully saved by Stephan Froy ConA kick remains No, no big save there from Stephen Fry in the seventy six minute and that is the play of the match presented by Emerald Queen Casino, the betting capital of the Northwest is signed for today's Toyota Man of the Match. And this was a kind of a discussion that we need to kind of continue from
off the ear onto the air. Who deserves Man of the match. Fry gets the shutout. We saw good shifts again from Ovid Vargas. Christian rolled on Georgie's you both mentioned good off the bench a chance. Who does your vote for? Go go for there? No, it's a tough one.
There were you know, I think Steph, you know, got the shut out, so maybe I leaned towards that, But yeah, I think there were a lot of guys that sort of played in that area of and no the same yeah, you know, and everybody, like I said, put in a shift, They worked hard, and there were just certain moments and like going back anyway, we can talk more about it, but you know,
getting those shots off and getting the right type of shots. The only one I would want to mention is Leo Chew with the one when he tries to put his lacest it. In my mind, it's a side footer. You just have to be confident and calm side foot in the corner. The goalkeeper is dead and buried and he could have sloted out on the corner. Yeah, Pete, we talked about a few minutes ago. Roull put in a lot of work today, both offensively and defensively, really tried to create,
brought some good energy and Christian Roldan. Between those two guys, I thought they were really good. Try with the shutout is very important as well, but somewhere between Christian and Raoul I thought they were good on the field today. My vote's going to go for Christian. So Christian Roldan is the man of the match or local toy. There is are product present tonight's man of the match, and I like that shout. Because Christian Roldan started at
right back. He was moved a couple different times across the field, true based on the various subs, and no matter where Christian was he was putting in good work. I mean on that right back spot he had to face paint. So when they flipped and Gabrielle Peck as well, and I thought Christian did a great job shutting them down, and that was where the danger came from La on those wings. So Christian doing that against both of them.
But then also, I mean a couple of times, guys, we saw La moving instantly downfield and it looked like he was gonna be a great counter attack and the Galaxy We're gonna have a big chance and big opportunity. And Christian would I think a couple times during the game just stopping write where they were. I think his his leadership in the midfield alongside and young Obed Vargas alongside Josh Tencio, his leadership on the back line as well. I
thought he was great today. Chance, Yeah, no doubt he just as he pointed out right towards you. I don't know what minute it was, but it was late in the game, and he was busting his tail to
get back and win the ball back for us when LA was countering. So now Christian did put in a good shift and did a great job as he always does, and he worked really hard, absolutely so for of the Sounders to draw today, and now the team will switch gears and head to us open Cup action and we're gonna have a broadcast for It's the US Open Cup Round of thirty two and the Sounders journey in the twenty twenty four US Open
